The quality of the hotel was ok. The entry and dining were the best part of this hotel. The room had a smell and the condition of the bathroom was not very well maintained. The hotel is grand the staff are friendly just they have a big stupid sign to keep you awake at night Glad I had somewhere else booked for the rest of my stay .plus the windows are not very sound proof so you can hear the local bar man fight with his customers trust me don't go into the local pub across the road as he'll whip the money from your hand […] and sneer at you plus seen him go mad with some danish kid who nearly ended up in tears for knocking something over. otherwise enjoy Prague Читати далі

Quality hotel at a great price. it's about a 15minute walk to the centre and very close to Flora shopping centre. Good value

3 Crowns was pretty good for the price; but I was not impressed with the room; it's cleanliness, and lack of wifi in the room itself. it's 2012, get wifi in each room, not just the lobby and bar. also, the elevator wasn't working; which is not a big deal; but i saw no attempt to fix it during my stay. not acceptable.

this hotel was very nice and a great value. I thought the neighborhood was just fine - quiet and 3 tram stops from the city center - really easy any time of day / night. Free wifi in the room! Breakfast was included but a bit mediocre. Only bummer was the two twin beds pushed together (standard euro operation), but they had little frames around them […] so the crack in the middle of the bed was killer for me and my lady, definitely uncomfortable. Nice staffs in the hotel. Breakfast is very good. Location is rather far from the old town. We live in the top floor so the window is facing the sky.

The staff speaks good English, and are in general verz helpful! Only minus: Wireless Internet is not available in all the rooms (although you can use it in the lobby or in the nice little bar next to it!)

We had our family of 4 for a 2 night trip to Prague. We are military stationed in Germany. The Three Crowns was perfect for the price. ROOM - Our room (it was a Superior room) was clean and nice and recently updated--they looked brand new. Our only complaint is that the 2nd twin bed (we had a double and 2 twins) was a tad bit hard. There was tons of […] hot water, plenty of clean towels and nice linens. The staff was very nice and spoke perfect English. They exchange $ there if you need it and also arrange tours (we did not go on any). The wifi in the rooms was spotty, but was easily accessible in the lobby and restaurant. The rooms all have elevators which work well and quickly. The showers are very nice, very good water pressure and we didn't run out of hot water once. The rooms are also very warm and the temp can be regulated by a thermostat in the room. The bathroom floors are heated! This was a plus. There is a flat screen TV, but no English channels except for EuroSports. The plug-ins are 220. FOOD - The breakfast each morning was fantastic and consisted of coffee, cappucino, juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, jams, yogurt, cereal, croissants, meats and cheeses. The dining room area is also very nice. We did not eat dinner there, but it seemed to be reasonably priced. There is a bar where we sat and had a drink and it is very pleasant. Drinks are reasonably priced--our only disappointment was a glass of Baileys, the portion was very small. LOCATION - I had read some reviews that suggested it was a major pain to get downtown. This is not correct. It was very easy. You walk up a non-steep hill and turn the corner and go down 2 blocks. Total time it takes to walk to to the trolley is 7 minutes max. The trolley is an above ground train. You hop on Bus #9 (which comes every 5-6 minutes) and ride for about 8 minutes and you are at Wenceslas Square/New Town. ...there were two things that really bothered my family and I. First point. We actually drove to Prague from Germany so having "secure" parking was paramount for us. We discover that the Three Crowns Hotel only had SIX secure parking spaces, one of which was partially blocked with a support column and unusable. I may have missed something, but I honestly […] don't remember reading " VERY LIMITED secure parking" on the website, as that would've been great to know beforehand. Second point. While I appreciated the hotel rooms' contemporary styling, what I did NOT like was the fact that the bathroom "door" was simply translucent glass offering little to no privacy. All things considered though, I would still recommend the Three Crowns Hotel to others visiting Prague. Our stay was reasonably priced, the hotel rooms were clean and had a strong WiFI signal. The breakfast buffet was above average. The hotel staff was very helpful, and the hotel itself was situated in a VERY convenient location within Prague (only a short bus ride from the main sites). Very nice hotel in a neighborhood within walking distance to downtown. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff.

Very good standard for the price! I would stay there again.

