Candlewood Suites - Jersey City - Джерсі-Сіті

Very Clean, friendly people. it is really closed to PATH station so that we could go to NYC in 10 minutes. Also the room has kitchen so that we enjoyed the meal very comfortably. Free parking! (it's about $20 for 24 hours parking in Jersey city) They let me park a car even after the check-out time so we could enjoy NYC more.

The room was quiet, convenient and very clean. The staff was very knowlegeable of the area and eager to help with all requests. Location was just a short walk to the PATH train into NYC and it made visiting so easy. Will definently chose this hotel again!

The room was great. the only thing out of place was that the cover of the air condition was not on. Unfortunately, I was lied to by a employee at the front desk the night before I left the hotel. He indicated that I could leave later on my last day. But the General Manager said that the employee knew that I was to leave by 12 noon instead of the later […] that afternoon. But that was not what I was told by the employee the night before when he worked. I had to rush out of my room to make it downstairs before being charged an extra day. The employee was rude and acted immature. He would not let me explain my case to the General Manager. The General Manager did not stop him from being rude to me. I was very up set. The General Manager talked to me like I was at fault. The day of my departure the employee had indicated that I should have called down to ask what time i was supposed to leave. Since he worked the night before and that morning he should know what time i was supposed to leave. Why would I call to ask someone else if he instructed me to leave at a later time? Overall it was awesome. Great location, a short walk from the Exchange Pl path train. The per night cost was very similar to the other hotels on Washington St (Westin, Doubletree, Courtyard) but you got way more space since it was an extended stay suite. I was very impressed with the hotel. The secured free parking was an added plus which influenced my decision to pick the Candlewood. The room was more than I expected and the closeness to the PATH made it a perfect choice.

This hotel is a gem in a quiet area in Jersey City close to the path train. Prefect place for a short stay. safe neighbourhood and all amenities necessary. Only down side was the very loud aircon units that couldnt me manually switched off. The Front desk offered to turn these off with the assistance of a maintenance person.

Clean, very comfortable, and felt safe for a single woman traveling for business so walking to-from the Newport PATH train. The room was beautifully laid-out, completely with fridge, stove, and pots/utensils. Fantastic!

Just on bad thing. We got a couple of sodas from the hotel store and paid the desk clerk cash and he charged to our room. The check out clerk corrected his mistake all in all it was a great stay and our new nyc hotel

Nice location right on the NY waterfront. Was conveniently close to the Exchange Place PATH station. Room was a bit pricey but what do you want for a suite on the waterfront? Everything was clean. Front desk even let us check in a couple hours early.

Everything was great from top to bottom. Plenty of free parking. Safe area to walk around 24 hrs a day with great views of NY City. The river (and riverwalk) is like maybe 20 seconds from the front door. The subway across the river to NY is 2 blocks away. A nice large suite, quite comfortable, with a short walk to the PATH trains and a slightly longer one to the ferries. Worth considering if you'd like a suite close to New York.

It is a great option if you travel with small kids and you plan to go for holidays to New York. Close to path stations, the neighborhood is quite relaxed, close to supermarkets and other facilities. the hotel provides free laundry machines as well. Excellent cost/benefit option. I always love Candlewood Suites no matter where we are. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel as well, as they have FREE parking and are located only a couple blocks from the PATH train into the city. Nice hotel,big rooms great for a family.good location if you have a car.there is a train line next door to the hotel not sure where it takes you, but could be used for exploring area.you cannot hear the train or traffic in the room they are pretty sound proof.we would stay again and recommend!

I live in Jersey City, but needed a get away with my Boyfriend. The conveience of the rooms having a full working kitchen was the best part. We cooked, and once it was done, we placed the dishes in the dishwasher and just relaxed the rest of the night. Defintely a place to come back to!!!

Very convenient to Manhattan and shopping in NJ. Couple things I would change are take one picture down in bedroom and put up a mirror and add a skillet to the kitchen. Other than that, every thing was satisfactory. Staff was very high quality with suggestions and assistance and directions. Hotel was very quiet.

Excelent location, friendly staff, clean room (although it kind of smelled but it was clean). The room was very spacious and functional, it is an extended stay hotel so you got a nice kitchen area, table, sofa, etc. Would stay there again for sure. Even the work out room was nice, better then some 3+ star hotels.

The hotel tolet seat was very loose, but they repaired it. The airconditioner was too loud. Other than that , my stay was good. I have stayed there several times before and will continue to do so in the future. The view was beautiful. The hotel was clean and there was no smell.

Staff is handicapped by the location and pricepoint. They do try and are very accomodating. After a minor problem they offered to move us to another room. Stay above the first floor if possible. The hotel "store" is very overpriced. If you stay here walk the two block to the grocery store for your needs.
