Extended Stay America Stockton - Tracy - Трэйсі

Didn't like the location or, honestly, the clientele here. Bare bones room. Didn't feel comfortable here as a single woman.

I'll start with the good: the staff was accomadating, the location was great, and they accepted pets (although a very high pet fee for how bad the hotel was). The bad: I reserved a non-smoking room. The receptionist indicated it was a non-smoking room as well. As we arrived on the third floor, all we could smell was cigarette smoke. Hoping our room […] wouldn't be affected, we went inside. It was first masked by room spray, but after 5 minutes, it was obvious it had been a smoking room; not to mention there were cigarette burns in the chair and carpet. The whole room was gross. I was tempted to go buy bedding. Since we arrived late, we sucked it up and stayed in the room. I had never changed rooms before at a hotel and felt as though it may be snobbish. I slept terribly even after opening the window for ventilation. Did I mention there were holes in the curtains? Anyway, I went ahead and requested a different room the next morning. The staff was accomadating and nice about it. We didn't really have any further issues from there since we tried to stay away from the hotel as much as possible. I guess this is expected in a place where people live? (Not the best crowd of people either). Was it naive of us to think it was mostly for people on long business trips? Anyway, we only stayed two nights, and it was VERY overpriced for what it was. We have stayed in some pretty crappy hotels/motels, but we felt the most disappointed and uncomfortable at this one. Stayed here for the weekend. It was a clean, quiet place. with kitchen,free wi-fi its was great, will book here again.

Extended Stay is in a great location of Tracy. All the best stores are located within walking distance from your room. The only problem is when you check into your room, is to ask if there are any kids in the families above you or beside you staying. Also get the management home phone number so you call when there is a late party going on in the rooms […] above or on the side. This will keep you awake all night long…….. We always enjoy staying here. I would suggest getting better pillows, they seem flat and the matress on this bed was extremeley hard. Other than that the place is great.

I stayed here once before due our christmas party, and was pleased with hotel. One year later I stayed again and was displesded with the hotel. It seems that they have let the place go down hill. Saftey was never an issue as you need your key to get in front door after 7 pm. I heard that the lower floor is under construction. Don't know myself I never […] seen it. Our stay was good for the most part. Appearance, general outdoor and lobby were very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room looked clean...but the kitchen area could of been cleaner! The coffee maker was greasy and there was stll water inside the maker. The coffee crave was unclean! The counter had crumbs. But, I will give this hotel another […] chance. The location is perfect. i have been staying at extended stay in tracy since my travel assignment began in Sept. 2011. the hotel had been a home away from home for the first few weeks. i have requested different rooms a few times because of cigarette smells and other odors and have been satisfied afterwards. unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. this last stay […] was a nightmare. i moved 3 times within my 4 day stay. 1st - rm had unbearable "kennel" smell. second - i came home from work to find a family of tapeworms on the bathroom counter and carpet. i had to move for the 3rd time. by then i was so grossed out i couldnt eat or sleep and still sweat with goosebumps talking about the creepiness of tapeworms! the staff is wonderful...housekeeping needs a lot of improvement. could also be due to the many families that now call the hotel home and have their pets roaming around, cats and all. I would recommend this hotel to others. The staff was very friendly and my stay at this hotel was a positive experience.

I stayed here one night, there was a kitchen and grocery story open all night. was able to make a late night snack. slept fine. really great price cant beat it..

Hotel is very close to shopping and several different types of restaurants. Not a big fan of Extended Stay however, forgot they do not supply shampoo/ect..only soap. did not need anything else this trip so it was fine. just stayed overnight, quiet and nice location for sure.

I get tired of eating out every meal when I stay in hotels so the facts that it had a kitchenette included in the room was great. We could eat in if we wanted to. It was very comfortable. Enjoyed staying there. Would have enjoyed it even more if it had a pool or hot tub.

Considering we had a "family emergency" in Tracy...this Hotel was great. Quiet, spacious, the staff polite,considerate, the location excellent. We would/will stay again given our circumstance.

The room was nice and clean, and had everything that I needed to stay there for a few days.

First room had a sworm of bugs flying around and smelled bad. Switched immediately to new room that had no bugs, and it was decent considering though the entire hotel should be overhauled from carpets, to sheets, to beds, to towels, and so forth.

I would definitely recommend to other people. Great location and safe neighborhood. Friendly staff as well. Only concern I had was the back door area where people take their pets smelled like urine on the inside area. But other than that, the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Had to stop on the way from Yosemite to SFO. Searched with my mobile on hotels.com and this place sounded good for a night. My check-in completed within 10 minutes, and that's a plus. I didn't expect anything fancy in Tracy as it didn't seem to be nothing more than a pitstop on the way to Bay area. Overall a cheap stay

the room was ok for the price, nice little kitchen, my only complaint was the bed was not very comfortable! I would stay at again

The hotel address was not registered in our fairly new car GPS navigation system. However, when we called the hotel, Ms Saria the receptionist was smart enough and gave us solution to locate the hotel. Close to Interstate 205 entry/exit, the room was surprisingly quiet... until we turned on the A/C, which is necessary in Tracy during the summer. One day, if they put in comfortable beds and central air conditioning, this place will be a great bargain.

Great room for the money. Location is top notch. It's rift next to about a dozen restaurants, a mall and movies. Bring your own pillow though! No complaints overall.
