I only have positive things to say about this hotel. The hotel is very close to La Rambla and the Cathedral but far enough away to avoid the noise. The rooms were very clean and the reception staff was always friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be central to all of the great sites of Barcelona.

An easy walk from Aerobus and Turistic stops at Placa de Catalunya. Close to La Ramblas and Barre Gotic but off quiet side street. Updated property. Elaborate breakfast buffet. Inconsistent housekeeping.

The hotel was excellent located, close to Ramblas, but quite away from the noise and rumor of the pedestrian area. The surrounding buildings are residential apartments with several small restaurants where the locals go: cheap and excellent food within meters from Ramlblas.

Restaurant only open for buffet breakfast; very expensive. Plan on eating out, but plenty of good cafes and restaurants in walking distance. The room was small, but adequate; spent most of our time out sightseeing.

We love the location. The hotel staff are helpful. The rooms, while small, are satisfactory. Our only complaint would be that there were no wash cloths. Washing with face towels is impossible. We were there for three nights....no wash cloths.

The hotel´s location is ideal: close to the Placa Catalunya (airport bus stops) and the city center. Still the neighbourhood is quiet and there´s not any noice coming from the streets. This hotel has an excellent location for people with no car.Everything in the old city is around you and conveniently located for great restaurants,shopping and sightseeing.Staff is very helpfull .Breakfast is great and excellent assortment.I will return next time in Barcelona!!

The hotel was in a great location. Close enough to all the action, so there is no need for Public transport, but tucked away enough to be quiet when you eventually decide to go to bed. We did not eat at the hotel - Food in Barcelona is everywhere, and quite reasonable. Hotel staff were very friendly and very happy to help. The bus from the Airport is […] the most direct and closest to the hotel, with the hotel a short walk from Placa De Catalunya - and downhill which helps with the bags! Great location and very comfortable room, we could see the top of the Cathedral from our balcony and only from 5th floor. Staff is very friendly, mini bar is well equipped. Brilliant holiday. Ideal, central and safe location. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was of good size with a decent bathroom and good range of tv channels. Overall = 5/5.

Room and hotel in general was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent with an extensive choice of food and drinks. Staff were very friendly. Location was perfect - close to Plaza de Catalunya where the airport bus stops and where City tour buses leave from. Two minutes walk to La Rambla in one direction and Barcelona […] Cathedral in the other direction. Hotel is on a quiet pedestrian street but only a couple of blocks from the Ramblas and easy walking to Plaza Catalunya. Took Aerobus to airport from there, easy transfer! and inexpensive.

Even though this was only classed as a 3 star I thought I would look - glad I did, it was a great location. Everything stops at the top of this hotel's street - airport bus, taxis and hop off hop on buses. The staff were very welcoming and helped is with passes and tickets during our stay, gave us directions and were generally very attentive. Only had […] breakfast one morning, but it was a very good choice and the pastries were baked as we were eating. The rooms were very clean and although the bathroom was quite small, as you would expect in the city, it was fine for 2 of us. We're given a king size room, although we had only paid for a standard room and it was lovely to be able to stand on the balcony ( astro turfed for comfort) and look out to the skyline. Third consecutive year in Barcelona, first time here as i was looking for a more quiet location. The soundproof windows were ok, but loose hardware on the window handle let in noise and wind. The hall was a bit noisy - why does everyone that comes in late seems to slam their door? Overall, great value, central location close to the old city, Aerobus […] stop, metro and trains. Basic with a good location. Although no tea or coffee facilities and the room had no safe - I think this is an exception but still wasn't ideal! Staff were helpful and friendly so not bad for a short city break.

We got to the hotel at about 11am and wanted to leave our luggage, luckily though our room was ready so we were able to check in. Which was great after an early start. The room was large, clean and had what you needed. Bathroom was nice too. It was great to have a safe in the room which was free to use. This was great as we'd been warned of pickpockets […] in the city, so we could pop all our valuables in the safe. The hotel itself is in a great location about 30 seconds from La Rambla, when getting to the hotel it's connected to a Decathalon. There are loads of places to shop and eat near to the hotel. The best thing about about the hotel is location - it's nestled between Plaza Catalunya and the Gothic quarter right off Las Ramblas. The hotel itself is average at best. The halls, at least on the 2 floors our group stayed in were musty, with water damage on the carpets and walls. Our room was comfortable but some rooms were inexplicably smaller and […] cramped. Most have a small balcony which was nice. We were forced to sleep with the balcony doors open because during the winter there is only heat, no A/C available. Beware of making any outside calls as they do not advertise their prices and they are astronomical, even charging for attempted calls that never went through. We ran up a $250 phone bill with less than 30 minutes of call time throughout our stay. Next time we are in Barcelona, we will definitely stay elsewhere. Читати далі

we just used the hotel for sleeping/ bathing and it was perfect for this! our room on the 3rd floor was quiet , clean and comfortable. The curtains kept all daylight out, so having a lie-in was undisturbed! Location was fantastic, just off la Ramblas - about a 2 min walk to one of the livliest streets in Barcelona. Great location 5 min walk from las Ramblas, also 5 min walk from aerobus stop at Placa Catalunya. Only criticism is expensive breakfast,much cheaper option are small cafe restaurants close by

Great hotel located in the Bari Gotic and one block from the Ramblas. Everything was nice, new and clean. Our first room smelled of cigarettes and they happily changed our room. We would stay here again.
