the pool with out of service, sauna with out of service and the gym was closed as well.

Well, besides the green water in the pool and the daily construction noise and no workout room, the garden view was lovely. The front desk person was friendly and the free pancakes were a plus! I just wish I knew about the pool, workout room, and construction.

The hotel was rundown. The bathtub was peeling and the water pressure wasn't good, the fabric on the furniture in the room was torn or fraying off. There was only a thin bed cover and sheets, no blankets. The walls were paper thin I could hear everyone inside and out. I got about 4 hours of sleep that night. The hair dryer was coming off the wall too. […] The furniture in itself didn't look the cleanest either. The hotel was located in a bad neighborhood and quite frankly I didn't feel very safe. The service sucked. The man at the front desk kept calling a woman named Ruth for help and she never showed up. He kept yelling for her instead of picking up the phone and dialing an extension. Some facts: 1. Hotel is also a Greyhound bus stop; 2. My room had a broken air conditioner, broken window, filthy carpets and drape and an uncleaned fridge and microwave; 3. Entire hotel smells of smoke and almost every guest smoked; 4. Many guest are apparenly migrant workers and I observed more than four men per room. First time using hotels .com, wish id cross referenced with yelp. the amenities listed were no where to be found, EVERYTHING in the room was broken, and the apparently permanent guests next door had a violent domestic dispute spilling into the patio / hallway, that kept me from being able to open my door or leave when I needed to. I'm not even sure […] i got the discount on the credit card which was the only reason I picked the place from the hotels.com list. This motel seemed to have a regular clientele. they were not the problem: theworst problem was that there was on cold water in the shower. Motel staff friendly. In the room, a light was missing. There was no chair. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast of pancakes, orange juice and coffee was okay.

Room very clean, recently upgraded, comfy bed, got a crib for the baby, bathroom clean, pancakes for breakfast was great, and loved the fact that a small restaurant was attached to hotel. I spend many nights a year "sleeping around." This property has been upgraded with some nice amenities, but it's still a very old building... therefore limited electrical outlets. The staff are friendly. The room was spacious. There is a restaurant and a store next to the hotel. I thought that came in handy. I wouldn't mind staying there again.

On the positive side: Decent motel. Room was clean. Staff provided good customer service. On the negative side: Old and tired motel. Location was out of the way. Near Greyhound bus stop so it was a little busy and noisy outside.

Old dirty. We had 2 holes in windows from bullets.

Was a little disappointed in the bed comfort and the fact there was no clock in the room and the water pressure for the hot water was severely lacking. I have stayed there before in a different room which was much better.

This hotel definitely has nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable for a one night stay before our bicycle race. The pancake breakfast had a bunch of people sitting at tables waiting so we went elsewhere for breakfast.

The hotel was convenently located. Once we entered the property we were dissappointed however, the room was in even more dissappointing. Drapes were torn and ragged. The beading was frayed and needed replacing and the carpet also needed cleaning. At checkout we had to send someone out to find the desk clerk.

I really enjoyed the pancake breakfast and the food at the Hotel. I believe the rooms and the beds should be updated for comfort. The full size bed in my room 102 was slated and the edges were hanging over the sides, which made for a very uncomfortable nights rest as I in turn had to share a bed with my daughter. The Days Inn in Santa Rosa has a nice staff and they do the best they can given the crack heads and prostitutes that are just outside exercising their right to free assembly. The rooms are clean and if noise doesn't bother you, you will sleep well.

My stay at Days Inn Santa Rosa was good. Theroom was clean but dated and could use some TLC. The doorknob to the bathroom was loose and the towel rack was falling off the wall. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. The free pancakes for breakfast was very confusing. Nobody was given any instructions how it works so everyone was kind […] of standing around wondering what to do or how to get breakfast. I eventually gave up. One nice thing is that attached to the hotel is a 24 hour convenience store. They have way more than most hotel lobby stores and you can shop any time. Tub dripped and vanity faucet hardly put out any water..Had to call for towels & wash clothes, but response was quick. I would think that this would not be the case for ALL rooms. Room was clean and adequate. Have stayed at several Days Inn and have had no problems in recent past.

Rates very excellent, room clean, people very helpful and friendly. Would go back.

Nothing works but it's advertised to have pool hot ect. The free breakfast haha is pancakes only from 7am to 9am. Annoying after a long day of walking! Restaurant is inside convience store.

Okay, so this is the first time we stayed at a Motel in the United States and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the service that we received... Reading previous reviews, I think this hotel used to be old and dirty. When we visited, most of the rooms were being completely redone. We got a room with new carpet, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, free WiFi, ice, laundry facilities and free pancakes in the morning. for the price paid, excellent value for the money.

