Fountain Court Apartments - Grove - Едінбург

we were all very impressed by the cleanliness of our apartments . they were comfortable ,clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable place to stay while we were in Edinburgh, I would highly reccomend .

The apartment was small but adequate. The staff was very helpful. Much noise in the courtyard but eventualy adjusted to this. The washing machine was not good at drying the clothes. Kitchen adequate for preparing a meal and TV adequate.

Home from home, excellent apartments. Close to local shops and town centre.

All the comforts of home close (well, relatively close) to downtown. Very helpful staff - thanks to Keith for recommending a fine restaurant. Nice to be able to sit in a kitchenette, do laundry, etc., in the middle of a hectic tour.

Great experience from check-in to check-out. Location is perfect -waking distance to E Castle and Royal Mile and to great restaurants Loved the secure parking facility as well. Our apartment was on the ground floor so was a bit noisy late at night when people returned after a good time in Edinburgh!!!

My first impression of these apartments was very positive. The staff were very friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage in advance of checking in 6 hours later. When we did come to checking in they were swift and efficient. The only problem was that they forgot to return my photo ID after photocopying it, but phoned me later to rectify […] this. The apartment itself was lovely - clean, modern and nicely decorated. The kitchen was adequately stocked for us to cook dinner, although it would be helpful to have basic cooking ingredients like olive oil, herbs, sauces. The other problem with the kitchen was the dishwasher. The dinner plates and other items (such as pans) were too big to go in the washer. My main issue with the accommodation was noise. We were on the ground floor next to the front door. It had an automatic closer which made it very noisy. And people were coming and going throughout the night. On top of this there were a number of stag/hen parties staying in other apartments and they were very noisy. When I made a point of mentioning this to the reception staff on check-out, she said it was better not to stay at week-ends. Sound advice HOWEVER, most people take week-end breaks at the week-end!!! I certainly wouldn't recommend the room we stayed in for light sleepers or families. I would stay in the apartments again because they were centrally located, and great for both the Castle and the modern art galleries on the edge of town. I would be wary about the location of our flat though. Perhaps request to be away from large groups and noisy doors! Читати далі

Ten minutes walk from the western end of Princes Street, these modern, well-appointed apartments are ideal for a touring base, visits to the University, and for shopping expeditions. Dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge, safe, wide-screen TV and much more in well-kept, quiet blocks of three storeys (we were on ground floor). Plenty of secure car parking […] for a few £ per day. The value for a group or family is outstanding. We were two couples with a two room apartment. It was modern and clean and even had an iPod docking station, coffee/sugar and soap for the dish/clothes washers. The location was solid at a 15 minute walk to the base of the castle. This was a great little find - attractive appartment, well appointed and comfortable. With secure parking (at small extra charge), and easy walking access to lots of cafes etc, the slightly unexciting immediate surroundings were of no importance. Great value, and I'll recommend it to friends.

When you step into your room atFountain Court Apartments - Grove (123 Grove Street), you will instantly feel yourself in your home; you might even put it ahead of your home! Its serenly placid location, its amazingly comforting and clean rooms, and its courteously welcoming receptionists will make of your stay an unforgettable experience.

-excellent location -good breakfast in cafe next door where you get 10% discount....they even ask you if you are staying next door...food was so good I just added discount to tip -parking worth the small charge -wireless worked very well and fast -the place to stay _close enough to the action... but far enough away so there is very little noise at  […] night Читати далі

We have stayed at the apartments a few years ago before they were completed. The new office is wonderful and the staff very helpful. The apartments are well equipped with kitchen appliances, pots, pans etc. There was nothing that we needed and didn't have. There is a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer which was very handy. You do need to provide your […] own washing machine tablets. The apartment itself was not huge in size but big enough for my husband our son and myself. Good t.v. package which is important when you have a young son that goes to bed early. The apartment is close to all amenities in the area including a tesco express and sainsbury's. Nice room. I give the Bed a 3 out of 10. So if you need a comfy bed pass. No AC. You get a washer and dryer to clean your clothes... but it takes a long time and your clothes come out a bit wrinkly...but this could of been me using it improperly.

conveniently located near the city center, foutain court has everything you look for to fufill your needs either you travel for business or pleasure. Main city's attractions are just a stone throw away on foot and so it goes for shops and pubs. The airport shuttle drops you a few yards away from your appartment and the journey takes just 20 minutes […] for as little as £6 for an open return ticket. Читати далі

It was a clean, comfortable and lovely experience. My family loved staying in Fountain Grove and will always go back when we are in Edinburgh.

