This hotel is located in one of the worst and very dangerous areas of Stockton. The parking lot was visited frequently by cars full of young men who drove through slowly and then left. This hotel was clean and close to downtown Stockton. It's not fancy, but if you're on a budget then it's adequate.

My one night stay was comfortable. Surprised that there was a microwave AND frig in room, also surprised that no coffee maker, but all was in good order and exceed my expectations!
Its not worth the price...police came to the vicinity 3x..I have no peace of mind. Upon arrival it feels like not a safe neighborhood..i was scared somebody will vandalize my suv..but it was convenient very close to i5.

"Great Little Hotel in Stockton"
I really like this hotel for the price. Convenient location and friendly staff. If you dont like the neighborhood, remember people, this is Stockton, after all! I have stayed here about five times in the past two years and would not hesitate to book this great little hotel again.

I have stayed here before. It was as good as last time. The room was comfortable and clean. The service was first rate. This was very convinient as a stop in between our road trip. It is located just off the freeway. We didnt go out, since we had pizza delivered, so I really dont know what the surrounding area is like. All I know is that it looked kinda industrial. The staff was very nice as well.

Convient location right off the highway, but not a lot of noise inside the rooms. Staff was friendly and very helpful about directions. The location is right across from some factory and there were signs out front warning of chemicals causing cancer being found in the area, lol I didnt stay outside long...

Difficult to access from freeway. We had 3 rooms and the refrigerators in 2 did not work properly (one leaked water). The drawers were dirty and the doors were sticky. "Very Bad area-shady folks stay here."
This has to be a drug deal hotel. The group next door was acting sly and shady/ people in and out all night. Noisy bunch upstairs moving furniture or some awful thing. Cars cruise through with booms pounding. Not near anything. I was scared to go outside. Nice room though. But stay away!!!! There are better areas for same price.

I was honestly pleasantly surprises. This was a bargain rate and some of the ratings posted here were harsh so I was not expecting much. The rooms were a decent size and came with a microwave and fridge which I did not need for my overnight stay however it was nice to know for future stays. The staff were pleasant. This hotel seems family-run and the service was so friendly. I locked myself out of my hotel twice and each time, the hotel concierge cheerfully created a new key. "Hotel Manager didnt like the low rate i paid!"
The whole time I was being checked in the hotel manager kept asking me about the low rate i got. He didnt mention anything about free breakfast and didnt even supply a code to the internet. He just kept saying how low of a rate i paid???

They should just give up on the breakfast, it was a joke! It was empty when I entered at 9am and they told me they don't refill anything. "Clean, cheap, noisy"
The price was right and the room was clean, but you could clearly hear people talking outside the room and people stomping around in the room above. You could also hear the adjacent freeway very clearly. We won't be stopping there overnight again!

The staffs were so friendly and approachable. The hotel room is clean and the renovation was done properly. This hotel location is so easy to find. This is my 3rd time in this hotel and still i can stay the same hotel next time. The price is also great at affordable.
For the price, it was acceptable. One problem was no soap or shampoo, but still worth the price and the day staff was nice.
"Cheap Hotel, Convenient location, that's all"
The staff was nice and it was cheap, but the room was in rather worn condition and there were strange characters staying there. The hole in the wall, lumpy bed, drafty door, bathroom with substantial wear and tear didn't result in a comfortable stay. Basically, we got what we paid for rather than a good deal.

Facility was terrible. I needed to stuff the door jambs w/ towels, brochures, etc. to lessen hwy noise w/ a door that was damaged from, what looked like, a previous break-in attempt. I am not sure if they are low on linens or just not willing to share. I have stayed at this location on previous occasions. Usually I have to ask for extra washcloths since they only put one in the room. On my last stay, I had a room with one queen and one king bed. There was a whopping TWO washcloths in the room. Our room was facing the freeway and there was a visible gap in the door letting in a lot of cold air and niose. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast left much to be desired and the location was difficult to find.

"Very dirty room"
The room was very dirty. The bathroom had long black hair on the floor and in the shower. I used sandals while in the room and taking a shower. I reported this to the receptionist and was told the cleaning staff would be informed however I did not feel the response was earnest. The breakfast was very poor.

The roof was newly refurnished, clean, and beds were comfortable. The shower had a minor leak at the base, and the toilet required two flushes-neither really bothered us. I stayed at this hotel while doing business in Stockton. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and nice. The only drawback is the location. It's not horrible, but it's not the safest feeling area.

there are several cheap places to stay in stockton but the reason this place stands above the rest is because the staff is courteous and helpful, the hotel rooms are recently renovated and clean, and you get a microwave & refrigerator in your room. not to mention, they have pastries for you in the morning and HBO in the room. highly recommended!

"Good cheap hotel on I-5"
Pretty standard cheap hotel. Didn't have any problems with noise, but we did request a room on the opposite side of the building from the freeway. The continental breakfast was not very good and the coffee was horrible, but expected for the price. Overall, a fine place for one night while on the road to better destinations.
