The Hotel is great. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

We had a great time except for the rain. Manager was a great person and very helpful since we had to find a place to get a motorcycle tire. Very good place to stay and we will again!

Overall - it was an OK place. It was clean but the beds were a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast bar was sorry. No coffee at 9:00 and it didn't appear that any more was on the way.

It is obvious that conveniences are more important than guests. Dust bunnies are ruling the roost.

Overall the stay was fine. Our room had a strong offensive odor maybe a cover up deodorizer?....but overall it was fine.

Traveling through it was good, except there were little dogs above me that ran around in circles all night on a wood floor and barked a lot. Did not like that at all.

Happy to have had the microwave & fridge, and even tho we asked for a nonsmoking room, it still smelled of old cigarettes mixed with an overabundance of PineSol. Overbearing. The sliding door balcony was a nice touch, but the screen door was broken. Door frames and switchplates were filthy.

We rented two rooms for the week as my dad had passed away and we were there to take care of the funeral,etc. The staff was very nice and the room was great. Ken the owners son went above and beyond for us, just a super great guy! So next time we are in town we will stay there! Being a local to this area it's probably the eat hotel within 30 miles. Built within the past few years its still doing very well condition wise. Service was good, room was nice; great view. Worth the amount of money we paid. Only down side is the breakfast wasn't that good.

If you are a lite sleeper avoid this hotel in the winter. They have some popping pipes and the walls are thin. The price is right though.

The better side of what you would expect. A little bummed out that I had to pay $8 to upgrade to a non-smoking room. (Shouldn't the premium work the other way around?) The hotel was one of the nicest I have been to in the last 2 years; Really - there was not a thing wrong with the room or anything in the room, it was in excellent 5 star room for the price.

this hotel was great for the price. i went on vacation with some friends so we only used the room to shower, sleep, and a quick breakfast then we were gone enjoying our vacation.

There is a 1/2 inch gap under the door making it cold in the room. The heater works only sporadically. The bed is a little too firm. Wouldn't pay peak rate for this room. Wood floors are nice.

The views from the hotel are nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The people are friendly and helpful. You should eat at the Shoney's across the intersection; it is nice, clean and also very friendly. Downtown waynesville is just a couple of exits up and very easy to get to, along with a nice shopping center that is also just a couple of exits […] up. We enjoyed our time and will stay here again. The hotel is located by a highway and a Lowe's, but noise is not an issue as the hotel sits on a tall hill. The rooms have laminated floors which was much nicer than a carpeted room, and they were clean. There was a decent-sized fridge and microwave for saving on food expenses and a hairdryer and hot water for showering even in the mornings. The bed […] was firm, but I slept great on it. The coffee provided in the room is weak and be sure to bring your own shampoo since they provide one tiny ketchup-style packet of a shampoo/conditioner combo. This was a clean room I felt safe and comfortable in, important as a woman traveling alone. It's not a luxury room, but for the low price I thought it was an incredible value and had money to tip housekeeping generously each day I was there thanks to the savings on lodging. Читати далі

We had to travel to Waynesville for a funeral, at the last minute. It was central, and very accommodating. I will come here again, under better circumstances.

Great comfortable stay! Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Beautiful view of the Smokey Mountains off our private balcony. (If looking for a GREAT place to eat nearby, I recommend Fat Buddies BBQ). I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to friends and family!

On our way to TN and stopped here for the night. Clean hotel with friendly service. Checked in after midnight with no issues. Fantastic view of mountains with breakfast! Great value!

The only problem I had was the walls are thin. You could hear noise from all the other rooms around you. Rooms are very "long" lots of wasted space, however small sink and counter space. Need more or bigger towels. Breakfast in lobby is OK. Screen door to balcony was broken, despite being full didn't hear much noise.

We only stayed one night, but will definitely consider going back and staying longer. The room was clean and comfortable and felt very safe. Everything was in working order, and I especially enjoyed the private balcony with two rocking chairs for each room. It was a wonderful place to watch the sunset over the mountain. i really liked that the room had hardwood floor. Rooms that are available with dogs should not have carpet. This is what I liked about the hotel. Pleasing location for overnight stays, no amenities as chairs with ottomans in rooms. Perfect for late night arrival, sleep, quick coffee and continental in the am and back on the road.

Check in service was excellent. Enjoyed sitting on the rockers on the balcony. Only complaint was the air shut off during the night and wouldn't come back on. Not sure if they have it programmed because we had two rooms and they both cut off.

The bathtub was very hard to step over into and the bathing area was very small and was a spill over into the room. The room is really wide (as the width of the hotel). This is the 4th or 5th time this year we have stayed here. The hotel is a great value in our opinion. Rooms are generally clean abnd decent sized. The floors need some carpet cleaning in the worst way (your feet get black) and the price you pay for the fabulous views is the traffic noise. Other wise a decent place to stay without going bankrupt.
