Hotel receptionists were very helpful and professional. The location could not have been better for a tourist visit. The walls are paper-thin and guests can hear every footstep outside their walls, as well as neighborhood noise.

Service was excellent. Breakfast was extremely nice too. I recommend this one to all...

The hotel is Perfect, if you just need a place to sleep or eat breakfast. Clean, safe and Perfect if you need to take a taxi, metro, bus or walk close to the area. I really enjoyed the hotel and I totally recommend it.

GOOD LOCATION, 10 MINUTE WALK FROM LA RAMBLA, WATERFRONT. IN CITY CENTER NEIGHBORHOOD; GOOD FOR SEEING REAL CITY RESIDENTS AND FAMILIES. COMFORTABLE ROOM. NO BREAKFAST BUT CLOSE TO MULTIPLE EATING PLACES.

The location of the hotel is good, the price is good, everything worked. A good place to sleep centrally in Barcelona, but no facilities or ambience to speak of.

Near Metro and Montjuic and within walking distance of ramblas and restaurants. It was a modern hotel. Very clean. We had a great breakfast.

We enjoyed the stay at the hotel. It was reasonably priced. For the money that I paid, I was very pleased. The staff was very helpful with any questions that I had.

Good location. A good deal for the price. The beds are not comfortable, however I suppose that is the standard for European hotels. This hotel was better than I expected for a 2 star hotel.

The hotel was extremely noisy with doors slamming and outside noise all hours of the night. Avoid the Santander ATM machine below. Crooks are watching to rob you. I saw it first hand. The staff Is helpful but if you want A decent night sleep avoid the room next to the exit door and elevator areas. Also need metro to get to plaza espana and plaza […] catalunya. The hotel was just right - good location, quiet, clean, and comfortable.

If you just want somewhere clean to sleep this place is perfect. There's no point spending time inside a hotel in Barcelona anyway!

Fair value for a hotel in Barcelona. Within walking distance of harbor and restaurants. Small rooms typical of Europe. Air Conditioner was very weak, but WiFi was fair.

We stayed at this hotel for one week. That was much too long. For a night I could over look the condition and noise, but no longer. It was very run down the bathroom made me want to close my eyes and look away. The room was the size of a postage stamp. There wasn't even enough room for our tiny travel cot. Just minutes to subway and Las Ramblas. Wi-fi in rooms except during our stay thoere was a problem for the first 2 days. We used the business center in a sister hotel until problem was resolved. Management was very understanding Very good and reasonable restaraunt, Olivetta, near hotel..

Nice stafff and good hotel, especially for the price.

This hotel is conveniently located on one of the busiest roads in Barcelona, within a 3 minute walk to the closest train station, and within a 15-20 minute walk to Las Ramblas. This was my second stay in the hotel, and I was as happy with my stay this time, as I was the first. Hotel is excellent value for money, its a 2 star hotel but is quite well equipped for the rating. Staff very helpful and friendly too.

Hotel Parallel is friendly, clean, and affordable. We found it to be roughly the same price as a hostel in Barcelona, with more privacy and daily room cleaning. The beds were not extremely comfortable but did the job. Our room had a TV, safe, decent closet space, a fair-sized bathroom, and multiple power outlets. It is slightly annoying that the room […] only has power when you are there (the room key goes into a slot to activate electricity), which means you can't charge a laptop or cell phone while you are gone. The walls are also a bit thin, so we sometimes heard people yelling either on the street outside or in the hallway near the elevator. The desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and there was always at least one person who spoke English fluently. WiFi access is free, though a bit slow. There is one computer in the lobby as well. Beware the continental breakfast -- we thought it was free at first, then later learned it was 9.5 Euros per person. We have stayed 3 nights at this hotel with a small kid and a dog. We liked the location very much as the centre is ina walkable distance or if you are tired and/ or in a hurry taxi to la Rambla would cost you about 5 Euros. Hotel got evrything you need to sleep and have a place to drop your things, but do not expect any luxury, just good quality for […] the money you pay for the room. Hotel Parallel was a great place to stay! The lobby and rooms were very clean and nicely furnished. Our room was much bigger than other hotels in Europe. It was also close to the Parallel metro stop and only a short walk to La Rambla. I certainly would stay here again!

