Stayed here for one night, quick easy check in. Clean room, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Very satisfied and would stay again/

Because this is an Ibis, I knew what I was going to get - and what I wasn't. It was clean, comfortable and fairly basic. This was reflected in the good price I obtained. Free parking an obvious bonus, really nice breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Being near the city centre there was a bit of noise during the night. Enjoybale weekend and thought Birmingham was a really good place to visit.

Great location, in walking distance for - New Street Staion, Hippodrome theatre, Alexandra theatre, Bullring shopping centre, O2 Academy & more. Everything you need for a cheap stay. Free parking is a bonus within a city like this & it is gated. Comfy bed. I throughly enjoyed my stay here very comfortable and welcoming, staff are all lovely would definitely want to stay here again. I felt like a VIP with the automatic gates. The continental breakfast is very nice with a good choice also I found that if you pay in advance its £5 instead of £7.50 on the day.

went there with my sister. the price was very convenient so we didnt expect much. Surprisingly it was very nice and comfortable. Its location is ok and the room was clean and not too small. We enjoyed our staying there very much.

If you need a place to stay and you are on a tight budget and don't mind the following...stained bedding, stained carpets, smelly bathroom, old scaly bath tub... then this is the place. On the plus side the car park is included, improving the value for money slightly. Also short walk into centre of town or ICC. And I did sleep well (despite bright lighting […] outside room). This hotel is close to Holloway Circus but not on it. It is also close to the O2. It is about a 10 min walk from New Street and I would not recommend it in the dark on your own. It is also up quite a steep hill if you are carrying luggage. It appears more like a motel with each room having its own front door to the outside. It is functional and my room […] had a bath and shower as some Ibis hotels only have showers. Most annoying was the light outside which could not be turned off. We only stayed one night for a Comedy Club evening but we were very impressed with Reception staff on arrival, and we were given our room as soon as we arrived despite being 2 hrs early. The room was clean,comfortably sized,modern and had all we need including a hairdryer. Bathroom was large,clean and even had a nice deep bath with continuous hot water! […] The room was quiet through the night and breakfast was fresh, hot , ample choices of fresh fruit, cereals,pastries,breads,juices,yoghurts and hot buffet, all for £5 if booked on arrival. Great value - it served our purposes well, we just wanted to get our heads down in a comfortable bed after a long haul flight. Staff very helpful, breakfast selection and quality was good too.

Looks like a prison from outside. Carpet badly stained. Lighting poor. However staff nice but structure of premises poor.

Although the hotel was cheap,on reflection I wish I had paid a bit more to stay somewhere better. It isn't a hotel at all really,reception is in one building and then you have to go back outside to get to the rooms which are set out motel style around the car park. The room was smelly musty and dark and the bathroom door didnt shut as it was hanging off its hinges. Certainly do not take a partner. Not worth the money in the slightest, pay an extra tenner and stay anywhere else!

i personally like both of the ibis hotels i have been too. this one and the one in town centre. price wise they are great and the comfort and cleanliness is of great standard too.

when we arrived at reception desk to check in, there was a argument going on with a person staying there & manager bout theft at hotel, if hadnt already paid upfront for room wouldnt have stayed there, saying this, we didnt experince any problems & enjoyed our stay, did think that manager should of not allowed argument 2 happen in reception & took guest […] into another room. Rooms were spotless. Staff were really helpful. Car parking is free. Location is good as easy to taxi to Birmingham and parking is safe. The only downside is beds are hard and deliverys started at 645am and boy was it noisy. It was a friday so maybe thats just unlucky but it did feel like the clattering van was coming in to the room. What more could you want? Friendly staff, clean rooms and close to all the action. Look no further.

This is a budget hotel with secure parking in the heart of Birmingham very close to the nightlife, ideal for partying and as a consequence may be less suitable for families at the weekend but it suited me and my budget well. Rooms are accessed from the outside rather than reception, bit like a motel which is unusual but not an issue.

The Hotel looks like it was built as a series of blocks of apartments or bedsits. Access to rooms is via an external walkway. It can be noisy at night with noisy guests returning to their rooms along the concrete walkway. I also wondered about security from intruders. However, the room, although small, was clean and pleasant. The choice of TV stations […] was extremely limited unless you were willing to pay £11.99 per day for a wider choice (which includes broadband, whether you want it or not). The breakfast was not included in the price but was reasonablly good value for an extra payment of £7.95 per person. All in all, it was OK but not what I would call especially good value. Excellent service from the staff, both over the phone and on arrival. minor gripe was the light , directly outside window, which made it difficult to sleep, but thats a personal thing. Certainly a useful spot to reach by car or by train.

nice enough hotel they have big iron gates that i drove past twice before realizing thats my hotel, so a bigger sign could be useful. friendly staff and a nice but cosy room. reminds me a bit of a retirement village.

Stayed just one night - As it was the night of the horrendous snow that arrived, our stay wasn't probably typical of a saturday night in birmingham Centre. It was fairly quiet and our room was 2nd from the end of a block, furthest away from Reception and other occupants. The room itself was clean and warm. The only negative was the tiny bath towels. […] To be honest they were barely bigger than hand towels so maybe they were hand towels and they don't provide bath towels. This hotel is in a fantastic location for all the major shopping sites eg Mail Box,Bull ring and New St Station is just a 5-10 minute walk away. This is a basic hotel but the staff are always friendly and helpful and its a bonus to have the parking

Vi var 2 venninner som bodde på Ibis Holloway i 3 netter. Vi valgte hotellet fordi det var billig og det nærmeste hotellet til 02 Academy hvor vi skulle på konsert. Vi hadde ingen store forhåpninger til standarden på hotellet, men ble positivt overrasket. Store og åpne rom, god seng(vi hadde dobbelseng), stort bad og rengjøringen var bra. Hotellet er […] vel nesten et "motell", da alle rom har egen dør ut parkeringsplassen, men dette var bare positivt. Resepsjonen var veldig pen, og resepsjonistene var hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Maten kan jeg ikke kommentere, da vi ikke hadde inkludert frokost de dagene vi var der, men menyen viste at det var et godt utvalg 24 timer i døgnet. zeer goeie ligging , op wandelafstand van de Bullring ( shoppingcenter ) en het voetbalstadion ( St Andrews ). Geen last gehad van lawaai . Ontbijtbuffet goedkoop als je de dag voordien reserveerd , gevarieerd en lekker .

Das Hotel ist von aussen nicht gerade eine Schönheit. Die Treppen und Zugänge zu den Zimmer liegen allesamt aussen und sind in schlechtem Zustand. Die Zimmer sind aber sauber und ganz gut. Das Frühstück war lecker und reichhaltig.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und die wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Innenstadt lassen sich zu Fuß erreichen.
