Timberholm Inn - Стоуї

A nice relaxing stay. More homely than a lot of the other surrounding accomodations. The bedrooms are very small so you wouldn't want to be in there other than to sleep! Nice lounge, decking and other areas to sit if you are happy to mingle with other guests. Fabulous breakfast to set you up for the day.

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights. The area was very quiet and relaxing and close to the stores and restaurants of Stowe. The Inn keepers were friendly and very knowledgeable of the area and other cities in Vermont. Their recommendations were worth taking. The rooms were a bit tight but very comfortable and you get that "at home feeling". The […] beds were so comfortable you wanted to melt in the sheets. The Inn features a beautiful back deck with a mountain with bird feeders that are frequently visited by Blue Jays and Humming Birds. There is a nice living room with plenty of sitting and books to read and a tv room downstairs. Breakfast was the best out of any B&B!! Hands down! For the price and for what the Timberholm has to offer, you can't go wrong. I highly recommend eating at Piecasso in town!!!! Читати далі

The owners are the best part of this quaint b&b in Stowe. They are very knowledgeable and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was also amazing. We recently stayed at the Timberholm while we were visiting Stowe to go skiing. Our experience was amazing. Tom, the host, is very nice and helpful, not to mention a fantastic cook. The breakfasts were homemade, fresh-baked, three-course meals you couldn't find in any restaurant. He also had fresh baked cookies for apres-ski every day. The 'grand room' […] (common area) consisted of the dining tables, couches chairs, plenty of reading material, games, a telescope, a beautiful panoramic view into the surrounding woods, and a giant wood-burning fireplace. There is also a tv/games room and a very relaxing outdoor hot tub. Our room was small but very homey. The bed was comfortable and the decor classic. The fact that our stay was off-season in a town driven by tourism, made no difference. The owners of Timberholm go to great lengths to give you much more than a sleeping room. Highly recommended if you are looking for peaceful setting, and more charm than the Hilton hussle.

This B&B with its friendly host and wonderful breakfast is very dated: The rooms are miniscule, with insuffiecient room to place and open more than one very modest suitcase. The bathroom is so small and poorly laid out that a "normal"-size person can hardly stand in front of the sink.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Timberholm. Be warned, Tom's breakfasts are scrumptious, irresistible and may cause weight gain. We chose the cheapest room, which was small, but workable. If you can, spring for a larger room. Smaller room or not the common amenities are beautiful, comfortable and homey. We had a lovely time there and met so many nice people, they too were staying there at the same time. Thomas & Suan, the inn keepers were very nice people. The place was perfect. I enjoyed sitting on the decking talking to other guest whilst overlooking the mountain view.

We were going to a wedding in Stowe and decided to try a bed and breakfast. The innkeepers, Tom and Susan, were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed a peaceful cup of coffee every morning on the spacious back deck before indulging in one of theTimberholm's fabulous breakfasts. Many of the guests were repeat visitors to the Timberholm. Our rustic room was very clean, cozy and beautifully furnished with quilts and the softest sheets, blankets and pillows in the world. It was pouring rain that weekend, but my boyfriend and I had to get out of Boston and get some fresh country air, so we packed our bags and hit the road. The Timberhorn was the second place we stayed that weekend, and it was by far the superior stay. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner with smiles, a tour of the B&B, hot tea/hot chocolate […] and freshly made peanut butter brownies. We felt very at home in our room. It felt nothing like one of those mass-produced by-the-numbers type hotel rooms and everything like staying in someone's really nice guest room. The room was wood paneled and had a very Vermont/outdoors themed decor, which was awesome. The furniture was all real quality, and the bed was super comfortable. I loved the bathroom where there were lots of hooks to hang our stuff, a 'real' bathtub (not plasticy like at a comfort Inn) and a soap dispenser shaped like a bear. We did not linger in our room, however. For the first hour we sipped tea and watched the hummingbirds congregate at the two feeders on the porch by the great room. Although it was stormy, the view of the mountain with the clouds rolling over it was still spectacular. I look forward to coming back and enjoying the view on an actually sunny day. After our tea, we tried out the hot tub which was clean and bubbly. The next morning we were treated to the most amazing breakfast served by the owner. Fruit salad! Freshly baked muffins hot from the oven! Buttermilk Blueberry Pancakes! Maple Flavored Local Sausage! Delish! We were very impressed with our stay, and it made the weekend special and fun. The Timberhorn is not enormous, and that adds to the family feel of it. I am certainly going to return here, and perhaps some day I'll plan our family reunion/group vacation at this location. The hosts Thom and Susan make this B&B to what it is! Very friendly and helpful service. Great breakfast whith a great view over the mountain site and the spectacle of all kinds of birds on the feeders (even some humming birds). Nice conversations with other guests at the giant breakfast table. It felt more like staying at a friends place then in a […] hotel. The only downsides are the very small rooms (had to change to a bigger room to be able to open suitcases in the room) and the bit worn-out look of the place. The hot-tub was out of order.
