This is a wonderful hotel for a private getaway. I always go in May when SOBE is less hectic and I love it. The staff is attentive but not intrusive. The pool area is generally quiet and calm which is what I'm looking for. The studio room is perfect for me--lots of space and very minimal in its decor which I also prefer. The kitchen is a real plus especially […] since i like to have breakfast in the room. As a woman traveling alone, the Sagamore is private and doesn't have a pick-up scene. At first we were disappointed as they promised us check in by 4pm and we had to wait beyond that. To compensate, we received a round of free drinks (8 in our bachelorette party) and got upgraded to bungalows. The service was great. Hotel is right on the beach. Pool is descent. Overall a great experience at a fabulous hotel!

the hotel works well if your looking for a nice clean family oriented South Beach stay. Very relaxing atmosphere with out the crowd that you normally see on S.B.

very nice and stylish hotel. however, some staff could be friendlier, specially the young guy at the pool. I mean it's his job to prepare your chair. One shouldn't feel bad for asking him to do so.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful. There were 5 of us staying in an ocean bungalow suite, which you'd think would be crowded, but two floors gave us room to maneuver. I found that the beach and pool attendant service was the best. The maid and room service were not as great. The hotel location is perfect right next to lincoln rd.

The Sagamore is a wonderful boutique hotel nestled amongst the high profile luxury hotels of South Beach. good location, but everything in the room felt like it was in need of replacement. I stayed in a bungalow suite, which just meant I had to carry my suitcase up a spiral staircase to get to my bedroom. I'm sure this place was really something in the 80's but now it comes off as quaint at best.

very pricey ...Even if generally it wasn't a bad hotel....but the price vs quality is not worth it ( i paid 500 $ per night)

Clean room, friendly stuffs, charged the price of a 4.5 star hotel but looks like a 3.5. I paid to upgrade to sagamore suite. The room doesn't event have a bath tub and open the window you look directly into other ppl's room. Don't worth the $$ overall.

Room was well appointed if a little worn. The suite was worth the additional charge. Walls were thin but it was not a major problem. Location was nice as it was close to some great restaurants and shoppping. Overall I think it was good value and would stay there again.

The hotel staff are terrific! The hotel itself, not so much. I travel quite a bit and this hotel is in a great location but the building itself is very dated. For example, while taking a shower impossible to keep water from running onto the floor. Eventually we used towels to keep it from running out but it is an old tub with lots of caulk and just […] a poor design. We were in room 502 which faced the street. Even though we were on the 5th floor, the noise outside was right close and personal throughout the night, not much insulation or soundproofing. The windows were very old from the 50's it looked like to me, some workeed some didn't. The furniture throughout the hotel was very worn. Most of it was white but many scuffs, stains and just general wear and tear. The main lobby was pretty good bout once past that things were very worn out. Cushions around pool...yep you guessed it worn and stained. I coould go on but i think you get the picture. On a positive note, great location, great beach and shopping at Lincoln Rd. beautiful, clean white room overlooking ocean; super comfy bed and chaise lounges; nice staff bringing (typically) overpriced drinks to us poolside, etc. Basically, covers all the creature comforts without going overboard in the conspicuous consumption department. Great pool area Elevator was broken for 2 days and had to lug own luggage up 4 flights of stairs, Room has not been renovated in 15 years, NO water pressure whatsoever, for the price and star rating unacceptable

Terrific location; easy walk to main areas, including Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, and the beach directly adjacent to hotel. Staff, every one of them totally friendly and gladly helpful. Some great art in hotel to appreciate. Buffet breakfast excellent. Pool and surrounding area wonderful.

While the location of the Sagamore can't be beat, I was a little concerned that the hotel was past its prime. I was pleasantly surprised to find a well maintained and clean hotel in the heart of South Beach. The service I received at the Sagamore was unbelievable. I was treated as if I were the President of the United States or something. When I return to Miami for another visit, I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

This was my second time staying at the Sagamore and both experiences were wonderful! The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, and the hotel, my room, and the pool were all kept in great shape.

Pretty worn hotel given the expectations and price, have stayed at several hotels in miami beach in the same price range, all of which were higher quality and better experiences. This hotel looks like it was popular about 10 years ago, when they did the last paint job.

The hotel is in the perfect location! All amenities you need: a swimming pool, the gym, parking, the beach. The stuff is very courteous. If I go to Miami Beach again I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Very nice trendy beachfront South Beach Hotel. Rooms spacious and very clean, very friendly staff always keen to help. As with most hotels the food and drinks are slightly expensive. Nice bar area but very quiet.

Although the room's information binder says they did a major reno in 2006 (I think), the rooms are in need of re-modelling and more than just paint. The design and style is fine but the furniture itself was somewhat scuffed and banged up. The tile in the bathroom and throughout the room needs updating. the bathtub needs to be replaced (even though it's […] a whirlpool bath I wouldn't have used it). There was a fridge in the room and when I opened the freezer there was a very strong fishy smell. Also the wifi at the hotel didn't have a strong enough signal to reach our room (consistently) and definitely couldn't reach their beach section at all. I was surprised to find at check in that the hotel had no balconies to enjoy/smoke on in there suites for the extream price I paid for 1 night. The art in the hotel was garbage for being called the "Art Hotel". Wasn't aware you couldn't smoke in the rooms at all or a $250 cleaning fee would be charged if smoke was smelled at clean up. The windows in […] the rooms are nailed shut so you can't even enjoy the beach breeze or escape in case a fire for that matter. I found a pubic hair in the bathroom tub which deterred me from using the jetted tub. Also got to love the handful of $10 waters, juices, alcohols, snacks, cokes, ect that were way over priced laying around the room. I have stayed in MUCH nicer hotel suites at the Waldof Astoria for only $250 a night! I only booked this room because it was walking distance from the event I came to Miami to see and all the other hotels I wanted were booked. Guess I'll be planning in advanced next time so I don't get stuck here again. But hey if your a rich non smoker you may enjoy staying here if all you do is use the room for sleep. Читати далі

Our room was awful, no view , housekeeping was always late to clean our room, miscommunication problems between front desk and beach, four days in a row we were asked to pay for our beach chairs even it was included in our package. New hotel or new management they have a lot to learn.

Location was perfect, it was beach front and right in the middle of south beach busy area. it was easy to access to Beach and dining. we arrived really late night due to our airline delay, but front desk staff was very friendly and even upgraded us to the penthouse suite without any extra. that was such nice! btw, […] hotel itself didn't seem meet typical 4 star hotel we used to so it was disappointing even we stayed at the penthouse suite. it seems more like regular 3.5 hotel condition. we purchased the Sagamore plan which included breakfast buffet, Beach chair, and wireless internet for $18.99, it was good deal for all three But breakfast was really bad, there were not much option to eat and pancakes were hard. for general, staff were friendly and room upgrade was so nice, but breakfast could be really improve. I went to the sagamore for location, kind of cool hotel, and the pool. All of the above were pretty good. The hotel was not that clean, common areas better than my room. Without being too graphic my standards for a clean bathroom are higher than what was presented.
