The transportation to this motel is very convenient by just using the courtesy phone in the LAX airport when we arrived. The motel itself is nice and decent and worth its price. I was afraid that the noise of airplanes would be disturbing. Happily it was not. The continental breakfast and the restaurant are not bad either.

Visited Shelter in May 2010, the rooms are big and clean, in a reasonable price. The room is simple in a stylish way, quite comfortable. King size bed is good, you can get a good sleep there. It is in the Korean Town, located in the city. Location is quite convenient. Hotel provides free parking space at ground floor. The staff is friendly. It's a good place to stay in LA.

Located in high class beautiful Beverly Hill area. Walking distance to Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hill residential area. Very convenient and quiet. A small hotel with no lift or elevator to go upstairs, so have to carry luggage to the second floor. The staff are very helpful and nice. Facilities are basic but neat. Breakfast is basic. A little bit expensive but the location worths it. It is quite good as a last stop to relax and walk around, or to drive to anywhere. Bus stops are available outside the hotel going to Santa Monica or Hollywood area too.

Don't be fooled by the brand "Sheraton"--it's not. But if you can somehow sign up on the Internet to get a deal 60% of the real Sheraton, I wouldn't complain. it's close to the airport, with a nice shuttle service to LAX, but you have to be content with the Burger King nearby, because that is not only eating place within walking distance. I had dinner, and breakfast, and mostly the time i had the place to myself. Otherwise you need to shell pout 16 bucks for breakfast.

Overall condition of hotel was run down. Needs some daily mainentance. This hotel is ok for a inexpensive sleepover. Would not want to spend any time in the room other than to sleep and then get on the road.
"Worst Hotel in Los Angeles"
I walked into the room to discover a half drunk bottle of water left there on the floor from the previous guest. A few minutes later I discovered a used q-tip on the floor. I asked for an exra blanket, they had none. I asked for an extra pillow, they had none. My non smoking room smelled like people smoke in there regularly. "Dont do it"
When we checked it the guy behind the bullet proof glass looked us up and down like we stole something. There was no hi, hello, or even how you down just give me your credit card. The place was really rough. Dont do it
"Cheap hotel"
The service was excellent; they let me check in early and they responded quickly when my internet wasn't working. A simple paint job would go a long way toward sprucing the place up, as would a thorough cleaning...there were mystery spots on the back of my bathroom door, for example. Although the carpet was vacuumed and the sheets were very white and […] clean, the walls were dirty. Old is one thing, but basic scrubbing would help considerably. The furniture was torn and overall very worn. There's a Comfort Inn not too far away (Bell Gardens) that is well-maintained and usually costs just a bit more than I paid to stay here. I'd highly recommend that instead if you're looking to save money (I've stayed there several times before and decided to check this place out). Читати далі