The positives for this place: Rooms were clean and like others said, adequate for spending the night. It is ok for that. I did not think it was a bad neighborhood. There is a trailer court on one side of it. That does not make it bad. There is an X-rated bookstore down the street but I didn't see any effect on the safety of the facilities. If anything, […] it might be a "poor" neighborhood where people of lower income levels might live. Weekends the hotel is booked more and there is usually a band or music played at the bar attached to the hotel but I didn't hear any noise. The AC was not up to snuff as it wasn't as cold as I would like it. I was here four nights and during the week, the place was empty. It does appear that they have people living here on inner courtyard side but I usually was gone in the morning so I never saw anything of concern. Never used the swimming pool but it looked clean and saw that some people used it occasionally. Negatives: 1. THERE IS NO GYM/FITNESS CENTER...as they advertise on their web site and on hotels.com and every other web site. There was one...but the contract ran out and they left. I like to work out and so book places that have a place to do so on my trip. If you are the same...DON'T BOOK THIS PLACE! BREAKFAST: It was a joke. Go eat somewhere else. It was two pancakes and coffee. You had to ask for orange juice. They didn't offer it or advertise it and you had to ask for the pancakes too. When I asked for more pancakes, the waitress had to go ask permission. They did offer breakfast as if they were a restaurant but that was something you had to pay for and Denny's would be a better choice. Mantinence: The ice machine was broken. Outside light posts were broken. Their place on the outside would scare people because it wasn't well maintained like I was use to with Day's Inns. It was like a Days Inn want-a-be. The photos of hotel's rooms online are either not this hotel or not the room they give you. The room received was filthy and broken. The chain lock for door was ripped off, no remote control for TV (even request for one from front desk was not accommodated) and interior of room was falling apart. We could not tolerate staying even one night and since […] the room was non-refundable, we ended up moving to a nice Hampton Inn and paying for two hotels every night. The hotel is not too bad considering the price. It smelled a bit and the air conditioner wasn't working well, but the room itself and bed was fairly comfortable. The location was extremely convinient to downtown and plenty of shopping plazas. I would consider staying there again.

Motel and rooms smelled like smoke. I was bit by an unknown insect while I slept. The view was of a rusty trailer park. The water smelled awful. As I was walking to my room on the top floor I passed a room with bullet holes in the window OMG!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

The Days Inn was just ok. The store n restaurant were handy. The place was clean but having the trailer park to look at out the front window was a buzz kill. It did the job for a last minute trip. It could use a remodel soon. Happy traveling!!

Beds wer as hard as cement. Lots of night life at this hotel

Although the service was fine, and the bed was fairly comfortable, the room was in need of some serious maintenance. ie, loose faucet, toilet leaking, lamp shade ripped & falling off, peep hole in door open with kleenix stuffed in it, and could definately use a coat or two of paint.

overall the stay was excellent the bed was very comfortable and the room quiet and clean. I had trouble understanding why there was NO food service between 10am and 5pm. The person at the front desk was not helpful in even knowledge about area takeout, delivery so we walked down to the mall to find something to eat.

Returned Sunday afternoon after Iron man Compotition only to EXTREMLY loud music Blasting from pool area. We were informed it would go on till 8 pm WOW

They do what they can do, given a worn out hotel and surroundings with shops and industry Low prices and price worthy. Good pool but you get what you for, luxury wise...

We were very happy with the location, great staff,clean room and great for the price. We were there for 3 nights but we left in the morning and returned late at night so we did not go for the free breadfast or anything else they offered.

While the location is a 30 minute drive from San Francisco if traffic is reasonable, this hotel is easily reachable and a good value for the price. The included pancake breakfast we had both days were delicious. The kids loved it.

I could not get in my room on every occasion that I had returned. The front desk was satisfied with sending someone with me each time instead of fixing the problem. The hotel did offer to move me to another room, it was not the same room type-not even close smoking, one bed instead of two and the biggest concern was it faced Highway 101!

Older hotel in rundown neighborhood. Maintenance in rooms has not been kept up. Hotel is also the local Greyhound bus line stop. Below average location and several miles from downtown.

My family of 4 which includes 2 little ones stayed at this hotel for 1 night to go to SSU graduation. I would stay again. It wasn't great but good enough. The hotel advertises Free Continental Breakfast, on line. But they offer only Pan Cake and coffee free of charge. Week-end the music noise from the Bar was too laud for too long.