Not as clean or as much room as the Fountain Court Grove Executive, but still a good deal for 4 adults and a couple of kids. Having all the accouterments on the road if wonderful.

Aparthotel con buena situación. Aceptable relación calidad-precio. Buen servicio.

Lägenhetshotell som var helt OK. Bra läge med gångavstånd till centrum, både shopping och slottet. Vi var där när det var premiär på Edinburg Tattoo och hela staden kryllade av folk. Härlig vistelse och boendet var mkt prisvärt-

Kjempefornøyd med alt,det tok ca, et kvarter å gå til slottet. Det ligger en Tesco 2minutter fra hotellet med lange åpningstider.... veldig bra....

Excellent choice for a couple staying more than a few days in Edinburgh and preferring the homeliness of an apartment.

Dejlig lejlighed med masser at atmosfære. Den ligger tæt på restauranters og i gå afstand til centrum. Det er muligt at den offentlige trafik fungere, men vi gik de 10-15 minutter det tog for at nå centrum.

Fountain Court Apartments - Grove er trivelige leiligheter med eget kjøkken, stue, soverom og bad. Veldig praktisk for en liten familie. Gode muligheter for å lage mat selv, samt vaske klær etc. Relativt kort vei å gå til sentrum (ca 15 min trasking). Nær beliggenhet til matbutikk som er åpent store deler av døgnet (TESCO).

The Service at Fountain Court Apartments is not good at all. All of the receptionist said different things, and could not agree.

Hotellet er ett leilighetshotell, med kjøkken, bad og stue i hver leilighet. Det var rent og pent, og servicen var veldig bra. Det er noen gamle bygg, så det knirka litt i noen dører etc, men overlever det. Ligger knappe 15 minutter fra Royal Mile og 10 minutter unna Princes street. Sijainti on hyvä ja huoneisto oli todella laadukas paikallisen mittapuun mukaan. Naapurustossa on muutama todella hyvä aamiaspaikka joten sitäkään ei tarvitse kaukaa hakea.

Nice apartment, everything worked as it should. The hotel is close to public transport, and a walking distance from Edinburg city center. The only thing that I can complain about was the wery squeeky doors on the bedrooms and the bathroom.

Calme, très proche du centre-ville, service impeccable. Quelques problèmes avec la Wi-fi.

Situé dans un quartier calme, proche du centre historique (-10 minutes à pied), très proche d'une des grandes stations de bus (-5 minutes à pied). Aspect général agréable, accès sécurisé aux appartements, parking privé sécurisé. Appartement très propre, calme, bon service.

We hadden een appartement met één slaapkamer. Meestal zijn de foto's op sites opgeleukt, maar dit was het eerste hotel waar het precies zo was als beschreven. Prima uitgerust keukentje, klein woonkamertje, badkamertje en slaapkamer. Het hele appartement is zo'n 40m2. Een beetje smalle, kleine douchecabine, maar dat was geen probleem. Het was schoon, […] netjes en rustig en toch op loopafstand van Princess Street en Old Town. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Alleen de beloofde wifi was niet wat het moest zijn, dus ik ben nu een cold-turkey afgekickte internetjunkie, maar goed. Ik zou het hotel zeker aanraden! Читати далі

Rent och snyggt, bekvämt centralt läge. sköna sängar. Trevlig personal. Enda minus var att vi inte fick till vattnet i duschen som var väldigt varmt.
