We were in this area for a wedding and had to extend our stay. The staff at the hotel (especially Linda) were especially kind and sweet. They were extremely helpful and informative. It's a beautiful hotel, fairly new and well appointed. We were extremely comfortable in a jr. suite. The cleaning staff were very considerate of our hours and always did […] a super job. The wait staff in the morning kept the eating area and coffee supplies well staffed and were very cheerful and accommodating. The hotel is located in a very convenient part of town, close to Walmart, gas stations, grocery, restaurants and SR 24. I had planned on using this hotel rather frequently as we have family and friends in the Monticello area. Some of the staff was wonderful, but others were very uncaring for the guests. My husband and I were having coffee at the morning breakfast and the chairs are rod iron with cushions on them. Looked comfortable enough until I sat down. The seat of […] the chairs sits down inside a base, except it wasn't inserted properly and I fell injuring my back and splashing hot coffee all over me. When I reported it to the desk clerk she didn't ask me if I was okay, apologize or anything that would have made me feel better. Be careful should you choose to stay at this hotel. Читати далі

I stayed in the hotel on a single night during the week. The city is a quiet community and the hotel is the same. I had a room right next to a mechanical room which had noises throughout the night that interrupted my sleep. I will never allow the hotel to put me near a mechanical room again. Everything about this hotel was great. The only comment that I have - which the hotel has not control over - was that male to female ratio was probably 30 to 1. I'm guessing that one would find this in any hotel in the area. I was uncomfortable, but the men acted like gentlemen.

We came to the hotel for the Purdue OSU football game. Was about 20 miles away but the hotel had one of the nicest fitness centers ever. Very large and even had a basketball court that our daughter used. The pool was also very nice. The coffee in the morning was also very good. Great place & great price. Local pizza was also good.

Couldn't find a place to stay in Lafayette due to homecoming for Purdue. Chose this hotel and glad we did. Only about 20-25 minute drive to Purdue. Would recommend this hotel highly. Very clean, friendly staff, asked for 1st floor and they were able to accomodate us. Nice breakfast area and choices.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was fine - it seemed a bit "worn" - but overall fine - comfy beds, nice pool (but a LONG walk from guest rooms).

We stayed at this hotel when we attended the Purdue/Notre Dame football game in West Lafayette. It was a great location for us because it was in the direction we wanted to go when it was time to head back to South Bend. It is located off a main drag so you get all […] of the convenience of a McDonalds, Walmart, gas stations, etc. The trip to West Lafayette was very direct and only took 30 minutes or less. The breakfast buffet, although I didn't see it directly, seemed to do the trick according to my boyfriend. Hot coffee, bagels, waffles, muffins, cereal.... the works. The room had a fridge but no microwave. It was a large room with a king bed and a pull out sofa. Didnt' detect any dirt, the carpet was vacuumed, there was no dust and it passed my bathroom check... .clean, no hair, no slime and no mold. The shower was nice and hot and there was sufficient towels. They even have little shampoo and conditioners and the bathroom has a dryer, although I didn't use it. There were vending machines for ice and soda down the hall and I noticed a laundry with a washer and dryer. I didn't see any pool but I did smell the scent of chlorine so I assume there was one but if that is important to you, you will want to check first. The bed was VERY comfortable and there were many pillows even though I travel with my own. No HD tv and the channels were very limited. The only drawback, besides the TV, was the heating and AC unit. There was no thermostat so it is either on or off, low or high, warm, hot or cold. Other than that, great place... will stay and again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Читати далі

We had to stay here because my grandmother's house had no more room and my sister is pregnant. I was extremely pleased with the hospitality and comfort! I will stay here from now on!

I've stayed at this hotel a few times in the past two years, and each time has been an excellent experience. The rooms are always clean, check-in and check-out always go smoothly, and my stays have always been very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Monticello area.

This is a nice hotel, but it is overpriced. The nightly rates are much too high.
