We had 4 people with 2 double rooms. One room is very small but the boss(I guess) promised us that he will adjust another bigger room for us because we will stay for 6 nights. Luckily we got it in the next day when we back to hotel. Everything in hotel seems not too far as we expected. Of course you can't treat it as a modern hotel but it's enough for us for what you paid in London. The location is great. It takes around 10 mins slow walk to Paddington train station/underground. Convenience is better than anything. The breakfast is also not bad but I strongly suggest don't order continental breakfast. English breakfast is good and the quantity is enough for us. Even though we asked more toast sometimes, they were willing to offer. Orchard hotel gave us 6 good sleeping nights during our stay in London. We are willing to recommend it to others if you have budget control.

Very nice hotel, convenient for eating and shopping, only 200m away from Paddington Station, I'll come to stay at this hotel again in my next trip to London.

Easy to locate. Good parking facilities. Hotel could improve with interior updating, and restaurant does provide interesting menu, and a mystery mushroom soup that looks and tastes like brockley and stilton. Overall, a reasonable haven if wandering in the Guildford area.

"good hotel in nice surroundings"
Great location, close to motorway and train station. The hotel is set in lovely grounds which when the weather is nice is very peaceful and pleasent. Good value for money for the room but didn't try the food as too expensive. Would highly recommend the pub next door which does affordable home cooked food, and has a great beer garden. Apart from that […] there's not a great deal within walking distance, a few shops though. Would stay again if in the area . Читати далі

The desk staff are always very friendly and really helpful. The rooms are exactly the right size for business travel. The food is standard fare, the catering staff are good, but the bar staff could do with a quick course in customer relations - subdued rather than surly but not what I'd expect from bar staff.

A very disappointing experience and will never stay at this hotel again. Ramada Guildford Leatherhead lost our “Executive Standard” bookings and then supplied a room which was uninhabitable. One of the worst hotel experiences, ever. August 2010
"Not impressed"
I arrived at the hotel at 11.am.I had travelled from Ireland with several family members,to attend a family wedding ,the reception of which was being held in this hotel.We needed to get ready for the wedding,but we were told that there was a charge of £10 for checking into our rooms before 2pm.We felt that this charge was unreasonable,as we were bringing […] a lot of business to the hotel.After some consideration,the manager made our rooms available without the £10 charge.The hotel itself was clean and comfortable.However ,the staff need to improve in terms of friendliness and overall hospitality.Guests should be made to feel welcome,not as in this case,like an annoyance.
