"Kent Hotel Istanbul- Horrible Service"
Very unfriendly front desk service. There were three of us staying in the room (which had a queen bed and one single bed) and because we did not specify that there were three people staying, the reservation manager charged us another 100 Euros on top of what we already paid because they assumed we only had 2 people- even though the room already slept […] 3. This is a good quality hotel, conveniently situated. It is on the edge of the old city, close to the Grand Bazaar. It is on the tram line with easy access via a Metro change to the airport and in the other direction to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi and the Bosphorus ferries. The small problem is the nearby very loud call to prayer but is probably a risk […] in any Istanbul hotel. The hotel WiFi was not working. The location was fabulous for walking and taking public transportation. The room was quite clean. However, the air conditioning (much needed) worked only about half the time. The Internet also was only functioning about 1/3 of the time, which is extremely problematic if you need to rely upon it daily. The hotel will claim the Internet is working if […] it gets any signal at all, but usually the signal and bandwidth were so low that one couldn't functionally use the network. "Great Experience"
Found hotel to be boutique....lovely appointments, good service and most importantly, clean and quiet rooms. Hotel couldn't help loudspeaker right outside our window with the 5 daily blastings (and I don't use that word lightly) of the call to prayer. Dealt with this when sleeping (11pm or 5am) by reminding myself that maybe I could reflect more on […] spirituality! If you're not in the mood for that, might request a room away from the speakers! this hotel should not be rated more than 3 starts, breakfast was not good at all either, would not stay there for the price ever again, Doubletree next door is much much better hotel for the same price, we spent 1 night in each hotel
"Nothing exceptional.."
This hotel is noisy . Rooms are no soundproof. People in the Front Desk are quite rude . They cannot provide an invoice ..if you pay on line (Hotel.com) . Otherwise is well located and breakfast is excellent .

"Good choice"
Very clean . Staff is helpful. It looks like it has been refurbished recently. Walking distance to all attractions in Istanbul ( 10 mins walk to Sultanahmet square and 2 mins to Byazit square). Food is nice and there are also loads of restaurants in the neighbourhood which gives extra options. I will stay there if I visit Istanbul again.

Hotellet var en positiv overraskelse for oss. Vi ønsket et hotell som var sentralt plassert i forhold til severdighetene i Istanbul. Bedre beliggenhet kunne vi ikke ha fått. Hotellet var nyopp-pusset, betjeningen imøtekommende og hyggelig. Rommet var stort og luftig, pent møblert, gode senger og et greit bad. Frokost enkel, men god. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, wenige Gehminuten vom Altstadtzentrum und den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt und ein ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um Istanbul zu erkunden. Die Zimmer und das Frühstück sind OK, am unteren Ende des Standards für 4 Sterne-Hotels anzusiedeln. Abendessen sollte man wo anders. Achtung bei den Angeboten der Rezeption. Sehr gut gelegen an der Tramlinie und nahe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Altstadt. Ruhig, grosses Zimmer, sehr sauber und komfortabel.

Praktisk beliggenhet, ved en hovedgate med trikk. Meget lite støy fra denne. Gangavstand til de fleste severdigheter. God mat og god service på hotellet

"Sehr gutes Hotel für Geschäfts- und Städtereisen"
Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig gegenüber der Universität und in der Nähe (5 Min.) des Großen Basars. Auch andere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Straßenbahnhaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel: Vom Flughafen Atatürk erreicht man in einer knappen Stunde das Hotel mit nur einmal Umsteigen. Direkt hinter dem Hotel […] begnnt der "Textilbezirk" mit sehr vielen Läden, von einfachen bis hochwertigen Produkten ist alles vertreten. Kumkapi mit vielen Straßenrestaurants ist ebenfalls zu Fuß leicht zu erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön in ausreichender Größe, besonders hervorzuheben ist die ebenerdige große Dusche, alles sehr sauber! Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Hotel Kent ligger i smørøyet av gamlebyen i Istanbul og er derfor perfekt sted å bo hvis man ønsker å bo nærme attraksjoner som Grand Basar og Blå Moske. Rommene er litt små, men helt moderne og rene.Meget hyggelig betjening. Anbefales. Husk bare en ting. Ta alltid med en utskrift av bestillingen fra Hotels.com. Det gjør innskjekkingen enklere.

旧市街の中心地で、トラムの駅から近く、観光スポットへのアクセスは非常に良い。部屋は非常に綺麗で快適。但し、どういうわけかティッシュが備え付けられてなく、困った。朝食は残念ながら、イマイチ。パンやフルーツの種類が少なく、一般的なヨーロッパのホテルに比べると？という感じ。

"Optimales Hotel für einen Kurztripp"
Kurz und Knapp: hatten für 3 Nächte im Kent Hotel gebucht und waren mehr als zufrieden. Alles hat wunderbar funktioniert und das Service war optimal. Alle Angestellten waren äußerst hilfsbereit und zuvorkommen und auch das Frühstücksbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen. Der einzige Kritikpunkt war vielleicht, dass unser Zimmer zur Straßenseite gelegen hat […] und der Verkehr teilweise bis in den späten Abend etwas zu hören war. Fantastic hotel with very polite staff, close to the main sites in Istanbul. Even though averything is available by walking you find a tram station just outside the hotel. excellent breakfast and room service. I can really recomend this hotel.
