Grand Plaza Hotel Branson - Бренсон

Beds are really firm, not that great of beds for the comfort, but theres hardly a hotel for that. All in all a great place to stay. It is in a great spot to get anywhere in Branson. And the hotel breakfast is good, and the hotel overall is a great one for staying and for families.

Slow elevators, limited parking not on a steep slope made for tough access. Great breakfast buffet.

Housekeeping just could not get it right...3 people means 3 sets of towels and they don't really clean your room unless fixing the bed is called cleaning. Breakfast was just o.k.(Bacon anyone) Hotel needs to be upgraded.

Overall, it is a good place to stay. You can tell it is an older hotel, but everything was clean and looked nice. The breakfast display is awesome. Location is great and it was very easy to get around.

Praises: The front desk staff was very nice. Check-in was quick and easy, as was checkout. Can't beat the location (with a pretty decent view), and having free We-Fi in the room was great. The hotel was nice - location was good - hot breakfast was good. The pool area was crowded and loud (since it is indoors there is really nothing that could be done about it). The hottub had lot of foam floating on top which kept me out of it. And the pool seemed to be over treated with chlorine. Again, a common "problem" with public pools. Mostly very nice. I had a hard time controlling air conditioner. Also, I wish there was a comforter instead of just sheets and blanket.

Arrived at hotel and check-in was smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a room with 2 queen beds. The room was tiny. Only a path at the foot of the beds and between beds. Room was clean. They serve a hot breakfast but it was gross. Dried out or cold. It is a nice hotel to stay at but I could only handle one night.

The only negative was the lack of adequate venting in the bathroom resulting with complete fogging of mirror when showering.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. Beautifully decorated exceptionally clean I would the contental breakfast as more of a buffet breakfast The food is delicious. The hotel is perfectly located we were able to walk to the sites we wanted to see. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel was clean and the bed comfy. The room was showing a little wear around the edges, but overall very acceptable. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful; full, clean and well attended to by friendly and courteous staff.

Hotel was clean and in a great location! Had An impressive breakfast pretty much anything u could want. Bought in advance and couldn't have asked for a better deal. Would recommend to any staying in the area!

HOTEL WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN. WHEN WE GOT TO ARE ROOM EVERYTHING WAS IN ORDER . THAT NIGHT AND IN THE EARLY MORNING WHEN PEOPLE STARTED USING WATER THE PIPE MADE SO MUCH NOISE YOU COULD NOT SLEEP.

Our room was nice and clean. Every staff member that we encountered at the hotel was nice & friendly. Breakfast was delicious and more than expected for the complimentary type. We have stayed here before and will stay here again!

Stayed here one night after finding it with a killer deal on Expedia. The room was fine and did the job. I'm pretty sure my son and I were the only people staying there under the age of 60. From the decor and ambiance, it's clear they cater to the older Branson set. The front desk guys were less than helpful. When I tried to explain I already had […] a reservation through Expedia, the first guy STILL tried to charge me the regular rate. Same with is colleague. Only after threatening to leave did they make an attempt to find the reservation and check us in. The best part? Dial soap dispensers in the bathroom!!! This is such a welcome addition. I would stay here again based on this alone. Seriously. (Why cant other hotels do this? how do they expect us to wash hands after using the bathroom - by using the 'face soap' after trying to unwrap the stubborn packaging? They also had easy to access plugins for our electronics charging. The wifi was decent, and seemed to keep connected while i was using it. One other nice thing- the vending machines. Bottles of pop were $1.25! Amazing! Other than the less than pleasant desk clerks, and the funky smell, it was a fine place to crash for a night. Читати далі

Had to work late and nearly ruined anniversary getaway til manager surprised us with room upgrade. Service was so welcoming. Loved the apples at check in:). Only complaint- walls seemed very thin. The good points: quiet room, better than average breakfast buffet, friendly service. The negative points: further than expected and mostly uphill from the main strip making walking difficult, the bathrooms had no fan/vent. Great location within walking of Andy Williams Theatre- but it is not on noisy 76 so it is quiet. All good here including the comp. breakfast.

Our rooms were nice and clean. The complimentary breakfast was OK keeping in mind it was free. Hotel was located about two blocks off main strip in a quiet area it was nice. Our only complaint was the bed was hard so we got very little sleep the first night. Using the Jacuzzi before bed helps!!

Had a wonderful experience at the hotel. There is only 2 opinions i have. 1. The Jacuzzi tubes drain did not work properly. 2 the breakfast had a much bigger variety but the taste was not all that well. Everything else was wounderful. Had a beautiful time with my wife

Everything was good, the breakfast, the room but the one elevator wasn't working for several days and that was really a problem only having one elevator. Some people were leaving and some going to the 9th floor for breakfast and only 1 elevator!! The other thing is the parking lot is on a big hill so you have to be in pretty good shape to climb to the […] hotel. They also really need a ramp for elderly to get their suitcases up to the hotel. Only 1 elevator of 2 was functional. When in a tall hotel, those become important. Not sure 2 elevators is really enough for the amount of people that could be there at one time. Free breakfast is on the 9th floor. So, you can imagine the elevator backup during the morning hours. Very hard to get luggage up/down when elevators are always full. They […] did open the freight elevator for us, but it was on the far end of the hall and would not go to the restaurant floor. The parking lot that is on the 1st level is very small. Once it's full, you have to park at various levels downhill and hike up steps to get into the hotel. Carpet was wet around the window, as if it had leaked recently. Air conditoner made enough noise to awaken you, when it kicked-on during the night. Room was relatively clean. In-room jacuzzi tub was nice and functioned well. First day on arrival, I was assigned a room that had not been cleaned(6:30-pm). I was given a new room. However, my third day, after being out of the room all day-no one even touched the room-cleaning. Had to call front desk to asist. Day before leaving had a rain storm, entire upper window leaked. My last stay there.

We hope to go back to Branson and if we do if we get the discount rate like we did this time we will for sure stay in this hotel. The Mini King room was just what we needed especially for tv watching and just relaxing a little bit. We recommend this hotel.

We had a very nice time over our four day stay. We had breakfast 3 of the 4 mornings at the hotel. The breakfast was ok. There was a large selection but not the best I've ever had. One morning the food that was suppose to be hot was cold but the other two it was fine. We didn't use pool area so can't commit on that. VERY HILLY!!! Good exercise!!! But […] good location and we would definitely consider this hotel again when we go back. They hadn't dusted some of the furniture in quite some time but did the day before we left. Someone else had committed about when you first walk in it looks good but upon closer inspection there was just small details that they overlooked that would have made it great like dusting all the furniture every day.
