We had 4 people with 2 double rooms. One room is very small but the boss(I guess) promised us that he will adjust another bigger room for us because we will stay for 6 nights. Luckily we got it in the next day when we back to hotel. Everything in hotel seems not too far as we expected. Of course you can't treat it as a modern hotel but it's enough for us for what you paid in London. The location is great. It takes around 10 mins slow walk to Paddington train station/underground. Convenience is better than anything. The breakfast is also not bad but I strongly suggest don't order continental breakfast. English breakfast is good and the quantity is enough for us. Even though we asked more toast sometimes, they were willing to offer. Orchard hotel gave us 6 good sleeping nights during our stay in London. We are willing to recommend it to others if you have budget control.

"Great hotel"
We stayed here for 2 nights executive room. We paid for room with breakfast and with access to the executive lounge. I was an excellent deal. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety. The executive lounge offered free drinks, coffee, and snaks. We would grab coffee after breakfast and head out for our day. Come in late after a long day, hit the […] lounge for some drinks and a snack then off to bed or the pool. We ate at a very good Italian restraint down the road from the hotel. Real Italian, it was amazing. Late our second night we ordered pizza n a white chocolate cheese cake that was also amazing. The staff was very nice and very informative. The only thing keeping this hotel from getting all 5s is that it is kinda out of the way. It is north west of everything. I kinda liked that. They are a five min walk from the tube so no biggie there. I would stay there again knowing what I know. "Marriott Hotel Maida Vale- So So"
I've stayed at many Marriotts across the world and the London Marriott Maida Vale was just so so for the price. The lobby and restaurant are of Marriott standard but the quality of the room, bed, etc was not. Central London is just a bus ride away but I would recommend other hotels in the city, perhaps in Trafalgar square.

Very close to Tube, shopping, restaurants and ATM. Only 15 minutes to Piccadilly. Very nice hotel, bar served good food and rooms were nice. Parking was helpful. Neighborhood safe, but not much to look at.

This hotel is amongst the most comfortable I have ever stayed in. The wonderfully soft pillows changed my mind about soft v firm pillows and the soft , fluffy towels were a delight to use. The hotel is fine as it goes, but is no better equipped than a Premier Inn for example. We had a problem with the first room, the bathroom lights didn't work. "Hotel near Abbey road"
We liked this hotel, and would have loved to stay for more than one night, but we were flying out. The pool and sauna and steam room were a big hit with my children. It was a bit hard to find at first, but it was marked nicely, and we got there. The restaurant had excellent service, but for the price the food was not great, but passable.... Nice neighborhood, […] but the tube was not functioning within walking distance, so we did some busing-which we love in london.. "Excellent location"
Great hotel with friendly staff. Parking easy even with a large car. Only a 5 minute walk to Bakerloo Line of Underground so straight shot to most of London's sites. Staff were even able to get us theater tickets to Love Never Dies!!

I stayed here on a family trip to London. Staff were very friendly and helped me with a tour booking and consulting my emails. The room was very comfortable. Tube station and buses nearby.
We were happy to stay at the Marriott Maida Vale. Staff were courteous and extremely helpful. We kept losing things and they kept returning them to us, nothing was ever missing. Quality of food served at the Hemia Bar was not great. Sunday nights the Fratelli Restaurant is closed so basically one has no option especially when it's snowing as was the […] case during our stay. "Great hotel for the price!"
This was a very nice, "Americanized" hotel, in a decent location. I think that there were things to do around the hotel, but we ended up taking the tube to go down to Picadilly quite a bit. Some decent places to eat around the hotel (classical English food). Rooms were nice and large, by English standards. Excellent staff, very helpful!

Overall- good experience, good price for London, hotel in pretty good shape. Positives- friendly, helpful staff at normal Marriott standard. Rooms were decent sized for EU standards (smaller than US hotel rooms). Location is 5-minute walk to tube, neighborhood is pretty quiet (though not scenic). Negatives- Parking is expensive, even for UK (£28/night), […] with no other options nearby. No good place to park and unload bags/check-in (definitely catered to people arriving by taxi). Bathroom could have used a refurbish as there were a few maintenence things that would have been nice. The reviews here are accurate. It isn't the Dorchester, but it is pretty good for the price. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly, the beds comfortable (not dreambeds like US marriotts). The nearest tube line isn't the most convenient for getting around town (you'll need to change somewhere in the city to go anywhere useful), but it is still pretty close to town that you're not riding forever. We lived in london for 2 years and know our way around. This was a good location in general. We found this hotel great for us. Conveniant, & compfy. Good food was close by. We used the grocery store down the street for a fast breakfest to go & soft drinks for our room. "Too far away"
This was normal Marriot hotel with the quality that you would normally get from a Marriot. The problem is that it was too far away from the train station (we came from Amsterdam) to take a taxi and when we took the train we had to walk about 3 blocks to the hotel. Also had to pay for wi-fi in your room.

If you're looking for a hotel to function as a base for sightseeting in London, this is a good choice. You're five minutes' walk from a zone 2 Tube station, and there's secure parking under the hotel - quite an important feature and not as common as it should be. I had called the hotel before we arrived to ask about getting a bed for our 13-year-old son. When we checked in, the staff brought a roll-away right away for him. We arrived the hotel at 3 pm, and hoped to get a room quite soon. The room wasn't ready, and we told them that we would sit and wait in the hotel bar. After an hour we asked if the room was ready, but it still wasn't. We waited 40 minutes more before we got a room. When they know we are waiting, with two children, one should think that it was possible […] to give us a room in less than 100 minutes....specially so late in the afternoon. Excellent value hotel accomodation - provided you have things to do in that part of London, or don't mind spending approx 20 minutes getting into Oxford Circus by cab, bus or tube. This Hotel is a Marriott, which speaks for itself. The rooms are great and comfortable. The staff was incredible and helpful in making reservations and giving directions and recommendations. Bra hotell med trevlig personal! Synd bara att det strulade med frukosten.Enligt Hotels.com så ingick frukosten, men den informationen hade inte hotellet. Allt löste sig ändå, men strulet kunde vi varit utan. Väldigt bra concierge som fixade allt från tips till biljetter! Väljer gärna hotellet nästa gång vi är i London!
