My room was clean and quiet which are my basic requirements. I appreciated that when I put the "out and about" sign on my door, the room had always been cleaned and made up before I returned. Be aware, however, that the room had no microwave or fridge, just a coffee maker.

Our stay was excellent ...pleasant staff, and our was great! The meal we had for dinners s breakfast was superior! We will certainly stay there on our next trip home!

Very pleased with our stay although the non-smoking room smelled a little smoky - not too bad though. The restaurants, especially the Mexican restaurant, are excellent. Free breakfast was great too! The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Overall - highly recommended.

Hotel is centrally located to all points within Carson City. The room was clean and of good order. Most all of the staff was very friendly and helpful except when we checked in at 4am, the front desk clerk was kind of rude when we first approached but then became friendlier as we were completing the check-in process. We dined at the Ole Ole restaurant for dinner near closing time and the food quality as well as the service could have been a lot better. The food was of low quality and the waitress gave us the feeling of "hurry up" as she kept pushing us to see if we wanted dessert before we even were half way through our mediocre dinner. The highlight of that experience was the margaritas! Overall, with the motel/hotel choices in Carson City, I would rate this one in the 4.0-4.2 ranges for the money. Читати далі

The ceiling had a big buldge 10" in diameter by about 3" with a small nickel sized hole in it. The roomed smelled very, very badly. Not necessarily smoke, but musty. My son had to go to the bathroom and when we flushed the toilet, the water was very low in it, guessing no-one flushed it recently and it shot water out of it, on his back and on the floor. […] Lastly, the people across the hallway had their door open and were talking very loudly - for hours. We had planned to skiing the next day so we went to bed (have kids) about 8:30pm and finally at 11am we called the front desk to let them know of the noise. Having stayed at this hotel before, it was a natural choice for us to stay again. The staff was exceedingly helpful. We enjoyed receiving complimentary breakfast coupons for each of the days for each member of our family. We would stay here again.

Room was clean and the staff was friendly, which is pretty much all I ask for in a hotel of this price range. I enjoyed my stay. The "Grille" for breakfast is very good, but skip the steak and eggs. Great hotel and comfy stay. Got a free breakfast since we booked online. And the breakfast was huge and tasty! The only problem was that the bathroom sink stopper wasn't working.

The room was not the best or cleanest. First time this has ever happened while staying there. I was wondering if it was because we booked through Hotels.com and the room was already paid for.

Tnly reason I didn't rate the hotel a 5 overall is that, the food is extremely... average. Almost up to Denny's standards.

We stay here often, so it must be decent! My only complaint was the mattress needed to be turned or replaced, as it sagged in the middle. It was mentiond to staff and they were very receptive.

Everything was very nice, we stayed in a more expensive hotel 2 weeks ago and the hotel was not as nice. The pool is large and nice, the gym is good, the room was clean and a nice size and the breakfast, which you get a ticket for, is huge, I'm not a large breakfast eater and it was too big for me. I enjoyed my stay.

Enjoyed the proximity to the casino action. Our only complaint is that our room which was listed as non-smoking smelled heavily of smoke, including the bedding. The smoke worsened overnight. If you are a non-smoker don't stay here. I had a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke and made me cough like I was staying in a smoke-filled room. I woke up in the middle of the night and could have sworn someone was smoking in the room.

They have friendly staff all day long. Cheap beer and food on both their restaurants. Only complaint only place to go around the area unless you like to drive 10-15 miles to the nearest town

The hotel staff is very curteous and professional. The food and service in the cafe is exceptional. However, the rooms are not very sound resistant to your neighbors and traffic in the hallway. Unfortunately you hear EVERYTHING you neighbors are doing and saying!

There were some good and some bad things about the hotel. PROS --Reasonable price for a clean room. --The staff were very friendly and even put up a welcome message for our soccer team on the monitor behind the front desk. --Very convenient being right next to the 395 on ramp. --The kids loved the on site bowling. --Complementary breakfast was good. Our room was on the first floor and I did not smell smoke in or near our room. --The alarm clock did not work. --All of the buttons on the phone did not work. --The alarm on the tv did not work, luckily my phone has an alarm. --There is a high school football stadium right behind the hotel so I had to listen to the stadium announcer for a few hours Friday night. This is our second stay in 2 years. On the first occasion we had a lovely 3rd floor suite that overlooked the fields to the southeast. The beds were and still are super comfy ! GDW Casino is close to the freeway but VERY quiet. There are two stripmalls in close proximity, one with a Subway sandwich store that is convenient for picnic lunches. On this […] recent Tuesday thru Thursday stay at GDW casino resort, we had a second floor room with two queen beds. The room was in very good condition and it overlooked the seldom-used pool and garden. Again perfectly quiet. I was leary of being on the second floor because I thought it would be noisy above. It wasn't at all and (being a light sleeper) I had yet another 2 nights of quiet sleep. The airconditioner needed maintenance. Pedro, the delightful maintenance man, was there is 5 minutes and promptly cleaned the filter to restored coolness to the room in no time. The restaurant's staff were very competent and friendly staff. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes. The Grille Manager on Wednesday night was awesome when I had a bout of hypoglycemia at 10pm. He was understanding and willing to see that I could have a some bread after 10pm. Breakfast was included in the night's rate and there was a good selection of hot food that was ample and fresh. Dinner in the Mexican restaurant was also excellent quality, selection and price. So, kudos to all the staff, too numerous to mention. Some Reception staff could be more welcoming, though. The staff went the extra mile to accommodate our wishes. The customer service was outstanding. The room was clean and comfortable and the on-site restaurants were very good and reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed the staffs assistance getting us settled. They all went out of their way to make us comfortable. We will be returning to stay with them again soon. I highly recomend Them to all friends and family!!!!!!

Only concern I had was they closed the pool for a wedding at 5 oclock. It was full of families that had to leave. We had just arrived and wanted to cool off but were not able too.
