Hotel Villa del Parco - Рим

This is great little boutique hotel where the staff is anxious to attend to guests individual needs. It is also extremely reasonable. We will stay there the next time we visit Rome. It is the kind of place that one may consider home away from home.

Has a certain old fashioned charm. However it was a good 15-20 minute walk away from the nearest metro and after a long day walking around Rome, another 20 minute walk was the last thing needed. Very little by way of restaurants or places to eat nearby, so a trip closer to town was a must if you wanted to eat.

Very good value. Very good breakfast service. Staff freindly more or less. Weird wi-fi policy. They give you a code for 5 hours and it counts even if you are just connected. Painful. You have to go and ask another code, or logoff everytime you are not using to conserve time. In this day and age? The hotel is very welcoming, the staff always aim to please even if you only know a few italian words! Breakfast is lovely and charges for additional items are reasonable. The location is great, on the main road into Rome which is either a 30 min walk to the Trevi or 5 - 10 min right on the bus to the centre. The only thing that let down this hotel […] was the shower curtain that looked like it had been there as long as the Forum with orange staining half way up! real shame otherwise top marks! Our stay in this hotel was great. We loved the fact it was old and cosy, much better then modern, sterile hotels with no character. It's an old villa full of charm with lots of original features and lovely high ceilings. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was small and had a lovely atmosphere. We were traveling with our adult daughter - she said her single bed was the most comfortable of any in Italy. Our triple room had lots of space and both the room and the outdoor courtyard space were gracious and serene after a busy day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was terrific - many pastries, tortes and cakes, yogurt, fresh fruit, meat and […] cheese, cereal, water and juices and tea, and of course individual pots of coffee of your choice. The hotel staff spoke English fluently, which was a tremendous help to us. The front desk staff alerted us to a bus and metro strike the day we had tickets to the museum - and she called a taxi for us to help us arrive in time. The location is convenient to a bus stop which takes you to Piazza Venezia - walking distance to the Forum, Colleseum, Pantheon, and many fountains. 10 minutes walk to metro and 10 minutes metro to the centre. A good room, although quite close to the main road. Cleaned daily, but slightly tired. Friendly and helpful staff. A good quality and tasty buffet breakfast.

Faded charm has been used in other reviews for this hotel and I would agree. We stayed in the cheapest option and I think the more expensive options may have been more modern and luxurious. However, we loved our room and found it very comfortable- the furniture may have been a little old but this added to the charm and did not detract from our enjoyment […] of our holiday. The bed was comfortable and made beautifully every day- the bathroom was clean and new towels provided each day. We thought the breakfast buffet was excellent providing a whole range of foods- cereals, fruit, milk, juice, bread, cheese, ham, cake and pastries- hot drinks were freely available and served with a smile. The buffet staff were helpful and friendly. This friendliness went for the reception staff too who advised on what to do and where to go- nothing was too much trouble, Trams and buses went from outside the hotel to the city centre but we mainly used the Bologna Metro station which was a 10 minutes walk away; the hotel was also conveniently placed for Tiburtini railway station from which trains went directly to Fiumicino Airport- this was about a 25 minute walk away. This hotel is on the main road but about a mile out from the city. The neigbourhood is quiet. It's about 5 mins walk to the Bologna metro station which we used a lot as we walked around the city it's self.. The metro was cheap and an ideal way to travel. The area around the Bologna metro has good restraunts so we didn't have to go back into the city […] to eat at dinner time if we were tired. Ho scelto l'albergo all'ultimo momento per motivi di lavoro in zona Luiss anche grazie alle recensioni ho voluto "testarlo" ma è assolutamente da evitare: vecchio, manutenzione inesistente, infissi che non isolano nè il rumore della strada nè quelli della pioggia nonostante la camera desse sul retro dell'albergo, sporco (ho un ofrte dubbio che ci sia […] il cambio delle lenzuola tra una partenza e l'altra bbrrrr), doccia in bagno inesistente, bisogna utilizzare il soffione doccia che dal muro getta all'interno del bagno stando tra il bidet e il wc, assurod0!!!!! moquette vecchia e intrisa di macchie, arredo preso da un robivecchi di provincia. Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, man kann aber sehr gut mit dem Bus in die Stadt fahren. Dafür war das Personal sehr freundlich, die Zimmer nett und sauber.

