The room was in very nice taste. I would definitely stay there again. As a handicapped person, I would suggest placing the tv on the wall. It is hard to see from lying in the bed depending on your mobility. I would also suggest that you have some method for mobility impaired people to get into the bed. Everything very nice except indoor pool was not heated and remote control for tv did not work.

The front desk service was kind and generous after I came in late at night and had booked for the wrong night. Made it very easy for me to get checked in and to my room quickly. Much appreciated. The room was clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. The best homemade oatmeal!!! None of that instant stuff. Great!

Easy access to hotel and surrounding ammenities. Easy check in and friendly staff. Room was clean. Hotel is working on repairs and a few things left undone in rooms but for the price it was acceptable.

This hotel is alright if you are ok with a little dirt here and there. We found a few dust/hair bunnies behind the bathroom door plus stains here and there. The fridge was noisy, the tv was noisy as the rest of the hotel.

Even though i'd seen the mixed reviews it appeared that this location was on the upswing...WRONG! I stayed two separate times within a week and BOTH rooms were horrible. I could not take a complete shower because of low water pressure and disguisting shower heads. Dirt in the corners of the bathroom. Stains on the carpets in both rooms. Oily stains […] on the headboard. I believe in giving hotels an opportunity to improve, I hope the Country Inn & Suites improves. Excellent staff-close to the airport-great breakfast, good rate-did have 2 washers & 2 dryers, but one of each had been removed. & the only dryer was out of order for the 2 days I was there.Clerk called to check on the room-told him about q-tips left on the floor-still there 2 days later when I left.. Room was quiet and very clean. Bed comfy with a microwave and Fridge in room. Had to catch an early plane and was offered a wakeup call when I checked in. Shuttle to the airport was on time and only less than 5 minutes door to door. I would give this location a 5 star rating, exceeded my expectation.

We found the hotel to be quite adequate for our needs. The amenities were fine. There was a sunflower seed on the carpet and the chairs at the desk in our room and in the business office were way too low for using the computer. The jacuzzi was out of order. The tiny breakfast facility couldn't hold all the guests coming in for breakfast. There was no […] skim milk, or whole grain breads or cereals. However, it was fine for a budget hotel. Although a little old, the hotel was still clean and safe, and the furnishings were still upscale for the money. However, it was a little disappointing that the jacuzzi was not working, only one of the three ice machines worked (and only produced half a bucket of ice before stopping), and the printer was not working in the business center. It appeared […] a new granite countertop had been installed around the sink, but the tears in the wall from removal of the old one had not been repaired and repainted. The room was quiet, and breakfast was nice the next AM. Overall, it was a lot like being at home. Too many things on the honey-do list, and no one doing them. Problems with elevator and electrical - staff got it corrected in a few hours.

A very professional and helpful staff. My only complaints were that the computer that was available to guests was out of order the second day of my two day stay, and the iron in my room didn't work. Overall, due to the outstanding staff, price, comfort and proximity to the airport, I would highly recommend this Inn.

The only complaint I had was the reciptical for the coffee pot and hair dryer was not working. I called it to the attention of the front desk, the girl made a note of it and I am sure it was repaired. This is not a complaint , but rather a recomentation. If you are going to serve eggs, a scrambled egg or anyother kind of hot egg would be better than […] hardboilled eggs.Something about hard boiled eggs for breakfast is kind of repulsive. Motel is older, but that is reflected in the price. I thought it was good value for the price. I would stay here again.

This was our first stay at this hotel. We were very pleased with the friendly staff & overall appearance. Enjoyed the price also!

Spa wasn't working, Room wasn't cleaned at all the second night, but staff was friendly and hotel room was convenient with refrigerator and microwave.

Tile in pool area very slippery.

Despite the family fight outside my room that didn't last very long, everything was great.

The staff were all helpful and courteous. The pool and hot tub were pleasant, as was the breakfast.

Hotel was decent. It was a little worn down in some areas but it was adequate for our overnight stay. The room was clean except for some human DNA stain on the guest chair in the room. Bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was descent as well. I might stay here again if I was passing through.

Nice thick towels; quite; ice machine only on 3rd floor; difficult to get thru to front desk (busy); VERY nice breakfast; hop skip & jump to airport; not spotless, but clean; nice loby, but not there much.

Clean room. Friendly staff. The only complaint was the A/C unit kept going on and off all night. Couldn't get it to keep the fan running for "white noise." Breakfast was ok. Two min from airport entrance.

Very nice. Convenient to several restaurants. We always stay here when we come back home.

close to air-port

This hotel was conveniently located near the airport. I found out after I checked in that they do have a shuttle to and from the airport. I had a rental car to return in the morning, so that I why I chose it. Everyone was very friendly and the room clean. This Country Inn & Suites is a great hotel and I have stayed in a LOT of them, from Iowa, to Texas to Tennessee, etc...the staff actually looks out for the guest and is helpful and knows the area. If you are going to Knoxville or Maryville, forget those towns and stay in ALCOA right by the Knoxville airport. I am staying there from now on, Marriott […] can eat it! Читати далі

Had problem with toliet did not flush well. Spa had thick brown ring around it.Our non-smoking room had a moldy smell and cigarette smoke could be smelled from the smoking room above us.Sheets had stains and cigarettes holes in them.No other rooms were availible,hotel all booked up. Nothing was said or done to make us happy with our stay.

Everything about the hotel was great except the smoke smell of the room. I had no idea a smoking room would reek so badly of smoke. Of course I did know i was getting a smoking room (non-smoking wasn't available when I booked a room) but have had smoking rooms before that didn't take my breath away every time I walked in. We had a portable room filter […] fan and sprayed lysol which helped. Next time I'll know better. On a lighter note, there were lots of places to eat, kids can watch the airplanes take of and land and the pool and hot tub were satisfactory. All employees encountered were friendly and professional. The room was clean and as described. The ironing board was missing, but when I called down they brought one right away. The stay was comfortable and quiet.

This was our first time to stay at a Country Inn & Suites, and we were satisfied with the property. Our room was a bit small, and the personnel were pleasant. It was clean and safe; those were the important attributes.

Second stay in this hotel within a month. The people have been friendly and met our needs. The hotel has been very quiet even though it is adjacent to a highway, and across the highway from TYS airport. We used the pool for an afternoon, and we were the only ones there.
