good area very good location high in prices in second day stay considering no breakfast but what to do eat out pay more

The Royal Court Hotel is a nice hotel to base out of while visiting Rome. Clean, quiet side street in the Termini area. This is the safer side of the station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our stay at the Royal Court Hotel was safe and pleasant. The hotel its located within minutes of the train and bus station. Walking distance to restaurants. Not far from the Coliseum and shopping. There was always someone at the front desk to assist with questions. Miss Sievie always greatest us with a smile, helped out with great suggestions on where […] to eat and how to pan our day for sight seeing. If we get to go back I will differently stay there again. The Royal Court is located in a safe neighborhood that is walking distance to Central Station (and the Metro). Room was fine and very clean. Reception staff truly excellent -- even noticed it was my birthday! Good value for the money.

Maybe it was just the brand of beds but they were too hard to sleep comfortably. Everything else worked fine for my family of 4 kids, wife and I. The proximity to Termini metro station, grocery store, ATM all worked out for a family on a low budget. Be warned though...breakfast is not included and it also costs lots of euros per person including small […] children! Staff was nice and helpful. The rooms are small, so they feel a bit crowded at times. Room looked nice, but it was mostly superficial. Windows were very old. One was broken and wouldn't close completely. The biggest star about this hotel was it's proximity to the Roma Termini train station, and ease of finding it. That being said, it was also clean and comfortable (we had a quad room for a family, for two nights). The staff was very pleasant and helpful for general information about tourist sites, Metro stops, and arranged an airport ride for us. A few minutes walk from Termini, very clean, nice- we stayed with 3 very young children, when the reservation stated 2, and they were fine with it. Do leave time to check out, we did not plan on it and were almost late for the train.

Great hotel 3 blocks from train station/bus/metro. Beautiful hotel with great staff. Only complaint was that the bed was sooooo hard!

The rooms were very nice, and clean, but the staff at the front desk was very curt. Rude really. This is a very convenient hotel near the main station in Rome, it takes about 5 minutes to walk. It’s also handy for the Bus & Metro terminals and at about €4 you can travel all day around this wonderful City. The rooms are comfortable and cater for basic needs. Downside, the Breakfasts are additional and expensive, not surprising but no tea or coffee […] facilities and they do not provide evening meals, however there are many restaurants nearby. This hotel is perfectly located in the neighborhood of the Termini Station. It is about a 5 minute walk, and close to the railway station, shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful, and the room looked wonderful, no complaints about our stay. Definitely would stay again if I go back to Rome again.

Truly enjoyed our stay at this cozy hotel. The staff was outstanding and very helpful. The upaise was a bit of a downside. Being this close to the Roma Termini meant easy access. That also meant not the best surrounding. Frankly not a huge issue. But writing it so you are mentally prepared.

The hotel may not be as close as you want it in the center of Rome but it is very close to the train station and just a couple of minutes walk to the Metro line. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful though for the rate of the room breakfast should have been included. Wifi is so fast and works perfectly well. The room was clean, air-conditioning worked great, the hotel was only 2.5 blocks from train station. Staff was pleasant, allowed us to check-in early, which was great considering a long train ride from Paris. Breakfast was not included "15 Euros / person"! No coffee or tea in room. The rooms are extremely small and the staff are rude so i wont advise anyone to use this hotel and make the same mistake i made

Wife and I need a room in Rome for 1 night in Rome. We chose it for proximity to the main Train station. We booked a standard double room but room was really tight for two people. There was only room to open one suitcase and we had to push the table with TV on it aside to make room for the 2nd one. The 'double' bed was also smallest double bed compared […] to all the other hotels we stayed at throughout Italy. Our room was on the first floor so we had access to the little terrace/garden which was nice to chill in after a long day out in Rome. The bathroom clean with a good shower. The location was great b/c the station was so close which made getting around Rome a breeze. I cant recommend this hotel because I question their honesty and trustworthiness. I know I left a pair of shorts in the bathroom behind the door and I called them within 2-3 hours of leaving the hotel from the airport asking them to mail it out to me and they claimed that there was nothing left in the room. We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Court Hotel. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The staff was friendly, helpful and went the extra mile. This was an unbeleivable value and very close to the main train station.

The double room assigned to us was too small for two persons with luggage; we had barely some space to walk around the bed let alone open a suitcase. The state & cleanliness of the bathroom were average. Though near stazione Termini, on the east side, which is very practical to take public transportation; it is recommended to choose a hotel on the west […] side of the station for those traveling by plane because the train for the Airport stops @ platform 28 which is 15 minutes walk from the east entrance. One of few hotels were rooms actually resemble those shown in pictures on the hotel website. Courteous and helpful staff, large and clean rooms and the location is in downtown Rome. A sweet deal!

