We stayed because we were attending a wedding in the area and booked a number of rooms. The rooms were comfortable, the staff were most helpful and the breakfast was good. The only complaint was the difficult in parking. Rooftop parking is available above the supermarket across the the road but on Saturday evening quickly filled.

Nice hotel , with plentiful breakfast. Great if going to show in West End or in centre of Glasgow. Room clean , shower good power. Only drawback is that you have to pay for wifi when even small hotels give you free acess.

We had a lovely room with a nice view but the tv never worked properly, even after numerous requests. The wedding disco downstairs went on till 1 am so we never got much sleep or peace.

Great hotel. Great service. Was guest of the day which was a surprise and the extras you get with this were nice touches. Would recommend and definately stay again.

Excellent---staff very friendly and helpful at all times. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was great and would highly recommend it to all but even more if you are disabled as we were given a room which really suited this fact as there were emergency cords in room and bathroom which made you feel in safe hands. Great stay--thanks!

We have stayed in the Grosvenor Hilton previously. This stay did not disappoint. From the welcome at check in, through to breakfast and check out, all staff were very professional & courteous, Hotel comfort and amenities could not be faulted. Excellent service my mothers 85 and they accommodated us exceptionally well as we had a support person to look after her . Hotel staff all excellent, breakfast as always a high standard, customer care 100%

Great hotel if you enjoy noise all night! Our bedroom which was at the back of the hotel, was beautiful but the reason we rated it 3 was that the central heating in the bedrooms have no controls for the patrons to adjust therefore the room was far too hot for us, so we opened the window and the noise from the air con/central heating vents was so loud […] during the night that we could not sleep. The same problem next night when we had been moved further along the corridor to a 'quieter' room. Reception staff were fantastic. Allowed early access to room to get ready for wedding and also helped at checkout - really friendly! Room was fine but dropped an earring and was surprised to see lots of dust and feathers below bed. Also quibbled about pre-booked breakfast saying their was nothing booked on their system. We had friends come to stay at the hotel on a visit. Sadly, due to being put in rooms above a function suite, both requested a move. This was done without fuss and credit to the hotel f or that. On the next night, our sleep was disturbed by inconsiderate guests who decided to continue their Christmas party outside our door. One call to reception and […] the problem was quickly resolved. Neither of our small complaints were the fault of the hotel. Some people are just ignorant and uncaring of other guests. Not our first visit to the Glasgow Grosvenor, nor will it be our last. Nice hotel in Glasgow West End. Family room consited of 2 double beds, maybe a little on the small side but comfortable. Very large bar area downstairs with sofas and chairs and kid friendly. Paid parking 10 pounds extra per night.

The hotel was very good. Service from check-in to breakfast to check-out was first class. We were attending a concert at Oran Moor which is directly across Byres Road from the hotel so this is a must stay in hotel and one that I have recommended and will definitley use again. The hotel is good, however my room was situated next to the lift. It was extremely noisey and after three nights of disturbed sleep I was glad to be going home. Good location as close to Hillhead subway which made an easy journey to the SECC.

We recently visited my daughter who is studying at Univ of Gasgow. This hotel is within 15 min walk to university and most sightseeing destinations. Hop on/off bus stop right across street. A lovely older hotel at the intersection of Great Western and Byres Road in the west end. It is an excellent location for us near the university and many excellent restaurants and pubs. We were there for a week and had arranged for a number of old friends to meet us at the hotel. The Terrace provided a marvelous home like atmosphere with food and drinks […] available and an excellent staff. Persons working at Reception were very attentive without being intrusive and also provided excellent service. Excellent service, very friendly Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice which is a bonus for someone who is gluten free and doesn't have cows milk. Bed very comfy and shower hot. Stayed for one night. Excellent location for Byres Road, hotel staff friendly and helpful. Bo-vine restaurant bit too dark for breakfasting, and food was only lukewarm.

Overall excellent however the hotel bar closed early and as I arrived back late with corporate clients I was disappointed not to be able to buy them a drink!

All in all, a good business experience. Stayed for 1 night at a fantastic expedia rate. This is excellent hotel but about 2miles away from glasgow central station. . Our train to london was at 16.40 . We left the bags in the hotel and came to Gasgow. The people at the front desk were helpful. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable and the shower pressure was great. Some advise, if you do need dietary requirements for breakfast confirm on check-in as just doing it during booking doesn't guarantee they'll organise it.

Room and hotel well presented. Reception and breakfast service excellent but whole experience spoilt by the room temperature. It was a cold and wet summers day but the room was uncomfortably hot with no air conditioning and the window was restricted to an opening of a few inches. Stayed at the Grosvenor Hilton before refurbishment, and now twice since. As always the staff are wonderful in every area and are a credit to themselves and Scotland. I think there was a technical problem which could easily be rectified. I am deaf and can only understand TV through subtitles. really a great stay this hotel is out of the city about 2 miles however you have bus stops right across the road and a underground station and taxi fare £ 6.00 to city centre for 4 people.great value fab food and great breakfast. and we also had the use of the other hilton leisure centre.

We were effectively prevented from returning home at the end of our stay because of the disruption to rail services following the effect of adverse weather conditions. Efficient service, clean room and facilities, pleasant if unexciting decor. No problems and no gripes. Only reasons for not being a 5 are that, while helpful and efficient, the staff were not all as warm in their manner as they could be; and that it is part of a large chain so nothing unique about the decor. But good experience overall.

Great hotel, perfect location. We had a triple room that was a great size, well decorated and very clean. Unfortunately our room was close to the lift area which meant it was a bit noisy with guests arriving back late. Would recommend this hotel & will stay there again.
