A very quant boutique hotel, based in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there and would definately stay there again should I return to Paris.

WE STAYED TWO NIGHTS AT DURET.GREAT HOTEL EVER !! SPECIALLY FOR HONEYMOON. EVERY HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY KIND AND NOTICED ANY SMALL NEEDS OF US.THEY HELPED AND ADVISED OUR SIGHTSEEING PLAN AND IT WAS VERY HELPFUL. ONE MORE GRAT THING IS THAT THE METRO STATION ''ARGENTINE'' WAS TWO MINUTE WALK FROM HOTEL,WHICH WAS A QUITE CONVENIENT LINE TO ACCESS EVERYWHERE […] IN PARIS. OUR ROOM WAS SURPERIOR ROOM WHICH YOU CAN SEE PURPLE STRIPED THEMED ROOM. THAT ROOM WAS GORGOUS!! LARGE !! SPECIALLY THE BATHROOM WAS LARGE AND CLEAN. YOU WILL LOVE IT FOR SURE. WE HAD 4 SUITCASES THOUGH THE ROOM WAS LARGE ENOUGH TO RANGE ALL OF THEM ON THE FLOOR. NEIHBOURS WERE ALSO FUN! SMALL SUPERMARKET WAS JUST BESIDE THE HOTEL WHICH YOU CAN GET DRINKS AND FOOD SO EASILY. THE BREAD SHOP AT THE CORNER WAS AWSOME!! ONLY ONE THING I WOULD RECOMMEND TO THIS HOTEL IS TO HAVE A WEIGHT TO MEASURE THE WEIGHT OF SUITCASES. NOW MANY AIRLINE COMPANIES LIMIT UNDER 23 KGS FOR EACH SUITCASE SO BETTER TO CHECK BEFORE YOU GO TO THE AIRPORT.AT CDG, THERE WAS A WEIGHT...BUT WE HAD TO OPEN EVERY SINGLE SUITCASE THERE AND SWITCH GOODS ONE TO ANOTHER TO ADJUST 23KGS...THAT WAS HARD.... ANYWAY,JUST STAY THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANNA ENJYOY YOUR STAY AT PARIS. BUY A ''MUSEUM PASS'' AND ''MOBILIS''.THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. YOU MUST HAVE THEM!! AND GO SEE ''LIDO''. I can't say enough about this hotel, the people who work at Duret or the fabulous location. My 8-year-old son and I extended our stay and spent 5 nights here and just loved it our "Superior Queen" room. It was affordable, clean and comfortable (although smallish, but it's Paris so I'll take it). Location is amazing - we were on Line 1 right by the […] Arc de Triumph, steps from Champs d'Elysee, close to connections to anywhere. Tips: Grab a carnet of 10 tickets on the metro for easy access to everything. Skip breakfast and go to the bakery around the corner for fresh goods, yum. If you have a child with you don't miss the Musée des arts et métiers and the sewer tours! We had a terrific time in Paris and Duret was part of that. Читати далі

the bed in our room was very small and really uncomfortable, skirting boards thick with dust. walls could do with some paint.

Hotel Duret is clean and modern. I recommend this hotel for business travellers, especially those who need to stay near the Palais de Congress. The only issue I have is that it is located on a street with fruiterers, meat sellers, bakery etc, so neighbourhood is not classy.

Nice comfortable and clean hotel. Staff were very helpful. The room was clean and well decorated. The obly negative point for me was the very small bath, although this is fairly typical of european countries I suppose. Recommended

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rooms are a bit small for US standards, but similar in size to almost any other Euro hotel. It's located very close to the Argentine metro stop, and it's just a couple blocks away from the Arc de Triomphe. One great thing about this hotel is that it's within walking distance of the Charles E'Toile Air […] France bus stop. This means that no matter what airline you take, you can get to this hotel from the airport very affordably. The close metro stop also allows for easy transport anywhere in Paris. Читати далі

Only caveat I would add is that it is located outside, but close to, the main tourist areas. Only affects you if you plan on walking. The metro(subway) line that gets you to all the places a tourist needs is 2 min away. Other than that, extremely helpful English-speaking staff, and clean, comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

I have no problem to recommend this hotel: the location is great in a very quiet place 10 mn walk from l'Etoile, the hotel is confortable, very clean, well decorated, with a special mention to the bathroom and the staff is very very friendly and caring. My wife and I chose this hotel for our week long trip to Paris in Spring '09. Pros: - Close to a train station - Close to Champs Elysees - Good neighborhood, lots of street side cafes and neat little shops in the vicinity - A very very good Patisserie at the corner. - Clean and comfortable rooms - Polite, helpful and most importantly, English speaking […] front desk staff - Free internet (no Wifi though) - Well decorated and trendy Cons: - Not cheap - Small Rooms (but thats France for you) Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Here is some advice on how to get to the hotel from the station as it took us some time to find it. The closest station to the hotel is Argentine. Once you get out of the station, get to the side of the street with the BMW dealership (ie, if you have are facing away from Champs Elysees, get to the left side of the street). Keep walking (i.e. going away from Champs Elysees) and you will come across an intersection to your left that splits into 3 small street. Rue Duret (where this hotel is at) is the middle street. Great location - 2 blocks if that from Argentine stop, down the street from Arc de Triumphe, great corner cafes/restaurants, a few streets over from Champs-Elysees‎, very clean nicely decorated hotel, staff very friendly and know multiple languages

Du faux 4 étoiles ... travaux à faire dans l'hotel, dommage.

Flott hotell, trivelig betjening og god service. Nært Champs Elysse. Anbefales :-)

Min kæreste og jeg har været på en 5-dages tur til Paris, hvor vi efter en svær beslutning valgte at benytte Hotel Duret - Hvilket skulle vise sig, at være et rigtig godt valg. Vi valgte at bo på et alm. standard værelse, og det var meget pænt og rent. Angående servicen syntes vi at den var i top. De var meget søde i receptionen og forstod alt engelsk. […] Vi fik endda lov til at først at tjekke ud fra værelset kl. 12 om formiddagen, hvor der ellers normalt er udtjekning kl. 10. Hotellets beliggenhed er helt suveræn, det ligger en lille gåtur fra Champs Élysées, og der ligger blandt andet grønthandler, supermarked og en lækker sushirestaurant ikke mere end 20 meter fra hotellet. På det nærmeste hjørne ligger en rigtig rigtig lækker bager, som også laver nogle fantastiske sandwich (blandt andet gode at have med på diverse udflugter). Hver morgen, når vi forlod værelset og kom tilbage senere på dagen var der lagt nyt sengetøj på og nyvaskede håndklæder var klar til brug. Et minus på badeværelset var, at badekarret ikke kunne rumme to personer. Det var meget lille, men kan man undvære dette, bliver man ikke andet end positivt overrasket. Vi benyttede ikke morgenmad på hotellet, men valgte i stedet at købe hos bageren på hjørnet. Det er en rigtig god måde at spare lidt penge på, hvis man vil det :-). Vi vil helt klart anbefale hotellet til alle der rejser til Paris. VI kan i hvert fald ikke vente med at komme tilbage!!! :-) Читати далі