Hotel ligt redelijk ver van centrum van Rome. Metro op 10-15 minuten loopafstand met een goedeverbinding naar het entrum. Mooie, kleine tuin rondom het hotel, waar je rustig kunt zitten in de schaduw. Ontbijt was van gemiddelde kwaliteit, voor de prijs goed te noemen. Personeel is behulpzaam. Ein sehr gutes Hotel in einer Lage, in der man sofort in der Innenstadt ist. Das Personal ist äußerst hilfsbereit und mehrsprachig und sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Buen desayuno. Personal amable. No encontramos cerca supermercados o autoservicios. Zona tranquila. A 6 cuadras del metro y 3 estaciones de Termini. El jardín es muy lindo para desayunar. Tiene aire acondicionado e hicieron la limpieza de la habitación todos los días.

Hôtel avec un accueil très agréable d'autant que nous pouvons dialoguer en français. La chambre 25 au rez-de-chaussée est bien située car ne donne pas sur la rue, elle dispose de lits jumeaux avec une excellent confort de literie. Le seul bémol peut-être un peu petite et rangement pour les vêtements insuffisant pour deux. Petit déjeuner complet, choix […] correct et personnel très sympathique. On le prend à l'extérieur en été sous les parasols au milieu de la végétation. Les arrêts de bus sont très proches pour différentes destinations, le métro un peu plus loin à 10 mn à pied. buona posizione e buon rapporto qualità prezzo; camera singola piccola e purtroppo con bagno ricavato in modo assolutamente inadeguato: per usare il lavabo è necessario tenere aperta la porta altrimenti non ci si sta ed il vano doccia è separato con una tenda decisamente poco decente. Pienet mutta siistit huoneet, vaatimaton aamupala näin skandinaaveille. Mukava palvelu respassa. Sijainti OK valtatien varrella mistä pääsi bussilla kadun toiselta puolelta nopeasti keskustan nähtävyyksiin. Tai puolen kilsan päästä pääsi metrolla. Voisimpa mennä toistekkin. Eihän siellä hotellissa olla kuin yöt kun Roomaan asti mennään.

Il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile e questo è sicuramente un punto a loro favore. Le camere sono un tantino poco funzionali, ma nel complesso accettabili. La colazione è allineata al budget speso. Dalle recensioni di chi ci ha preceduto, pensavamo che la posizione fosse il punto debole principale dell'albergo, ma c'è stato motivo di rivalutazione: […] ovvio, nessuna fermata appena fuori dall'uscita, ma con una passeggiata di 8-10 minuti si arriva alla fermata della metro "bologna" e, una volta presi i servizi metropolitani, la città intera è percorribile in un attimo. Kleines Hotel im Universitäts- und Botschaftsviertel. Eine von Grün umgebende Villa, erbaut Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts und noch immer in Familienbesitz. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber ausreichend ausgestattet und freundlich eingerichtet (antikes Möbiliar). Die Villa del Parco befindet sich versetzt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße, die Lärmbelastung ist […] entsprechend gering. Das Viertel selbst verfügt über einige Sehenswürdigkeiten (Musei die Villa Torlonia) und Parkanlagen (auch einen Hundepark). Die Verkehrsanbindungen sind sehr gut. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich die Buslinien 62,84,90D und die Straßenbahn 90. Man kommt schnell zum Hauptbahnhof (Termini), aber auch zur Piazza de Venezia. Wer ungestört und etwas abseits von Touristenströmen Rom erkunden möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Auch Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels sind gegeben. Als kleines Manko ist anzugeben, das Kaffee extra zu zahlen ist zum Frühstück, hier aber Sonderwünsche durchaus berücksichtigt werden. Alles in allem ist das Hotel seine 3 Sterne wert und auf Grund der Lage sehr zu empfehlen, besonders für diejenigen, die auf gute Verkehrsanbindungen angewiesen sind und für die große Zimmer verzichtbar sind. Weiterer Hinweis, der sehr wichtig ist: Mitte bis Ende August sind in Rom Ferien. Entsprechend sind viele Restaurants und Geschäfte vollständig geschlossen. Читати далі

Personeel van hotel was erg vriendelijk. Hotel heeft een erg mooi terras/tuin, waar je erg prettig kunt ontbijten of dineren. Maakte ons verblijf top, zeker als je even rust zoekt na een dag in het drukke stadscentrum van Rome.

Personale accogliente e disponibile ad offrire le informazioni necessarie per il soggiorno. Camere piccole ma pulite e dotate di ogni comfort. Colazione ottima e abbondante. L'hotel è vicino alla fermata dell'autobus per la stazione ed il centro e a 5 minuti dalla stazione della metropolitana.
