Days Inn Suites Lafayette In - Лафайєтт

This was my first time staying at a Days Inn and it was GREAT. The staff, rooms and overall accomadations were GREAT. I hope to book again in the fall during the upcomming Purdue University Football season.

Overall I had a good experience at the hotel. The only objective would be that me being a non smoker my room smelled like a tobacco factory.

The service was terrible, when we asked from few more towels the man did not want to go look also for an extras blanket... thought sheets were not washed

Overall satisfied with the hotel. However, I'm glad I called the hotel itself to confirm receipt of the reservation. I initially booked using the Android app, and when I called to confirm reservation, I was disappointed to learn, once again, that the room had not been reserved as a "easy wheelchair access" room as requested. Luckily, this was resolved […] at the hotel level. Also, the room in question, while providing an accessible bathroom, had modified the shower by placing a wooden bench at the very BACK of the tub, making adjustment of water temperature, or even turning the water on/off from the tub, impossible, not to mention that the hand sprayer hose would not have covered that distance, either. It is a little disappointing what is considered "handicap accessible", but no longer surprising, although I am disappointed that the reservation did not come through as placed, for the second time. THE ROOM WAS VERY, VERY SMALL AND HARD FOR 2 TO GET AROUND IN ROOM. THE DESK CHAIR WAS TO LARGE FOR THE ROOM. ROOM SERVICE WAS GREAT

For a non-smoking room it was really smoky, with the window open it wasn't so bad. The complimentary shampoo bottle was open and used, and there were not enough towels. Other than that it was a really good price, and very clean.

The hotel is in serious need of a renovation. Smoking is allowed in sections of the hotel and the smell migrates through the entire facility. The construction allowed noise from all sides and from the exterior to transmit into the room. The ventilation within the room was poor - kept the window unit on high to try to drowned out the noise and froze. […] Didn't want to use the blankets since they looked dirty and had holes. THE HOTEL LOBBY MAY LOOK OKAY, BUT THE ROOMS WERE HORRIBLE. THE SHEETS HAD STAINS ON THEM, SO WE ASKED FOR NEW SHEETS WHICH WE PUT ON OURSELVES, THE BEDSPREAD LOOKED DIRTY, SO WE DID NOT USE THE BEDSPREAD OR BLANKET. THE DOORS TO THE "CLOSET" WERE RIPPED OFF THE HINGES ON ONE SIDE, AND THE DRAPES WERE COMPLETELY WATER DAMAGED OR SMOKE DAMAGED. THE WALLPAPER […] WAS DAMAGED, STAINED AND COMING OFF THE WALL IN SPOTS. THE WINDOW SEAT. THE ONLY THING TO SET ON IN THE TINY ROOM WAS FILTHY AND ALL STAINED IT WAS BELOW THE WINDOW AND OVER THE AIR/HEATING UNIT. THE "SUITE" HAD NO ROOM TO MANEUVER AROUND THE BED AND HAD A STAMP -SIZE REFRIGERATOR WITH A SMALL, DIRTY MICROWAVE ON TOP OF IT ON THE FLOOR UP AGAINST THE FOOT OF THE BED. iT WREAKED OF OLD CIGARETTE SMOKE. The Hotel was hard to locate. A sign on "Frontage Road" at the entrance would be more helpful. Also I was asked when making my reservation if I wanted a non smoking room. There were very few rooms with a sign on the door that said "This a non Smoking Room". My room was not one of those designated rooms, so it smelled like it has as sometime been allowed […] to have smoking. Also the hallway leading to the rooms also smelled like very strong smoke. Because of that I would probably not stay at this location in the future. Also the breakfast was not availabel until 7am and that was indicated on the web site. The front desk personell was not very personable and seemed to be more involved in doing other things. Читати далі

The room was small but comfortable, it was a good value. The one disappointing thing was no internet service, had to go next door to check my e-mail,

Got a great price on this hotel, and decided to try it out despite some less-than-positive reviews. Staff was nice, hotel seemed well kept at first glance. My non-smoking room (which did have a sign on the outside noting it as such) had an ashtray and matches on the desk. Not in the worst condition, but in general the maintenance of the hotel was lacking, […] with old fixtures and peeling wallpaper. There was even an old used washcloth hanging from the shower curtain rod. Breakfast was late to come out, and consisted of stale bagels, muffins and donuts (the latter of which was gobbled up by a large group within 5 minutes of being set out...and there was no replacement), some yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee. If I found this hotel again for less than half the price of surrounding competitiors, I MIGHT book it again. Otherwise, I'd rather pay the difference. Читати далі

First floor room was very small - TV needs upgraded. noisey neighbors and no staff confronted them. Hotel was clean, breakfast was very enjoyable and staff were pleasant to us.

This quiet facility did not disappoint for the price. The morning breakfast with coffee sent me in search of a good cup of coffee but the surrounding lanscape had only fast food coffee. The internet took a little work and an 800 number to get me going and that numer was needed after I returned home. Friendly staff. Good price. No one bothered me. The entire hotel reeked of smoke. Most card scanners, including the one to our room, only worked half the time. I had to get a new card 3 times just to get into my room.

OK for an inexpensive hotel. Folks were friendly and helpful. The bed was Horrible however. About what I expected for the price. Cheapest by about $40.

I did not like this Hotel, the room was real small and the restroom was in poor shape. (Glue on the floor and just felt dirty). Would not stay here again. Sorry.

The most terrible experience we ever had in an Hotel (and we were all over the world). Very dirty, filthy carpets, old mattresses, horrible cigarette odor. Now we have our son in College near by but we will not go back to your hotel and we will let everyone know too so they don't have the same terrible experience we had at your hotel. Clean, inexpensive; televisions could use an major upgrade, otherwise amenities in room were nice to have.

Hotel was nice location, friendly staff, and cleanliness was good. However, hotel room was tiny! and the bed was very uncomfortable. Also, we were in a no smoking room but it smelled like smoke throughout the entire hallway.

Probably wouldn't stay again. It wasn't horrible, but old. Pillows were tiny tv small and bad. Worst part was that the room had deodorizer smell that came with you on your clothing when you came home. It is fine for the price but I would pay a bit more for a nicer place.

The room smells cigarette, although non-smoking room. Employees are not courteous. TV needs to be updated.

Although the 1-double bed room is adequate for two people, it did seem cramped. The price paid reflects this, though. Surprised to see that the only working exercise equipment was a treadmill. There is an eliptical machine and bicycle but both were inop (waiting for repair). Exercise room next door at the Mariott is available but "I need to find the […] maintenance guy so he can open the door". (Not easy to do at 6AM). Читати далі

Good, clean, hotel. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Difficult to find at first.

The room was nice and comfortable. Nice having the pull-out bed for the grandkids to sleep in. Air conditioner was on the noisy side, but didn't really cause us any loss of sleep. Would definitely recommend staying there again.

Good price compared to other name-brand hotels in Lafayette. Stayed three days and had good maid service each day. The room was smaller than other Days Inns we have stayed at--less than two feet between the end of the king-sized bed and the writing desk and chair, so it felt a bit cramped. I would not want to spend time hanging out in the room, but […] we only needed a place to sleep. Everything worked well. The same people own the Marriott next door, and their Days Inn guests are also invited to the Marriott's "hospitality hour" late afternoons, with complimentary snacks, beer, and wine. Читати далі

Nothing to say in particular, no bad point, for a good price. As most of people, I recommend it.
