"Great value for Park City area"
We have stayed at the Sundial Lodge two years in a row because we like the convenience of being able to walk out of our room and walk to the lifts. You can get to the other resorts by using the free bus system but we had the bellman call a taxi to take us to Deer Valley. "Misleading pictures"
We actually did not end up staying here because we were very disappointed with the room when we arrived. It did not appear to be updated even though the website stated it was updated. The room was small, carpet was stained, and bedding was shabby. The pictures on line did not accurately reflect the actualy quality of the room, which was much lower than […] what we expected. "Our Stay at the Sundial Lodge"
When we booked the resort we thought we were getting a great price on a new, luxury studio with a "mountain" view. On the contrary, the room was run down and "beat" as my boyfriend put it. We were so excited to get a "mountian" view but it turns out the our view was blocked by a great big buiilding which not only blocked the view of the mountain it […] also blocked the sun light from coming in the room. Lighting was dim and everything else just was worn down and old. The kitchen was great and having a washer/dryer and fireplace were nice. Hallways smelled a bit of sewage and you had to leave the resort to get a drink or a meal. "Great location if you ski at the Canyons"
We have been skiing Park City since the early 80's and have stayed just about everywhere. This time we decided to stay at the Sundial Lodge since we were planning on only skiing the Canyons. Our room was not ready when we arrived but they showed us where we could change into our ski clothes so we could take advantage of turning in our airline boarding […] pass for a free lift ticket on day of arrival. The room was on the 5th floor, comfortable with a king size bed and couch. The TV was small with somewhat poor reception as they were having difficulty with their cable service. The tub was a jetted tub. The best part of this place is you can simply put on your ski clothes and boots and walk about 50 yards to the gondola. There are only a few places to eat nearby but there is a free shuttle that takes guests into Park City every hour. Out of all the properties in the Canyons, this one and the Grand Summit are the closest to the main lifts. We would definitely stay here again, particularly for the price we paid for the room. "The Sundial at The Canyons"
This hotel was awesome. We were ski in, ski out and it was so reasonably priced. We have never stayed on the snow as we could never afford it but thanks to the Sundial we finally did. The room was beautiful and had a real log cabin feel about it. One of the best features was an air purifier steamer thing, so your skin doesn't dry out with the hot air […] con and fireplace. makes a huge difference. "Sundial - Cute, Reasonable Comfy Snow Trip Spot"
1st time to Park City, I was looking for a home base to cook meals, relax, and work in the mornings and nights between daytime trips to the Cottonwood Canyons for skiing and snowboarding. "Was that a jack hammer below our room???"
The first three days were fine. The fourth day of our stay it was like they forgot we were still in the room and they went into full blown construction mode. The room was literaly shaking. The noise was like a jack hammer. The smell was of fresh paint. We called the front desk and asked what was going on. They sent someone up to tell us that the noise […] should stop soon. It was just the hotels construction workers doing work in the room below. Drilling into the foundation. Ummm are you kidding me????!! Could the hotel not wait until we left the next day???? How inconsiderate. It was so loud we had to leave the room. Make sure there is absolutely NO construction going on during your stay. "Friendly staff, comfortable room"
I stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was a great experience. Check in was fast and easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the jetted tub was a nice perk. I'd definitely stay here again.

"Perfect Summer Retreat"
Many travel to Park City in the winter to enjoy the best snow on earth but few people are aware of the pristine beauty of the Rocky Mountains in the summer time. We loved our stay at the Sundial. The weather was perfect the resort was perfect. Friendly staff. A wonderful hassle-free weekend.
