Best hotel experience I've ever had. Hotel is near so many of the things you want to see in Philly. Service was awesome. Breakfast had a great variety. The bathroom was actually clean. No mold or anything.

Very convenient location..near convention center, Greyhound terminal, Reading Market and Chinatown. Friendly check-in, free coffee and tea and an included breakfast made it a pleasure for one night to visit some museums and walk around the city.

Nice quality, comfortable, clean, an good location downtown with lots of surrounding places for food and tourism. The only issue is that tooth paste wasn't available in the bathroom we had to call downstairs and then go and pick it up.

This hotel has sesveral amenities like local treats that help make the stay more enjoyable. I never felt nickle and dimed as I have at other properties.

"Needs a new showerhead"
For a downtown Philly hotel, the accomodations are nice and the price was right! The hotel needs to update the showerheads as they are dirty and not functional. "Clean, comfortable,close to downtown sights."
We found the valet parking very helpful, though the nearby parking would have suffices if not for the quantity of luggage we had with us. The desk was helpful, the room was clean & comfortable with nice amenities. "Great location, affordable, and overall good value"
We were touring Philadelphia for the first time. Our hotel was centrally located and we could walk to most of the main tourist attractions within 15 minutes. We were also near Reading Terminal which is a must for lunch and other quick shopping. The hotel was very well maintained and the staff very friendly and courteous. The hotel was convenientlly located near the liberty bell and offered a great selection of breakfast items, hot cider and cookies in the evening and freshly baked pretzels during the day. Great value.
I would stay there again and reccommend it to friends. Met are needs perfectly. the mulled cider and cookies in the lobby with other refreshments were a nice touch. Breakfast was wonderful and the wait staff extremely pleasant.

Great hotel and service. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times, from hailing taxi cabs to hold our bags after our check out time (so we could do more sightseeing before departing via train). Breakfasts were great. Thanks to the hotel staff for making our stay a great experience.

I booked this room in order to be close to the Parkway to run the marathon this past weekend. The location is safe and centrally-located to many attractions. I live 30 minutes away but I wanted to stay in town to avoid the traffic. "Nice hotel"
the hotel was nice, my only problem had to do with parking but that is a problem in philadelphia so if you stay in philly be prepared to add an extra $25 a day for parking.

Under window heater throwing cold air. At 3:30 pm called the desk. Engineer up to the room about 3:40. Said he would change out the whole unit. We were going to leave but he and a helper returned so quickly and changed the unit out we weren't even ready to leave. Replacement worked. Desk staff and consierge very helpful.

Chose this hotel because it was in "city center", I didn't really know what are we should be in. The hotel service was good, and the hotel was clean. It was just not in an area that felt safe to walk around in (although in the daylight it is close enough to walk to tourist locations), but it was nothing special, and it wasn't the cheapest for what you […] got. Great location - Sunday breakfast had decent spread of food and nice eating area. Pool is small/Prefer queen size beds to the doubles they had. Staff was friendly. We'd stay again!

I was in Philly for only one night. Upon my arrival, they gave me a list of area restaurants and a map. They offered to provide a list of delivery options as well. I ended up going out to eat and had a wonderful meal. The room was modern, clean and spacious. "I would stay again"
Hotel was an enjoyable experience. Every staff member was more than pleasant, and I really enjoyed the environment it created. Check in/out was simple and timely. Hotel was clean and well kept. The only draw back would be the cost of the valet parking.

Philly's Hampton is comfortable, clean, and convenient. You won't be disappointed. I would recommend parking the car yourself, as the valet parking is $35 while surrounding lots will run you about $20.

"close to plenty of sights"
The cleaning staff very friendly and helpful......the front desk was accommodating.......I enjoyed my stay. I had a slight problem with the internet but their IT person helped.....

The staff was outstanding!! We did have a problem with the tour that picked us up outside. They drop you off at different sites, and then pick you up at locations designated with signs (like bus stops). After waiting a good 1/2 hour at one of these stops, I remembered I had a phone # and called. It seems that stop had been deleted temporarily, but we […] had not been told. I did let the people at the hotel know about this, since I had purchased our ticket there, and they were very apologetic, and said they would take care of this in the future. "Front desk staff were a little dense"
I booked 4 rooms through hotels.com to put up my staff for an event at the Pennsylvania convention center. When I got there I checked to make sure all the correct names were on each room, and to add a second name to each room since all the crew were coming in at different times, that way they wouldnt have to find the person who checked in first to get […] into their room. I brought a list of names, and date ranges and asked the desk to verify each one, they did, gave the checked off list back and I said good night. next day my first staff memebver went to check in and his name wasnt on a room until the following night. they charged him for a room to get him in and I went down to straighten it out when I returned from show setup about an hour later. it took me over 1/2 an hour of convincing, describing the situaiton and redescribing the situation before the desk clerks finally were convinced what was the matter... the original desk clerk, when she checked the list, transposed names from a thurs-sun stay with a wed-mon stay... all the right number of room nights had been booked/allotted in the proper blocks, they had just switched the names on 2 of the rooms. half an hour of repeating the problem a million different ways before they finally figured it out. I even said half way through, ok. so since you dont get the issue, how about if I just check everyone in, get their keys, and *I'll* handle getting the keys for the specific rooms to the right people. they wouldnt but thankfully eventually figured it out and got it straight. Also, the typical free breakfast hot items were substandard to normal hampton quality... i've stayed at quite a few, this was underwhelming, at least there were bananas and yogurt :) Читати далі

Great location- My kids (8 and 12) and I walked everywhere. Rooms were clean, staff was great and it might have one of the best continental breakfasts in the US. Pool was a little small and everything else was great

This Hotel is a jewel in Philadelphia's Northern section. The neighborhood, I felt safe but rundown. However it was close to ,everything. "Hampton Inn has changed hands"
Now purchased by the Hilton the quality of service and the well-known "Hampton" atmosphere are gone. They neglected to clean my room at all (never even entered) - the breakfast offered is 1/2 of what Hampton offered - and they have not updated the new restrictions of the Hotel on Hotels.com I reserved the room as "smoking" (I know not popular - but […] the option was there) and they have changed the policy with no notice to customers. this particular hotel was in a very bad section of town and the outdoor smoking area was on the street and not protected by any Hampton personnel - it placed many of us in a very dangerous situation without prior knowledge of the changes. my family has stayed at Hampton(s) for all travel for many years....we will never stay in another one. We had a good experience. The complimentary breakfast buffet was good with lots to choices, hot and cold. The king bed was wonderful to get a good night's sleep..plush, comfortable with upscale linens. The location was central enough to get around the city.
