Silver King Hotel - Парк-Сіті

The Silver King is a great place to stay in Park City. The hotel is right next to the Park City Mountain Resort and a nice mile walk to downtown Salt Lake City. The hotel is super clean with an awesome indoor/outdoor pool. Then rooms are more like condos and not like hotel rooms at all. we stayed in the one bedroom, 2 bath suite and everything was great. Large condo style room with a separate bedroom, fireplace, plenty of windows facing the ski lifts of Park City resort. Small but acceptable. No wood for fire, Dishwasher didn't work. Decor wasn't great, some of the other units looked nicer than ours (#316). Location was great. From the hotel, all we had to do was walk across the Park City parking lot to get to the lifts (First Time and Eagle)

The Silver King Lodge couldn't have been in a better location for access to Park City skiiing. It's literally adjacent to the moutain resort's parking lot. We had a great experience in a studio condo, which allowed us the comforts of home - to cook our own breakfast/lunch, have a sitting area, kitchen and dining area. There was also a free shuttle service (in addition to the free Park City bus) available to guests, with a friendly driver who brought us into town and the grocery store. Very well located hotel, the Park City Mountain Resort is litterally just across the parking ! Can be considered as a ski-in ski-out hotel! Also many ski rentals/bus are near the hotel. The jacuzzi is well appreciated after a ski day. THe rooms are nice, our room had a nice chimney and a nice view on the lifts. Cosy decoration, the whole hotel is […] a bit old but it has a lot of charm. There's a bus stop just in front of the hotel to get to Main Street / Deer Valley, and other places. My Girl Scouts and I had a great time. The room was beautiful, and very well kept. It was great!!!!!!! I would love to come back with my husband.

Loved the decoration of the room. Full kitchen and washing and dryer machine.. wow.. that was awesome. Perfect location, just walk 5 minutes and you are there in the lift.

its not your super luxe hotel ( and does not come with that price tag either,)but you won't find better service! Liked the solve-your problems attitude of the front desk and other staff. Anne at front desk was able to clear up an issue for us right away. The van to town was very reliable and the driver even willing to pick up extra supplies for us […] not available in the hotel's kiosk. Found this ideal as a location and the ammentities , suite layout, etc were very good. We had a suite with a separate master + jaccuzzi bath as well as a large living room with fold out couch and alcove with two bunks and other bath. We appreciated the extra room the dining area provided and the well outfitted kitchen to prepare meals when we decided not to go out. Family members enjoyed the sauna, pool and the arcade room. Walk- out access to slopes ideal. Quite rooms. Key differentiator: all staff, front desk as well as van driver, housekeeper etc. all have the right " can I help" attitude and seem empowered to be able to do so- rare in this world of bureaucracy! Great location, right across the parking lot from the "First Time" run, and a half mile from downtown shopping. The facility is a little bit dated, but overall a great place for the family to stay for a winter vacation. Warm, clean, comfortable, kitchen, amenities, flat screen TV's and wireless Internet.

We found this lodge through Hotels.com and were more than satisfied. The rate was excellent - we were there the week before the season opened. It is close to bus lines so easily accessible to the town. The room was exquisite with a great view of the mountains and was especially pleasing as it snowed the entire time we were there. The parking garage […] is small but we found space in it for most of the time we were there, and when it was full there is a large lot next door. The room has a fireplace and the lodge supplies 1 log per night and it will burn for 4+ hours - extras do cost additional but we didn't need any extra. The room was large and an excellent value for the money! However, be prepared for town as it is expensive. There is a grocery store within a half mile so you can save by eating in as the room had a full kitchen. Hosekeeping was excellent and even loaded and ran the dishwasher. Our room also has 2 bathrooms; one with a large walkin shower and the other with a jetted tub. The front desk is manned until around 11:00 pm but there appeared to be a safe in the lobby where they place materials for late check-in. There is an exercise room and pools although we didn't use either. Overall, this is a great place to stay and was an excellent value when we were there. Читати далі

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very nicely furnished. The only issue was parking. The lot and garage were full, and the overflow parking was not close.

Pool hours are not enforced. If you stay in the vicinity of the pool, be prepared to stay up all night. There is not anyone to answer the front desk in the evenings, the telephones in the rooms do not work, and the numbers that you can for service are bogus. Otherwise...it was great!

I read some mixed reviews about this hotel so I was somewhat nervous. I was pleasantly surprised to find clean, up-to-date rooms with some of the most comfortable beds ever. We booked 2 2-bedroom rooms to accommodate the 16 people I had invited for my boyfriend's bday. The staff was courteous and attentive. They were able to get the rooms relatively […] close to one another and informed us of shuttle times (although main street is less than a mile away so we just walked back and forth). Because the hotel somewhat wraps around the pool, I could see how noise from late night parties could be an issue, However, the staff did close the pool down at 10pm and sent people back to their rooms. We loved everything about our stay at the Silver King. The room was great & Anne, the Guest Care Manager, was extremely helpful & friendly. Can't wait to stay again.

The rooms were nice and spacious. No one in attendance at night. Parking garage too small to house all vehicles and have to use another one that belongs to another building with no direct access to hotel.