The hotel is only one tram station away from the main railway station. The crew was kind and helpful. Our room was large enough, but some firends stayed in the top floor which is an attic with roof windows and smaller rooms for the same price. The hotel has a lovely little garden. Wifi was avalilable only in the lobby.

this is not a 4 star hotel, there is no internet in your room the hotel is over a bar and because there was no airconditioning we left our window open and was awake all night to the sounds of horrific screaming, the breakfast was great though

reception staff brillant, evening staff in restaurant not very friendly .. very difficult to get english breakfast tea .reception staff were refused tea for us from the staff from restauant even though we had paid for it in bar.. rooms are not as advertised.. towels had seen better days on the last day i got a fitlhy towel and torn towel , beds were […] not made up ..we were not the only one to complain about the towels we saw one guest insisting to see the manager ..no sign for step going in to bar Читати далі

Very Clean and comfortable. Nice buffet breakfast and pleasant staff. A little out of the way from the sights, but the trade-off is a quiet nights sleep. The tram to the sights is a short 5 blocks away.

The hotel is rather basic unless you go for high standart rooms which are very difficult to book on a short notice. Nevertheless we wanted to stay in that particular area of the city so we knew the neighbourghhood was nothing special and couldn't really complain about that. But be warned. The major problem of this hotel is however the game they play […] at check-in. It happened to me before a couple of times. Initially they give you a room on the top floor with roof window only and no internet access despite of the fact that they advertise free wifi internet across the hotel. However, the room was changed for a proper one with internet access the following day without problems. There is no blackout curtains though although the webpage says there are. The lobby bar is NOT open 24 hours. Be prepared to hear a rude answer that they are closed if you want to get a bite to eat or a drink after midnight. There are over 600 hotels in Prague so it seems funny to me to recommend one of them. Three Crowns was best offer I found and as transportation in Prague is so good and I only used hotel for sleeping it was best deal for me.

The hotel is nicely located and comfortable inside however some rooms are very loud because of the streets surrounding it. The inside part of the hotel is quiet and nice.

I got the Hotel at 50% off; if priced any higher, I would have been furious... -the bathroom smelled of urine and the bedroom smelled of curry -once changing rooms, at some reluctance by the front of house staff, the newly acquired room was clean -15min walk to Old Town, 5min taxi (all of which attempt to extort from your wallet, unless you happen to […] have a local Czech hire one for you!) -the hotel fron of house staff ordered a taxi on my behalf, which attempted to charge 200% of expected price and when refused, both taxi driver and one of hotel receptionists (I believe they were friends/associates) became hostile. The Three Crowns Hotel in Prague was an excellent place for me and my two amigos to stay during our adventure in Prague. Location is excellent and close to multiple metro stations. Staff is very friendly and helpful with all the needs of a "newbie" to the city. Best of all, the hotel was very reasonably priced. This is the place to stay in Prague.

We found the Three Crowns Hotel very conveniently located, with a short walk of about 25 minutes to the centre and very reasonably priced. The courtyard with ajoining bar was very nicely laid out, which was ideal for a beer after our long drive. The Hotel is in an ideal spot 30m off Wenceslas Square, making it easy to pick up supplies, meals, and cabs. The breakfast is truly exception and makes this hotel stand out from all others. On the downsides, the rooms are quite small and do not have desks. I had to do lots of work and was forced into the lobby bar. The business center does not have […] desks either (just one, occupied by a PC). That being said, the lobby bar is pleasant, and I was never interrupted. We recently had a 4 night stay at the Three Crowns Hotel in Prague. This was our first trip to the city. We had a very good deal on the price of a double room with ensuite bathroom (with bath) and breakfast and complimentary drink so we really didn't mind the 15 minute walk into the centre. there was no internet in the rooms, although it was specified online. The room with the internet cost extra. The clerk didn't want to help and change anything. I wasn't the only one who had this problem. The room was dirty - not the way it showed in the pictures.

Its a nice hotel, quite close to the main train station. It would be nice if the hotel website have clear directions as to how to get to the hotel

We stayed here for 3 nights in August and got an incredibly good deal - when we arrived we found that the catch was that building work was going on on the ground floor. However, with work only going on between 9 and 5, this didn't bother us too much. The breakfast was served in the hotel's restaraunt, the menu was slightly different each day and included meats, cheeses, juices, breads, cerals, pastries and more. Very friendly staff. As I said, the kitchen packed me a breakfast for early checkout.

This was a good place to stay in Prague. Easy walk to the main train station (15mins) and not far from a tram stop. Great breakfast. Most staff were excellent, however there was one guy working reception while we were there, that was hopeless! Internet was inconsistent, but when it did work it was very fast. If you are in the building across the road […] you do not get internet in the rooms. We ate dinner in the restaurant one of the nights we were there and it was good. We would stay here again.
