This is a quiet hotel in more ways than one. The neighbourhood is completely quiet at night, and also hotel is entirely unpretentious. However, the lack of pretense did not mean a lack of service. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the staff members were helpful. The hotel also offered a free internet usage at a computer in the lobby. […] No 15 pound charge just to check your email. The only possible drawback was that quiet neighbourhood at night. The hotel is only steps away from the Scottish Parliament and the Queen's residence at Holyrood Palace, but needless to say, the Queen resides in a quiet part of town. This hotel apartment hotel is outstanding! Most important, the staff at the main desk is consistently courteous, helpful, and will go beyond any reasonable effort to make sure their guests are satisfied. Ask for Chrissie and Kerrie specifically - they are the best of the best.

This hotel was spacious for the price and centrally located. Furnishings were basic but everything was clean! Loved the 2br apt. My sister and I each had our own bath and BR, it was great. LR Kitchen and DR was cute. Could use more TV channels and the little washer didnt work so great, but was ok in a pinch!

A weird mix of long term guests and travelers but wonderful on all other counts. If you sometimes feel while traveling that you are stuck in a one-room prison - these efficiencies are perfect. And Blair, the manager, was incredibly accommodating - he supplied us with some unexpected assistance at no charge.

Kitchenette, living room, beds, bath - all clean and spacious. So much more than a one room hotel that would have you falling all over each other. Blair is the best and his staff is fantastic. I will recommend to anyone thinking of trekking north of Leeds.

Holyroad aparthotel was a very nice and best place to stay. 10 mins walk from the Waverley station and 5 mins form the main market. I recommend other people to stay here.

We hadatwo bedroom suite (apartment)for a week. The hotel employees were very helpful and friendly. They went out of their way when we were trying to fing out what happened to a package we had shipped from the US. Would recommend this hotel and will stay again.

My 2 sons and i stayed and found this to be a comfortable place, reasonably priced and in a good location just steps of the royal mile, but is hard to find if coming by car- which we were.

The Aparthotel was incredibly comfortable. The room was quiet, and clean. It was perfect for families, as the kids had their own space and we had ours. It was close to everything. The breakfast basket was delightful!

If you get the chance, this is the place to stay. This apartment is large, comfortable, well taken care of, and staff is wonderful. It is in an ideal location. You couldn't get better for your money.

Holyrood Aparthotel is convenient to Royal Mile and a quick walk to hike up to Arthurs Seat. Walking from Train Station is easier if you follow shortcuts through closes(alleys). Staff very helpful and polite.

We walked in and were amazed that we had 4 separate rooms! Two bedrooms, which was great traveling with our 23 yr old daughter. We also had our own bathrooms, and a separate living area with TV. The washer/dryer was a pleasant surprise, as was the basket of goodies. Off the Royal Mile just a few steps meant we were close enough without the street noise. […] I highly recommend it. This is a modern friendly place to stay. We arrived by car during what could only be described as a deluge. We found the covered parking area under the hotel very easily due to Sat Nav. The very pollite receptionist booked us in and took us up to our apartment showing us the two bedrooms, bathroom, Lounge diner and Kitchen area explaining the basics. […] The rooms are modern and well equiped with all you would need for a weeks stay. Awaiting our arrival was a Hamper big enough to feed four for a week (just the two of us). We were both happy for our first ever stay in a hotel apartment and would defently be going back again. We had booked the hotel for two days and due to a change of plans I told my wife we should add another day ..she wanted to stay one night to judge the place.. after the initial TOUR she told them to add another day..

Clean, friendly, roomy, centrally located. Great.

Hôtel agréable avec du confort...Le personnel est accueillant....Les chambres sont bien équipées....

É muito completo e confortável. A localização faz ser possível a ir ao Castelo de Edimburgo e ao Museu Nacional, duas atrações imperdíveis, à pé. Fiquei sozinho num apto com 2 quartos e 2 banheiros. Poderia ter dividido tranquilamente com outro colega que estava junto. Fica, portanto, a dica.

Bra beliggenhet!!! Vi hadde en 2 romsleilighet, med to bad. Leiligheten var utstyrt med alt vi trengte. Vil helt klart bo her neste gang jeg er i Edinburgh.

Het appartement was uitstekend en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ligt een straat achter de Royal Mile, dus prima lopend te doen naar het centrum. Ontbijt/diner mogelijkheden genoeg, ook dichtbij het appartement, als je zelf geen zin hebt om te koken. Als je van natuur en wandelen houdt, is Holyrood Park, met als top Arthur's Seat (251 mtr.) in de naaste […] omgeving van het appartement zeker een aanrader. Читати далі

Très bon hôtel, chambres bien équipées, très confortable, très propre. Situé à 2 pas du palais de Holyrood et du parlement (visite gratuite!). Seul point faible : le bruit car j'étais au rez-de-chaussée, près de l'accueil et les voyageurs qui arrivent en pleine nuit ne se sont pas préoccupé du bruit qu'ils faisaient. Very nice hotel, well furnished […] rooms, very comfy, very clean. Close to the Holyrood Palace and to the Parliament (free visit!). The only weak point: noise because I was next to the reception desk and that people who arrived by night did not think about the noise they were making. Читати далі

