Best Western Empire Elysees - Париж

I was a little shocked when we first arrived at this hotel. The website said "recently renovated". However, we arrived to find the entire hotel under construction. There was a hole in the foyer ceiling with water leaking out of one of the light fixtures. A bucket remained under that leak for the duration of our 6 day stay. The carpeting in the stairwell […] looked as though it should have been replaced 20 years ago. And the room itself was incredibably small (which I somewhat expected from other reviews of hotels in Paris). All of that said, our room was fantastically quiet. There was no street noise at all which was impressive given the hotel's location. The hotel is roughly 2 blocks from the Arc de Triumph, and roughly 3-4 blocks from the Champs Elysees. It is located in a great area that is both fun and easy to explore while visiting Paris. We were able to walk from the Eiffel Tower back to our hotel room, and it only took 15 minutes at the most (that was with us stopping to look at other things). There are also many necessary amenities just outside of the hotel doors including a pharmacy, a small market, an electronics shop, a Starbucks, and many many small cafes and eateries. Читати далі

The location was good as it was close to central and there was a metro station nearby. However, when checking in, we had to wait for half hour because the staff were having a meeting. Also the wi-fi was out of order.

Very helpful staff, new bathroom room was absolutely too small for two suitcases. Lobby felt tacky free wifi in room was a great touch as was being three blocks from arc de triumph good value.

Small but comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff, very good location with easy access to RER and Metro Stations. Many good Bars and Restaurants around. Very close to few famous sites as well. Will stay here again！

plumbing does not work.....elevator one person one bag thats all fits....problem with room sorry, thats all we have, take it or leave, or shut up. at check out at last minute.clark dont know whether it is prepaid or not.it was prepaid and it was verified during check in. bad system.

This hotel is in a wonderful location. The rooms are a little small and dated but quite clean and comfortable. I have stayed here a few times and the staff is always friendly.

This hotel really is a great location! 5 min walk from the Arch de Triomphe. And if you are taking the bus from Orly the last stop is less than a 10 min walk to the hotel. We had a few glitches at the hotel: Kettle in the room didn't work but we were brought another pretty quickly, and the room could have used a bit more of a thorough clean. The hotel elevator is the smallest I have ever seen & only carries 1 person. It causes long delays to get to & from your room. Our room was also very small & uncomfortable on the 6th floor. Very very disappointing & poor value for money.

Best Western Empire Elysees was conveniently located, pleasant with friendly staff (English speaking if needed). The room was small as is common, nicely arranged though tight, clean room, good bed. The only down side was how icky the street outside was, dirty and smelly.

Great Location short distance from champs elysees as we were visiting Paris to see final stage of Tour de France. Room on the samll side but clean and comfortable which is all you really need and the price good for that location. Staff friendly and helpful and the metro and bus virtually on hand! If I was to return to Paris i would book with best western […] agin if thry were as competitive. convinent to Arc de Triomph at a good price. Room had multi day rental discount. Only problem was the shuttle that took us to the airport had a wreck and almost made us miss our flight

This hotel falls into the category of "perfectly adequate." Room was small even by European standards, but clean and efficient. Hotel is fairly well maintained. Breakfast was actually very good; diverse, fresh as good as a full service hotel. Location is a little off the beaten track -- but only a 5 min walk to the Arc de Triamph, Champs Elyse and Metro […] stop. Experienced travelers will find this comfortable, inexperienced travelers will be a little shocked at first about the style -- remember the next step up in the area is hundreds of Euros more. Nice hotel, convenient location for both the airport bus and the metro. Easy walk to Arc de Triomphe and metro stations. Lots of surrounding restaurant in neighborhood streets. Room is small but who stays in their room for a trip to Paris?

The hotel was located near the Metro which was convenient. There were decent restaurants nearby and a grocery store. The hotel itself was clean and staff was friendly and helpful but lacked any sort of charm or interest. Room was a small single and the shower was not enclosed. Good hotel if you don't plan on being there other than to sleep!

Great hotel - very clean, nice room/ room size, hotel staff was very helpful and great, very cool AC when during hot days. My room had pretty large bathroom for Paris and was quite comfortable. Short walking distance from many cafes' and restaurants, metro and arc de triumph and main drag. Very convenient location metro-wise. If you want to find a cheaper food - go to ether Latin Quarter or between Rome and Place de Clichy metro stations - there are plenty restaurants that are half in price and quite good. room was comfortable. airconditioned. Staff was very nice and helpful. Located just a short walk to the Arc, which was nice. Only problem was the shuttle they set us up with when we checked out had a wreck carrying us to the airport. This was my first stay in Paris. I traveled with my 16 year old daughter and her friend. The Hotel is in a great location close to the Arc de Triomphe and the main Metro connection at Charles de Gaulle Etoile that will get you anywhere. Getting around was easy and convenient. The English speaking staff was excellent. The location is quiet and close […] to some excellent cafe's and restaurants. Highly recommend the four cheese pizza at Banque Populaire next to Yuppies. The Hotel is also close to a ton of shopping and restaurants down Avenue des Champs Elysees. The room was large for Paris and we slept comfortably with air conditioning. There is no pool or other amenities, but we were only there for a bed and a shower. Pass on the Hotel breakfast. You can get much more at the local shops for less. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was very good. Many restaurants close by and very reasonably priced. The room we stayed in (triple) was larger than most European hotel rooms and made it more comfortable of a stay. The only complaint: the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on in my life. the hotel is not bad and located close to the Arc de Triumph... however, my friend had her money stolen from a wallet in the hotel, and the staff wasn't very helpful in trying to identify how it was stolen using their recording cameras...

Ferienfor to voksne ble helt super. Engelsktalende i resepsjonen med god service og hjelpsomme med å gjøre oppholdet så bra som mulig. Flott beliggenhet, 2 min å gå opp til Triumfbuen og metroen. Vi kjøpte 2-dagers kort til Green bus og hoppet av og på hvor vi ville. Rent og pent på rommene, lite støy, vask hver dag. L'hotel è a 15 minuti a piedi dal palazzo dei congressi dove c'è anche la stazione delle navette (treno o bus) per gli aereoporti. Il quartiere è buono. Vicino all'Hotel ci sono diversi locali sia per la colazione che per la cena. Ho avuto una camera matrimoniale uso singola, con due finestre, quindi per me abbastanza spaziosa, bagno con vasca e tv […] LCD. Personale cordiale, pulizia sufficiente.