Super nice staff employee! Awesome studio room! Only downfall is the tv is positioned in a awkward spot if you want to watch from the bed. Quiet, relaxing & close to Baja Cantina, one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! My only advice...don't forget the garage code in your room...otherwise you're stuck parking outside! The review said it was 1800 square feet and it wasn't, it was more like 1200 square feet. One of the burners didn't work on the stove. We had problems with the windows and the air conditioning did not work well. The hot tub is set at 104 F. and you can not change it so it is bad for kids. The fireplace is a wood burning fireplace and you had to provide […] your own wood. A towel rack fell down but you could put it back together. When you ran the jets in the jacuzzi tub a yellowish/brown stuff would built up and leave a ring on the tub. But the beds were clean, most of the furnishings nice. We enjoyed the pool. VERY QUIET. COMFORTABLE. NO NIGHT STAFF FOR WAKE UP CALL. HEATER A/C WOULD NOT SHUT OFF BY ITSELF, NO MATTER WHAT TEMP. SETTING. OTHER THAN THAT WE WOULD DEFENITELY RECOMMEND IT TO FRIENDS.

We enjoyed our stay in Park City, and for the special off season price, the Silver King Hotel was a good choice for us, and I would recommend it - though with some reservations. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was attractively decorated, comfortable and very spacious, no complaints there. There were, however, a couple of issues that kept this from […] being the perfect weekend experience we were expecting. As soon as we had checked in, we were informed that the indoor/outdoor pool area and hot tubs were closed for renovations. This was a major disappointment as the attractive pool area photos shown on line were a major factor in our choosing this hotel, and we were looking forward to relaxing there after a long, five hour drive. We should have been informed of this prior to booking, as we likely would have gone elsewhere. As compensation, the manager offered to relocate us to one of their other resorts (much older, with a postage stamp outside pool only), which we declined, or daily passes to a pool/spa located several miles away, which we took, but never used due to the major inconvenience. We were told there would be limited housecleaning service daily (replace towels, empty trash, etc.), but they never came, even though we were away from the room from 11 AM till 4:30 PM, and had the "service please" tag on the door. A gentleman from the front desk apologized, and was kind enough to bring fresh towels when we called about it. Also, garage parking was very limited, and not reserved for those staying there. One of the nights every available space, inside and out, was taken up by outside guests attending a private party in one of the rooms. Both nights of our stay we were kept awake till the wee hours of the morning by loud talking and partying coming from other rooms. Bottom line though, we loved Park City, and as we were only there for 2 nights, the Silver King worked out ok. This was a wonderful hotel - close to Alpine Slide, coaster, and zip line. We had lots of room for the 7 of us. Also, a great pool. We would stay here again.

We had a great room I would highly recommend this property. The room was large, 1 BR and kitchen.. Everything was great.

While the Silver King is not the prettiest place on the outside (it pales in beauty compared to the nearby resorts), the room was a very pleasant surprise--spacious, comfortable and clean. For an overnighter with the family it was a great deal: downtown Park City at a very reasonable price. We have stayed many years at this hotel. Usually or stays are great. However, this past visit was a joke.! The air in our room was out of order due to lack of upkeep and cleaning. We were forced to change rooms if we wanted a cooler room. We received no apology nor any kind of consideration for our trouble. For the price we paid for a night we would […] have expected something for the huge inconvenience. No assistance was offered for moving. A good choice for Park City Utah. Nice pool, decent hot tub. Not luxurious but comfortable and it rained one day so we just hung out and it was quite comfortable..

This hotel met our need based on the last minute decision to head to Park City. I wasn't over impressed nor did I feel that there was anything lacking. Everything was fine and our needs were met.

My wife and I stayed here for two days to celebrate our anniversary. Having never been to Park City before we didn't know where to stay, and it seemed that all the hotels in our price range had both a bunch of 5-star reviews as well as a bunch of 1-star reviews, so it was hard to decide. Overall we had a good experience with the Silver King hotel. […] Our room was nicely furnished, but from what I understand each room is owned and decorated by different people, so you may not be so lucky. No king beds, only queen, two HDTV's, one in the living room and a smaller one in the bedroom were nice. Our room had two bathrooms, one with a jetted tub and one with a shower. It also had a full kitchen with appliances. The windows did not open and there was no balcony. The swimming pool and hot tub were nice, and we enjoyed being right next door to the Park City Mountain Resort. We stayed here in July so there were plenty of other fun things to do on the mountain. Customer service was okay, the building is older looking, and not too fancy, but we did have underground parking and the room didn't smell like smoke, so we were pretty pleased with it. My only big complaint is the price. I think it should've cost half of what it did, but that's just my opinion. Читати далі

we have been coming to this hotel over the past 20 years and it's been a wonderful visit, but not this time. the air conditioning didn't work, the TV didn't work, the repair man came twice and finally got the TV to work somewhat but never as it should. The air conditioner wasn't working well, we told the front desk that we would be gone for a while […] could they please look at it...well they may have looked at it but didn't fix it. stayed at this hotel 20 years ago and it was friendlier then. This time around, we had to ask for towels and toiletries, bed was not very comfortable and creaked anytime you moved..When using the tub, turned on the jets and the water turned brown! Not very romantic! Not overly impressed.

I was surprised that our room was actually nicer in person than in the pictures. Great space, full kitchen, everything was clean and seemed new. If I make it back to Park City I will definitely stay here.

Honestly the appliances were very outdated, the curtains looked like those out of the Sound of Music, all the decorations were from the 80's, but it was overall very clean.
