Mercure Hotel Windsor Auckland - Окленд

I was pleasantly surprised at how large my room and bathroom was when I arrived but despite double glazed windows the noise from Queen Street in the evening meant I was glad I'd brought earplugs with me. I also found the bed very comfortable. I didn't eat at the hotel due to the close proximity to great cafes and restaurants. We had just stayed at the Mercure in Queenstown so I knew what I was getting us into but I had hoped for better. Just as in Queenstown we got a lower rate room so I was fully expecting a well worn room but what we got was a foul smelling room. I didn't even make it into the door before my husband said 'We aren't staying in this room'. The heavy smoke […] and general odor from the room was very potent but I was horrified to have to go down and exchange rooms, I don't want to be a picky guest and I don't like putting people out but my husband insisted since we had a 'No Smoking' reservation that we should get a room that hadn't been smoked in. The gentleman at the front desk exchanged our room without a word and the second room was better. It was well worn but clean and very large. It was more in-line with what I was expecting. This is a very minor thing, but I did notice and it did detract further from our stay, that the area that our room looked out on was the roof of a lower section of the building and it had lots of trash on it. Tissues, containers, just not what you want to see at any place you stay - no matter the price. And lastly, parking was a bit more than I had expected so be in the know. Читати далі

Really pleased with the Mercure Windsor, excellent position and best value accommodation throughout NZ.. Only downside was the street noise but as our visit coincided with a Fri and Sat night perhaps not unexpected. Sunday was alot quieter. I cannot understand the high ratings given to this hotel by previous travelers. My wife and I were VERY disappointed, and giving it a "2" is generous. Strongly advise that you try one of the other 2 Mercures in Auckland. The hotel's position on Queen Street is ideal for access to the waterfront and ferries. It is small but ideal for a short stay in the city. The special offer on the breakfast was particularly welcome, as was the free internet in the lobby. Look for special deals for your stay there.

The Hotel is very close to the harbor, also close to shopping and the train station. Just a short walk from having coffee overlooking the harbor. I enjoyed the mall nearby and the shops close by. The little cafes on the side streets were very nice to sit at. Was fun being in downtown Auckland on a sunny day.

The hotel is well situated in the city centre and represents good value for money. Comfortable if unexceptional rooms

Good rate compared to other hotels in this location. Older hotel that has been remodeled, but very nice.

The reception staff were extraordinarily helpful with everything and are probably amongst the best I've come across. Rooms are excellent.........The only gripe I have about the hotel is the 'fitness room', which is basically just a couple of treadmills and a single weight machine.

Great value for money, although it was nothing special this hotel was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean - what more can you ask for!!

Hotel is ideally located. Room smelt slightly damp and windows don't open. Internet in room did not work but there is internet available at a terminal in the lobby. Room comfortable with a small kitchenette.

I would stay at this hotel again. It was in a convenient location.

Ligger perfekt nära hamnen på Queens street och utgör en bra bas för en upptäckt av Auckland..

Nära till all transport, flygbussen stannade precis utanför. Mitt i centrum, nära till hamnen. Mycket bra hotell till det priset, inga klagomål alls på rum eller allmän service. Bra fungerande internet på rummet (extra kostnad). Fick ett bättre rum än vad jag betalat för, så jag hade kök i rummet - mycket praktiskt. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Enda […] nackdelen var att vattnet i duschen var snudd på kallt när jag först anlände; de andra gångerna jag använde duschen var det dock hett vatten. Hade inte heller någon vidare utsikt från rummet, men man är ju hur som helst mest bara på rummet för att vila/sova/äta. Frukostbuffén var dock ej prisvärd, bättre att gå ut och äta frukost på något café, fanns mycket bra frukostserveringar i närheten. My impression of the hotel is that it has a very good location, but it is a little in the shadow of the bigger sister hotel. The service was good and the personell did everything they could to give the best service. The thing I was less impressed about was that I was checked in to a room at the first floor, and was first disturbed by the nightclub next […] door, and when they stopped the builder started to drill the concrete floor instead. So if you get a room at the first floor be aware of the disturbance. I complained about the noice and the last night they gave me another room. Читати далі

excellent location, clean rooms and helpful staff, but they seemed to have a restoration progress going on (a lot of noise from 07.00 in the morning..this was on July 2011) Aside from the noisy part this is an excellent choise.

Nice hotel. Wasn't pleased whit the first room i got, no window to open, but went down no worrys and they found an other room. Good service, can't be more central

Hotellet var mycket bra med ett extremt bra läge på Queens street, centralt. Personalen i receptionen var ytterst vänlig, uppmärksam och ett föredöme hur receptionsanställda skall vara, serviceinriktad, trevlig och vänlig. En stor eloge till främst en ung man som hjälpte mig med att byta rum, ett föredöme för receptionspersonal.

C'est propre, c'est l'essentiel, et l'équipe et sympa. Ce qui choque, c'est la déco bien kitch, moquettes partout, sombre, et serrures des portes qui n'inspirent pas confiance en terme de sécurité.

Très bien situé à 2 minutes du port et 5 du Skytower. Un bus direct vers/du l'aéroport.

利便性、融通、清潔さなどすべてにおいて料金からするととても満足できるホテルです。カードキーなのでセキュリティ面も問題なく安心して滞在できました。

A part la situation géographique proche des bus du train, des commerces et des attractions touristiques et mis à part le monsieur qui parle Français et qui est vraiment génial, c' est un hotel quelconque et surtout le ménage dans les chambres laisse à désirer
