I really enjoyed staying here. It was clean, updated and the free breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again. It's a busy hotel.

"Springhill Suites Downtown Seattle"
Chose this hotel for the distance from the Convention & Trade Center for Sakura Con. It was less than a ten minute walk, and very nicely placed. Even walking there after 11pm was easy and there weren't any creeps to be found. Service was great, front desk couldn't be more helpful. They even held our bags after checkout until we had to take the bus home […] so we didn't have to carry the luggage everywhere. Internet was great/free. The complementary breakfast was amazing. I was expecting just a few pastries and whatnot left out, expecting to be cold but it was just wonderful. Fresh food, all types of breakfast items. They even had individual waffle makers with your choice of blueberry and regular batter! Completely forgot about the pool, but I will definitely check it out at next year's convention! "Great Place, super clean and they have a shuttle"
Super clean. The people working there were friendly and courteous. Has a very nice indoor pool and spa, and fitness room. They also have a nice bar and restaurant. They have a shuttle service (only goes to a couple places, but it's great nonetheless)
"Great Gym across the street/Parking expensive"
The extras were nice. Breakfast buffet was pretty good, the gym across the street is a great value, the pool and hot tub are small, the hotel people are very helpful and friendly and the only thing is that the parking was expensive. It is easy to find off I5 and close enough to downtown sights so that walking them is okay.

Comfortable room and bed and wireless access! Free shuttle bus to some important places. Service is good too. Will recommend to others.
"Disorganized when full"
This hotel was clean and modern and everyone was very nice. We stayed overnight on St. Patrick's day. They seemed to be shocked and overwhelmed by how busy they were. They offered a shuttle service to run to the downtown attractions every hour on the hour. We showed up for our shuttle ontime only to be told that there were so many ppl we would have […] to wait 25 mins for another one to our destination. To go home we were told a shuttle would come upon our calling the hotel. We called ( with 2 small kids) only to be told the shuttle was full and they didnt want to send it out again. The pool was dirty ( blood stained on the side) and way too crowded to make use of. At 2am we were awakened by drunks literally screaming and pounding on doors outside our room. The following morning the breakfast room was full with no one organizing sitting so that ppl with children could have breakfast. We were asked to sit in the lounge where children were not allowed and given dirty looks until we eventually gave up on breakfast all together. we won't be back. Читати далі

"watch room location"
Another hotel messed up my reservation, so I ended up here at the last minute and found the staff to be terrific. The room was comfortable and clean. The price was great. I would recommend asking for a room opposite the traffic noise. It was very noisy due to the cars outside.

"Lots of Amenities"
I would definitely stay here again. I chose the hotel for price and location and was surprised at all the amenities. Free shuttle to/from Westlake Center, Convention Center, or Space Needle; free hot breakfast including eggs, oatmeal, and 2 other hot things plus regular continental choices; swimming pool; free access to a 24-hour gym across the street; […] and of course a business center. Clean, comfortable rooms that were well laid-out. The people were all very nice and helpful. My only warning is to wear a seatbelt on the shuttle ride, because the drivers take corners faster than I would prefer. Also, the surrounding neighborhood is ugly and half the rooms face the interstate, so there's constant road noise. This didn't bother me. Though the location is ugly, there are a million buses that pass nearby, so it was easy to get where I wanted to go. When I go to Seattle again, I'd like to stay here for longer. "Great service"
We stayed over the Christmas holiday and were very pleased with the friendly, helpful and attentive service we received. Even though many things were closed (including the restaurant) because of Christmas, they had other offerings available to accomodate guests. Our room was clean, well stocked and quiet. "Very convenient location."
The hotel is located close to everything and within walking distance.
Second time here. Like it. Will stay again, but disappointing that turning up thermostat made no change in temperature of the room. Lucky we were visiting family and sight-seeing -- using room only to shower and sleep. "Pre-Cruise Stay"
My wife and I stayed here prior to taking a cruise from Seattle. While the location is not "downtown" the location is convenient to the downtown. My wife and I were able to walk everywhere. The hotel has a breakfast buffet - hot food choices were good. The staff maintained the cleanness of the area, as well as the lobby area. The front desk staff […] is knowledgeable of the area and were very helpful in selecting tours and arranging transportation when requested The room was clean, well-stocked with amenities and maintained appropriately. I agree with some of the other reviews that this hotel could be in a nicer neighborhood and closed to the attractions. But not to the extent that I wouldn't stay here again. Overall, i was very pleased with our stay and my wife and I plan on returning.

"Close for me and food is good."
I have stayed here before because it is close to where I have to do work. My work runs late in the evening and the bar serves food until 10:00pm
"within reach"
The hotel is OK, but located directly next to the highway so if you are not able to tune-out traffic noise you may want to look somewhere else. Breakfast is included but don't be surprised if it reminds you on McDonalds' ... (scrambled eggs with sausages and potatoes - even the coffee is not much different).
Would certainly stay at the Springhill Suites again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was varied and generous. The staff were most helpful and attentive.
Great room, excellent service, good breakfast. Use their shuttle to get to central locations for public transit.

Overall our experience was a mixed bag. The willingness of staff to help us find a comfortable room (free upgrade) offset the surrounding neighborhood, which was surprisingly sketchy-looking. "You get what you pay for"
It was the most inexpensive hotel when I was looking to book near Seattle Center over the Labour Day weekend and I wasn't expecting superior service or a brand new/newly renovated hotel. The service was mediocre/unpredictable. Sometimes you would get a very helpful and knowledgeable staff member and other times they seemed pretty bored with life! The […] rooms were relatively clean. The GREAT thing about the place was that they offered a free HOT breakfast in the morning! That made the stay completely worth while. Also they had a shuttle that took you to and from downtown and into Seattle Centre. You could even walk to those destinations from there it was so close. "Business Owner"
It was apparent to me the hotel works at minimum in several areas. there were minimal people at the front desk. towels were minimal, and the sheets on the bed were below standard. they would not stay tucked in and appeared to be stretched beyond good use. for the rate of this hotel, overall it was disappointing.

Great Hotel, good food, & good service.
We stayed there one night before our cruise in Alaska. The hotel is a little bit far by walk from major attractions of Seattle (Space Needle, Pike Market). The neighborhood is not attractive with very few dining options, so you can't - or you might not want - go out in the evening for a short walk. There is a free shuttle (every top hour) for Seattle […] downtown but hard to get. We went to the reception at 2:15pm to ask for a shuttle and they said that the one at 3pm is full and there are only two seats left for the one at 4pm; so we walked. The pool is rather small for this hotel category. The room is big for two persons, not for four. There are indeed a king bed and a sofa-bed, but the later is not big enough for two and the mattress is rather old. Rooms are very clean as for the rest of the hotel. "Basic digs"
This is your basic newer hotel. Seattle has some great classic style hotels but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable family style place with a pool, this isn't a bad spot.
"Don't Waste Your Money"
This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had - and I travel a lot and stay in a lot of places. The internet connection was completely unusable either by WiFi or LAN connection from the room. The buffet was mediocre and the dining area seemed like an after-thought. They were not equipped for the number of people they had staying in the hotel. […] Also, even though the hotel description states valet parking is available for a surcharge, it does not state that you have NO other options. It was expensive and a huge inconvenience. Also, the staff was unable to assist with directions or using the transit system in town. We were there for a night and the hotel met all our needs. The breakfast buffet was excellant. The staff very friendly. The hotel room was comfortable and very clean.

Once again, Marriott has met and exceeded my expectations. I trust this hotel chain to be consistent in every state that I travel too and so far I have never been disappointed.