Vi dro på venninnetur til Edinburgh, og valgte oss leilighetshotell siden vi skulle være der i en hel uke. Da vi kom ble vi møtt av en hyggelig jente i resepsjonen, som ga oss rommet vårt. Vi fikk rom i 1 etasje, altså etasjen under resepsjonen. Vi hadde bestilt et rom med ett soverom, oppholdsrom og kjøkken + to bad, men vi fikk bare ett bad. Det […] gjor ingenting, egentlig. Rommet vårt lå i høyde med gata, så det var litt ekkelt i begynnelsen. Stuepiken pleide å la vinduet stå åpent, slik at man enkelt kunne stukket hånda inn og besøkt oss mens vi var ute. Kjøkkenet hadde både oppvaskmaskin, mikro, vaskemaskin, ovn, godt romslig kjøleskap osv, alt man trenger for en uke i skottland! Vi er kjempefornøyd alt i alt, bortsett fra senga. Den var veeeldig hard! Kan hende de har mykere senger på andre rom, men vår var som stein. Ble vant til det ettersom dagene gikk, men skulle helst ha ønsket den var mykere. Stuepikene var veldig flinke, badet og kjøkkenet var som nytt når de hadde vært der. Se bort ifra at når vi hadde grist noe i sengen, ble det ikke byttet før noen dager senere, etter at vi hadde "lagt fram" der vi hadde grisa. Og det var ikke lite, så dette burde de ha sett.. Parkettgulvet i oppholdsrom/soverom tror jeg aldri ble vasket iløpet av den tiden vi var der. En annen minus var at det var veldig dårlig isolert. Vi kunne høre de ovenfor og vegg i vegg med oss veldig godt, og det var ikke så morsomt klokka 08 på morningen, eller seent på kvelden. Det ligger en Tesco butikk rett rundt hjørnet av hotellet, hvor vi handlet inn alt vi trengte av mat og drikke + andre ting. Det var veldig greit! Vi brukte ca 10-15 minutt til Princes street, og ca 5 minutter til Royal Mile. Veldig sentralt og veldig bra hotell, alt i alt:) Читати далі

Vi havde en fantastisk oplevelse på Holyrood Aparthotel - det ligger helt perfekt lige ved "the Royal Mile" og Holyrood Palace. Hotellet var meget rent, rummeligt og udstyret med alt, hvad man har brug for. Det er et meget stille nabolag, hvilket var endnu en bonus, og alligevel tæt på det hele. Hotellet ligger ca. 10 minutters gang fra stationen. Vi […] kan varmt anbefale et ophold her, hvis man ønsker et sted, hvor man er tæt på kultur og skønne bygninger. Читати далі

L'appartement 2 pièces (que j'ai loué) était très grand : deux grande chambres, deux salles de bain, un slaon/cuisine ! Tout est grand confort, tout est neuf et propre. Seul hic : la réception. Je voulais connaitre le bus nous amenant à l'aéroport, la personne de la réception n'a pas su nous répondre (un comble tout de même) et n'a même pas daigné […] chercher sur internet. Читати далі

Muy bien en todos los aspectos, a 50 metros escasos de la milla real. Por poner algo en contra... son muy agobiantes las puertas, que hay muchas y todas con muelle para que se cierren, pero supongo que son medidas anti incendios.

God beliggendhed. Rent og komfortabelt værelse. Fint køkken og bad. Rigtig godt til prisen. Kan anbefales.

El único problema que tuve fue con la conexión WI-FI a internet, funcionaba muy muy mal, y es un problema importante dependiendo de las circunstancias. Todo lo demás muy bien, localización, habitación, etc.

Este aparthotel é ideal para quem viaja com crianças pequenas. Limpo, confortável, e não muito longe das principais atracções de Edinburgo, embora se um adulto perfaz a distancia facilmente, uma criança pequena não, mas existem autocarros perto. O unico senão é a ausencia de pequeno almoço e, ao contrario do que aparece escrito nos comentários, o hotel […] NÃO fornece comida nos apartamentos, salvo indicação (e pagamento) em contrário). Man erreicht zu Fuss gut die Innenstadt, Royal Mile liegt gerade um die Ecke. Hotel ist am Wochenende sehr ruhig, da es an keiner grossen Strasse liegt. Am Montagmorgen dagegen war es sehr laut, viele Lastwagen, die Waren lieferten, Glas abholten. Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet. Bad und Küche scheinen sehr neu zu sein. Todos los comentarios que había leído eran muy buenos y en general no me decepcionó, pero también tiene unos cuantos fallos. Para mí lo peor fue una de las camas que tenía un colchón bastante viejo y realmente te hundías. Complicados los sistemas para encender todo... por ejemplo para que te salga agua de la ducha tienes que apretar un interruptor rojo […] que está fuera del baño y el primer día nos volvíamos locos hasta que descubrimos como funcionaba la ducha. Además viajamos con un inglés muy deficiente y en recepción no hablan ni una palabra de español ni hacen por entenderte ( no digo que no sean amables). El autobús nº 35 que viene del aeropuerto te deja al lado del hotel, sólo cruzar la calle y meterte por un callejón, que deberían reseñarte en un mapa cual es. Nosotros no lo sabíamos y dimos toda la vuelta al Parlamento con las maletas buscando el Hotel. Читати далі

Unser Apartment hatte zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder und ein Wohnzimmer mit komplett ausgestatteter Küche. Das ist natürlich ideal für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Teenager. Jeder hatte Platz und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und 100 m weiter war ein Supermarkt. An der Rezeption konnte man DVDs ausleihen. Somit war auch der Abend […] gerettet. Jeden Tag wurde sauber gemacht und die Betten gemacht. Es war wie ein Hotel, nur viel mehr Platz. Zwei Dinge fanden wir nicht so gut: 1. Das Hotel war sehr schwer zu finden, da es zwischen zwei Straßen lag und 2. der Holzboden im Wohnzimmer hat schrecklich geknarrt und die Leute unter uns haben mir leid getan. Читати далі
