Best Western Hotel Rivoli - Рим

I just loved my stay there. The hotel was a little bit far away from the main attractions but there was convenient transportation. Buy Roma Pass and take bus 910 from Termini Station to get to the hotel.

The shower made no sense what so ever. It was really hot or cold and there was no shower curtain. We basically had a waterfall in the bathroom. Other than that, it is close to a bus stop, a little ways out of town so you avoid the crazy traffic. Kind of a pain to get to if you ride the bus, sometimes the buses took forever. Close to transport for central Rome and activities. Clean room and large bathroom. If book Hotels.com and Balcony included - don't always expect to get one. No self laundry mat facilities anywhere near hotel.

A little bit far from public transport unless you get to know the busses, in which case there is a bus stop very close by. Very tastefully decorated inside, nice rooms, nice staff. A good hotel if you're not daunted by having to find your way around and the staff are very helpful. Nice breakfast.

Hotel Rivoli is situated on a very small (read: smaller than average) side street near the Boghese Gardens in Rome. It is well maintained, with outside spaces, and lovely little balconies. We were in town for a funeral, and this suited our needs perfectly. A few blocks walk to the tram to take you to Vatican City, and the area seemed very nice, clean […] and safe. The room was fine--we chose a triple, with a king bed and a roll-away. The bed was very hard, and left both hubby and I with sore backs, but that could also be attributed to jetlag. Our room was on the 5th floor, so the lift only takes you to 4 and then a flight of stairs. There is Wi-Fi service free--however it does time out after 30min and was a bit of a pain to connect to with my iPhone. My husband had no problems however, excepting the time out issues. The bathroom was clean, albeit small. The shower ran hot and cold, there was no happy medium, I was either shivering or scalded. Only shower gel was provided, no shampoo or conditioner. All that said, we would probably stay here again as the price was perfect for us on our budget, it was clean, the staff was polite and breakfast (a full breakfast) was included. Читати далі

I have stayed at many hotels in Rome and this was the best, with amazing value for the money. The front desk staff were more than helpful and spoke wonderful english. They provided me with maps, bus routes, and directions with time estimates to all the major destinations. The hotel was nice, the beds were comortable and the braeakfast was good. The hotell-staff were helpfull. Over all a good place to stay. The only thing is you have to be prepared to take a taxi or a bus to go to the city centre because of the location.

This was our second stay and that was 2 years ago and to our surprise when we checked in they remembered us from our last stay. Highly recommend this hotel, young girl at Reception named Mania was very kind. Mania took the time to explain how to use the Rome buses instead of using taxis. When she realized that we were leaving early in the morning, she had a paper bag breakfast waiting for us to take to the airport.

We arrived at hotel from airport in 30 minutes. Outside center so taxi is by meter not flat rate. It was only a few euro more than center. If you don't mind walking, the location is not bad. It is 2km from center by walking, but roads can be confusing. There is a bus only 1 block away can walk it in the time it takes to wait for it. As far as facilities, […] the hotel is nice. Nice decor and mostly updated. Small elevator like most in Europe. Room was very nice with large bathroom and balcony with table and chairs. Roll shutters are electric and keep room cool and secure in summer. Bed were good as was AC. Breakfast area was a little cramped, but food was very good and they had several options for "grab and go" so you could snacks with you for the day. Service and staff were very good. Every request I had was quickly addressed and we received very accurate information also. I sent out laundry twice and both times it was on time with good quality. I would stay here again without reservation. Rates are definitely better than center and quality if service and hotel were very good. The hotel looks exactly like on the pictures of the hotels.com website, but is a nit smaller than seems on the pictures. The room was great, very nice, had chairs and a small table on a balcony with good view over the neighborhood (the room was on 4th floor). The neighbourhood is pretty quiet, not hard to reach with the public transport (bus nr 52 […] comes straight from the city center pretty much next to the hotel) and from Termini station catch a metro, then change to a train and have a walk of 10 minutes. We walked to the city center every day through Villa Borghese park which was great green part of the city as well. Might be a bit far from the city center to those who´d like the hotel to be exactly next to main sights as Volosseum etc and don´t like to walk. The hotel was not exactly near any major areas of Rome, however there is a bus stop across the street (#52) that will take you directly to the Trevi Fountain area. The hotel was kind enough to give my husband and I a free ticket for the bus, but we quickly found out that the bus driver doesn't even check the tickets so we pretty much traveled for free […] back and forth each day. The actual room was great! Very spacious and had a very big patio. AC was working great, and bed was comfy. There is a computer in the lobby area which you can use the internet for free as well. The location is OK, but not great.. you can't really walk into the city from the hotel, but bus no 52 goes from right outside, stops at Bernini (one of the Metro stations) and terminates in the city close to the Trevi Fountain. Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean, breakfast was very good, staff were very friendly. I was very displeased with my visit to the Best Western Rivoli. The staff was very nice and helpful but the room was not nice at all. It was very small and air conditioning Didn't work at all. Needless to say it was a no blanket sweating kind of night. Also the hotel looked nothing like it in photos online.

This hotel was very nice. It was a decent sized room, with a nice balcony. Breakfast was provided and was perfectly acceptable. Mukava, sopivan pieni ja rauhallinen hotelli missä autettiin kun kysyttiin. Remontti meneillään mikä haittasi terassin käyttöä. Ei pienen kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta, bussipysäkki kyllä heti hotellin ulkopuolella.

Hotellvistelsen var bra. Hotellet ligger i norra delen av staden med ett reltivt stort gångavstånd men med bra bussförbindelser mot city. Det är förhållandevis billigt med taxi så för ca 8 euro kommer du/ni ner till Fontana de Trevi och där är det sedan gångavstånd till andra sevärdheter som Spanska trappan och Coloseum. Il existe un bus en bas de l'hotel qui mène au centre de Rome en un quart d'heure mais les horaires de passage sont trop espacés et irréguliers de telle sorte qu'il est difficile de profiter pleinement du confort de l'hotel en y revenant par exemple en fin d'après-midi avant de repartir diner en ville. C'est dommage car les prestations sont bonnes.

Dit hotel ligt wat verder van het centrum, maar op 800 meter afstand ligt het metrostation Euclide en vanuit daar zit je zo in het centrum, waar alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand liggen. Schone, nette kamers met gratis kluisje, schone badkamer en lekker ontbijtbuffet.