Fairly cheap for Barcelona standards in terms of price, definitely no frills but the neighborhood was safe enough and a great location. Easy walking distance to Las Ramblas, El Barrio Gothic, El Diagonal, and all the Gaudi Buildings. A bit further walk to the beach and the marina, but public transport is literally right outside the door so it is very […] simple and easy to get around from this hotel. For the price paid, very reasonable accomodations, though bring a hair dryer and an iron if you should need one! They do have them, but are usually in use and hard to get a hold of! Aside from the twin beds--apparently all the rooms have twin beds, and ours were rather hard and not very comfy--it was great. We wanted a base to explore the city and this was a good spot, with easy access to the subway, La Rambla, the gothic quarter and etc.

Lage nicht schlecht! 2 Minuten (zu Fuss) von der Metro und ca. 10 Minuten (zu Fuss) vom Zentrum.

I uge 15/2012 havde vi fire overnatninger på hotel Parallel. Opholdet levede til fulde op til vores forventninger. Værelset var nydeligt og rent, beliggenheden optimal i forhold til Metro og ingen problemer med støj. Hotelles morgenmad buffet kan anbefales. Adgang til internet og wifi

då vi endast bodde där l natt kan vi inte säga så mycket om hotellet annat än att vi var helt nöjd under detta dygn.

Imprésionne de la propreté pour un deux étoiles. Seul un peu l'isolation sonore serait à revoir, mais ça ne nous a pas empêcher de bien dormir.

Hyggelig og hjelpsom i resepsjonen. Renhold med smil og Hola! Fint bad med alt fungerer! Rolig og god søvn. Frokost til 10 euro OK Taxi til flyplassen 20 euro. Gode tilbud teater kino (f.eks: Rock the ballet!)

die nächste Metro-Station ist ganz nahe. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und dürfte vor nicht so langer Zeit erst renoviert worden sein. Ich würde wieder dort nächtigen.

Hotellet ligger i en rolig sidegate uten støyende trafikk tidlig om morningen. Valgte dette hotellet på bakgrunn av anmeldelse på nettet, og at det var et rimelig alternativ. Rom og rengjøring bar forøvrig ikke preg av at prisene var rimelige.. Ingen luksus, men fint og rent. Det er kort vei til Metroen, likevel i rimelig gåavstnad sentrum. Utsikten […] vi hadde var ikke særlig spennende, rett i nabobygningen, men så skal man ikke bruke tiden i Barcelona på hotellrommet heller..Vi spiste ikke frokost på hotellet, men fant rimelig og god frokost like i nærheten. Skal en si noe negativt om hotellet, var det noe lytt. Litt irriterende å våkne av lyden av rengjørings-traller som "klikket" forbi døren -litt for tidlig på morningen, hvertfall for oss som ikke var oppe og på plass i frokostsalen kl. 08.00. Men alt i alt godt fornøyd med valg av hotel for 5 dager i Barcelona.. Anbefaler det gjerne til andre som ikke nødvendigvis MÅ bo midt i smørøyet, og til de som heller prioriterer å bruke penger på annet enn dyr overnatting men likevell setter pris på å bo fint og rent... Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä. Kaikki sujui moitteettomasti ja siisteys oli ensiluokkaista. Henkilökunta kyseli oma aloitteisesti, josko tarvitsisimme tietoa nähtävyyksistä jne. Hotellin lähellä on monta hyvää ruokapaikkaa, jotka ovat myös paikallisten suosiossa. Metroasema ihan lähellä. Kävelymatka keskustaan.