Great hotel - close to the train station but in a comfortable and safe area. Truly a great location as it allows you to easily get back to the hotel for an afternoon siesta or to take a break from the Roman sun! Leaving for the airport was easy as you are a five minute walk back down to the train station. I was worried about staying near the train station […] but the street is residential and safe and comfortable - it was no issue at all. The staff was very friendly and they are constantly cleaning everything! The hotel was in beautiful condition and clean. Relaxing little courtyard to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine. Good location near Termini train/metro station, which is the central station in Rome. Room was a bit smaller than I expected for a European 4-star hotel, but it was clean. The bed was very small (slightly larger than a twin, but not quite a full) and the mattress is your typical cheap hard mattress. Pillows are cheap and flat, below standard even for […] a 2-star hotel. Room does have a full bath, which is a rarity amongst European hotels. However, the full bath has a stupid half-way swinging glass instead of a normal full curtain. The glass piece is too small to actually block the splashes from your shower so you end up with a very wet and slippery bathroom floor once you're done. Bathroom also has bidet, but this one has a stupid design that does NOT have an aimable spout. Instead, water comes out of the holes in the bidet itself. There are 4 holes where the water comes out from the bidet to spray your behind, but the hot water comes out from the left 2 holes and cold water comes out of the right 2 holes. So you end up with half of your butt greeted with super hot water and the other half of your butt gets icy cold water. It's the dumbest design I've ever seen in a bidet. In addition, because the holes are in the bidet itself, you cannot adjust the angle of the water that comes out. The water sprays downward in an arc and if your butt is slightly big, you won't be able to get the water to hit the crucial spot where you need the water to clean. Anyhow, suffice to say that this hotel has never used any of the facilities that it has installed in the rooms. They do have great, friendly people at the front desk but that doesn't change the room amenities. Читати далі

Location is very close to the central train and bus station in Rome. The hotel is a quiet boutique style hotel offering free internet, but no free breakfast. Breakfast is available but at a cost of 15 euros each. No tea or coffee facilities in room. The beds are very hard, but were changed when requeted. Again still a litle hard, but better.

Having never been to Rome before myself and my sister were looking for a hotel that was close to Termini station so we could easily hop on and off the metro. The Royal Court Hotel was a less than 5 minute walk from the station down a very safe and populated street. The hotel itself was gorgeous and our room was the nicest of our stay in Europe. The staff was always very accommodating, polite and helpful. Our flight out of Rome left after check-out time and the staff allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel so we could sight see in the morning, and then come back to pick up our bags before heading to the airport. Room was small and bed was very stiff and uncomfortable. We woke up with back and neck aches every morning. Other than that, everything was great. Awesome location! Aloja 4 personas, 4 camas individuales, en un espacio muy reducido. No debería ofrecer habitaciones cuádruples con el tamaño de habitación del que dispone. No existe espacio para moverse, ni tampoco sitio físico para abrir el equipaje de estas 4 personas. El armario, con 4 perchas, no cumple su objetivo.

Godt lydisolert soverom og sentral beliggenhet nær Termini (gangavstand). Lite trafikk utenfor selve hotellet noe som bidrar til at det er stille. Det har det man trenger WLAN osv. For dem med store kofferter blir sikkert soverommet noe trangt.

Overall very nice place. Surrounding is a bit disorganized but the hotel itself is great. Furniture is interesting. Great location with about 5 minutes walk to the Termini and 30 minutes walk to the Colosseum.

Hotellet ligger nær jernbanen Roma Termini og Metroen, men det er lite trafikk rett ved og soverommet er godt støyisolert slik det fremtrer som stille og rolig. Badet er gammeldags, men rent og godt vedlikeholdt og har de fleste fasiliteter man forventer. Gratis internett, sikkerhetsaktivert og med kode. Selve soverommet er nytt/godt vedlikeholdt. Frokost/city […] tax ikke inkludert, men hadde moderat pris. Air condition med god kapasitet, men kunne vært enklere å regulere. Det eneste ankepunkter er at soverommet er noe trangt og der er vanskelig å plasser kofferten spesielt dersom man har stor koffert. Читати далі

Hotellet helt OK

Quick booking. They seemed to be well informed and eager to do a good job. Not overly friendly, but correct and pleasent treatment, despite late arrival and messy preparation on my part. Breakfast is probably not worth the money, though. But the price for one night was also very reasonable compared to other offers.

The hotel was all right, the room was spacious and the bathtub was good. However, we were in a 4 person room and 2 of the beds were cots that were way too soft. Also the internet connection was not good enough, we were always disconnecting which was quite annoying. It was therefore way too expensive compared to the quality.

Buon hotel, ottima posizione,personale molto cortese e disponibile, ma problemi con l'aria condizionata, impianto un po' datato.

Et litt slitent hotell med veldig harde madrasser. Reklamerte med trådløst nettverk, men dette fungerte ikke i det hele tatt, til tross for flere henvendelser til betjeningen. Betjeningen var stort sett hyggelig. Litt stusselig spisesal nede i kjelleren, uten et eneste vindu.

Très bel hôtel situé à 5min à pied de la gare Termini et du metro. Chambre et sdb très propre et au calme. Petit-déjeuner formidable avec fruit frais et patisseries italienne. Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour.

Pænt hotel. Venlig og imødekommende betjening. Hotellet har en central beliggenhed i går afstand til de største seværdigheder. Værelse til fire voksne personer, havde en ok størrelse. Gårdhaven kunne benyttes frit til egen medbragte morgenmad eller til aftenhygge! Kan helt klart anbefales.

Supert hotell til bra pris. Hyggelig innredet i italiensk stil og bra størrelse. Kun 2 min fra togstasjonen. Anbefales :)

Al mio arrivo la camera prenotata non c'era, mi hanno mandato in un altro hotel (convenzionato) che a sua volta mi ha dato una camera in una sua dislocazione in un palazzo piuttosto mal ridotto. Per colazione sono dovuto tornare con la mia valigia nel corpo centrale dell'hotel. Decent enough Hotel with nice, reasonably clean old-fashioned style rooms in red and gold. Our room faced a small, dark courtyard som there was no view, but on the other hand no noise from the street either, which I definately prefer. There was no noise from other rooms either.
