We had 4 people with 2 double rooms. One room is very small but the boss(I guess) promised us that he will adjust another bigger room for us because we will stay for 6 nights. Luckily we got it in the next day when we back to hotel. Everything in hotel seems not too far as we expected. Of course you can't treat it as a modern hotel but it's enough for us for what you paid in London. The location is great. It takes around 10 mins slow walk to Paddington train station/underground. Convenience is better than anything. The breakfast is also not bad but I strongly suggest don't order continental breakfast. English breakfast is good and the quantity is enough for us. Even though we asked more toast sometimes, they were willing to offer. Orchard hotel gave us 6 good sleeping nights during our stay in London. We are willing to recommend it to others if you have budget control.

Very nice hotel, convenient for eating and shopping, only 200m away from Paddington Station, I'll come to stay at this hotel again in my next trip to London.

"Great hotel and great food"
Fantastic hotel. Hoppa bus to airport is £4pp each way. Gym a little small, but everything else is EXCELLENT. Great food in the bistro - Indian restaurant looked fantastic too. Brilliant.
"Crown Plaza London-Heathrow"
The room was nice enough, the bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been washed in a while, spots and debris on the floor. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the bar, two of the four meals were sent back they were so bad. Way overpriced for the quality of the food.

"Shame about the food!"
Nice hotel let down by poor catering. Breakfast is really poor. Even the poached eggs were reheated. Pity be ause the food isn't cheap either.

Very adequate for staying near the airport to catch early morning flight. A bus shuttles to the airport though you do need to pay for it.

The Crowne Plaza is an average airport hotel trying to pass itself off as something more upscale. The food in the hotel restaurant was striving to be average and was priced as if in a 3 star central London bistro. The check in was bizarre. It took 20 minutes caused (per the desk clerk) by the fact that I was using an Amex card for incidentals. This hotel is 5 minutes from the airport, but the shuttle costs c. $7/p or a taxi $17, and the food in the hotel restaurants is really dreadful and not cheap, which means we had to add $100 to our bill for dinner and transportation to the terminal. My husband usually stays at the Holiday Inn Heathrow and he said the Crowne Plaza Heathrow was nicer. And it was cheaper than the Holiday Inn.

"Good transfer hotel"
We stayed here one night because we were transferring from Gatwick to Heathrow. Stayed one night to catch a plane back to US the next morning. For this sole purpose, the location was perfect. However, from this hotel to central London or to get to any descent restaurant, it's too far. Hotel was clean and better than I expected from this level of hotel. This hotel was perfectly situated for our flights in and out of Heathrow. The room was comfortable and quiet, services and meals are available 24 hours, and there is a guest laundry. We had a comfortable night before our flight from Heathrow back home. It was a comfortable until the middle of the night when the air conditioning fan switched off and wouldn't turn on. We were disappointed that the hotel did not do anything about it at check out.

The Hotel was great and close to the airport, snd easy access to transportation to London. The pool and gym area were marvelous one of the best from the many hotels I have stayed at. I did do the buffet I ate Al la cart, but the food was great, and I also heard good reviews about the buffet. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location is good. Food was good. Lobby is the coldest, most unhospitable hotel lobby I have ever seen. However, staff was friendly.They charge a fee to shuttle you to the airport. and breakfast is not included in your rate. Room was clean and adequate. This is strictly an airport hotel, not a place to stay past one or two nights.

We stayed near the airport because we also rented a car for two day to drive to Stonhenge and Bath. The location is just minutes from the airport. Going into London it took a bus/subway combo and took about 1.5 hours. The bus stop was very close to the hotel and it went to the subway we need to ride into London. "Read phone charges before using. Otherwise super hotel."
It was our own fault for not checking before using the telephone but, the 1 call we made was very expensive. We stayed in other hotels during our stay and the same telephone call was a fraction of the price so we didn't bother to check before using it here and got a real shock when checking out. They also thought we had used the mini bar which we had […] not so, make sure you check out at the desk and review your bill. Otherwise it was a beautiful place to stay at a wonderful price. "lumpy beds"
after a day of traveling all you want is to fall into a comfortable bed, that was not the case here. The mattresses were very old and you could feel the coils. The cost of a dinner for two ended up being 115.00 dollars, par for the course in London, but the food was very good.

"Nærhet til Heathrow uten støy"
Overnattet her kun en natt for videre fly til USA. Tilgang til hotellet fra flyplassen med shuttlebuss (husk å kjøpe tur/retur) og problemfri innsjekking. Store rom og gode senger. Valgte ikke å kjøpe frokost på hotellet, men tok dette på flyplassen i stedet. Rask utsjekking med hyggelig betjening i resepsjonen.

Une bonne adresse pour passer une nuit de transit à Londres. L'hôtel est très comfortable et très calme, une navette vous amène de l'aéroport et vous y ramène. Très bon petit déjeuner buffet.
