Stayed last week for just one night and was given a handicap access room. While it was very roomy I was a bit befuddled when taking a shower since it was a stand up stall and there wasn't a shelf or nook to be had anywhere to put soaps, shampoos, etc... I had to put them on the floor of the shower which I wouldn't think would be too convenient for someone […] who is handicapped. The King sized bed wasn't very comfortable; I didn't sleep very well because I kept falling into a sink hole... time for a new mattress. Hotel was clean, but second floor was noisey the air condtioning system outside rumbled and was so loud i asked to be moved to another room, still could be heard but not as loud,stayed only one night.

This was our second stay here. We had an early morning flight out of GR, and we utilized their park and ride service. The shuttles were prompt and efficient. The hotel is very well maintained, and staff is professional. Our room was very clean, and the only negatives are the pillows. Fantastic stay. Great people and I totally recomend this hotel.

Hotel was very clean, accomodating, the pool, hot tub were great and clean. Bed was very comfy........and although it was a little ways from downtown-- it worked for what we were looking for.

It's really too bad the mattresses were so awful in this hotel, because otherwise it was perfect. Super clean and well-kept, friendly staff, pool area was great, and the location was perfect for what we needed. We have to be in that area again a few more times and would LOVE to stay there each time, but those mattresses were so uncomfortable we couldn't […] sleep well at all. Just needed a room for the night. Room was adequate, I only spent enough time there to shower and sleep. The best part was the location. Would recommend to others.

I was originally scheduled to stay one night. That evening, I changed my reservation to include a second night. It was very relaxing and close to the siteson my itinerary. The staff was pleasant and helpful. If I need to stay in that area again, I would to stay at the same hotel.

This was the first hotel that requested a hold on my debit visa even though the entire stay was already paid for. They held $100. Also, the front desk staff said that they would not allow me to check without holding $100. Definately use a credit card at check in. Full Breakfast- make sure you click this button anytime you stay here. The breakfast and […] the service was awesome. Here's the catch- full breakfast means that you get a $20 meal voucher to use in the restuarant. But that's okay because you only pay $10 for the breakfast. The buffet is $10 per person and includes beverages. Also, they have a FREE kids menu. If you pre-purchase breakfast all you will have to pay is the tax and tip. For my husband and my 2 kids it was $5 out of pocket each morning for a gourmet meal. NO BUFFET ON MONDAY'S. The voucher will cover at least 2 hearty adult meals and the kids each free. This was my first stay at your hotel .... I loved the location, atmosphere and decor. The lemon, lime and cucumber was a welcoming touch and SO delicious! I felt very 'at home' in your hotel and look forward to staying again soon!!

This hotel looked brand new. Room was clean and comfortable. Although surrounded by other hotels, it was vey quiet. Used the park and shuttle to the airport option.Very good value for the price we paid.

Hotel was very nice, I rate a hotel by how well they keep their lobby, room was very comfortable and clean, had problem with tv remote, we called and they promptly got us another one, well worth the price.

While the room itself & the facilities were exceptional, the advertised free wi-fi didn't connect at all & the front desk receptionist said yes, they knew it was a problem. Don't advertise an amenity if you don't really offer it. Otherwise, if you are just looking for a clean, well maintained hotel room, this hotel will satisfy your needs.

When I checked in I got a snootey attitude from the 2nd shift front desk girl. I was placed in a room with one king bed instead of the 2 queens that I requested and it was on the first floor when I requested the third. We had to call 4 different times before someone picked up the phone so that we could get fresh towels, and once again got an attitude. […] Nice hotel but no free breakfast, a tiny pool, horrible staff, slow internet, and beds where you can feel every spring make me say go stay elsewhere. I recently stayed at this Holiday Inn for my daughter's birthday. All of the children were satisfied and so was I!

This was a short stay but the hotel was in a great location for my trip. It was clean, well kept and quiet. The bed was very comfortable as well.

The front desk staff was great. But I was never told about an extra $100 charge on my card at the time of check, this putting a hold on all my funds in my account. Stopping me from going to dinner and doing thigs that evening for my friends 30th birthday. I was then upset when I was told no manager was on duty to speak to and if he was to call a manager […] they would tell me that nothing could be done about the fee because they would look at from a number value over customer saisfaction. called ahead to let them know that I would be checking in later than usual and find out that I have a room with a KING size bed for 5 people, when my reservation said that I needed a room with 2 double beds . I was not a happy camper, and then when I was getting things situated in the room where I could fit everyone, I noticed there were ants crawling […] on the bathroom floor. Again not a happy camper. If my family and I are ever back in Grand Rapids Mi. this is definitely where we are staying! The service was top notch! The rooms, pool area was great! And for the price you can't get any better.

The hotel filled our need for a good night's rest before catching an early flight. The airport shuttle van was ready and warm for our 6 am departure. Great location for access to many restaurants. Comfortable, spacious rooms for a good value. I'll stay again.

Same as above! It was nice to have the rest/bar in hotel so we didnt have to leave, the shuttle to airport and back was prompt and friendly workers! the room was compfy and the wake up call right on time, everything went great and would stay the again!

Great room, and very comfortable king size bed. Also loved the duel use of bathroom door, and large no curtain shower stall. Breakfast room service was great in the morning. loved it will definitely be stayin there again, soon. Great extra polite desk people. everything was great, clean, new, etc. But the "continental breakfast" was not free and even if we did decide to pay for it, they offered very little choice for the price. I would eat elsewhere for the morning.

This hotel is situated in a great location. It is very close to a number of restaurants and shops. The service was great and my room as well as the entire hotel was in a very clean and organized fashion. My kids really enjoyed the pool. I would highly recommend and we will definitely stay there again next time we go to Grand Rapids.

Convenient to roads, restaurants and expressway. Very clean. People polite and friendly. Would stay there again.

Excellent stay, check in was almost too easy, Staff were very friendly. Pool was small and shallow and the workout room could be bigger with a weight machine

A very good stay! The front desk Man was right on it, doing everything correctly, as was the bar tender. The room was spotless, the price very reasonable. The only minor complaint was the rather small "squishy" pillows on the very comfortable bed. Just to restate the professionalism and performance of the staff was exemplary...The chain should hire […] the employees that work here and ust their talents as trainers...They did everything correctly. Your could hear through the walls. The people next door was noisey all night on both sides. The pool was suppose to be a no drinking area. There was five famlies checked in having a beer party with glass beer bottle in the pool. The pool was never monitored. These same people were running up and down the halls in wet swimming suits. We ended up going back to Grand Rapids after all of the hotels along Lake Michigan were full. Got to the hotel tired and hungry. The resturant was closing but they made us supper which was excellent. The staff was great and the entire place was very clean. I don't think I'll go all the way to the lake next time....I'll be staying here
