This hotel was surprisingly clean and pretty quiet!!! I can't ask for more than that, at the price we paid!

It was convenient, they were nice enough to accommodate our request for early check in and later a request for more towels. It was very affordable and close to everything in town, including our friend's graduation from the marine base, plenty of restaurants, etc. It was clean and spacious enough for two. The staff was also very friendly.

Tom smelled like pine sol but I'd rather have that smell than other smells that could have been there. Breakfast was just some eggo waffles and cereal. Nothing spectacular but I just needed a cheap room.

All smoking rooms should be located on the same floor. The bath tub did not have a drain stop that prevented the taking a tub bath. No TV channel guide. Surveillance camera in 3rd floor stairwell was missing.

Hotel is perfect walking distance for race shuttle for 17.75k mcm race. Booked for convience.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was very close to my race start for the 17.75K. The room smelled like someone had been smoking pot in it. Other than that, it wasn't bad for $60.

i had to change rooms 3 time the first time because the tv didnt cut on the second time becasue they put me in handicap room which didnt have a refri nor a microwave as well as it was made for a person in a wheel chair to have that room and the last room it had a old red chair that looks like it was decades old like you can see where some one indetations […] were in that chair plus it had a lot of stains in in it over all it was ok for the price but i would not stay there again due to the fact that the hallways smelled like weed and the elvartors inspection list was up to date menaing the last date they showed it was inspected was 2006 and how it looked i believed it Читати далі

the hotel is a little far from dc, but for the price is was not unexpected. staff is friendly and helpful. for anyone on a budget who is not expecting alot of extras it was fine.

I didn't expect a luxury experience but I can honestly say this was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. My father smokes so to be courteous to him I got a smoking room for us to share. I expected a cigarette odor but in addition to that, the room had foul mildew type smell and when I informed the management they had no constructive reply to my complaint. […] On the second day of our stay, I returned to the room to find my toiletry kit missing. After looking all over the room, I found it and my exposed toothbrush in the garbage can. The management offered no explanation or apology for this either. My husband and I booked this hotel for the inaguration 2013. When I first walked in I disgarded the smell of majuriana and kept going to the front desk. The staff, however, was very pleasant so I decided to overlook the people washing their car outside of the hotel, the live band blasting from a mans car in front of the hotel and the weed smell and […] headed to our room. While in our room I thought we could make this work. The television was out dated, but that was fine (we weren't there to live). All was well until I had to use the bathroom and there on the floor was a live roach. This is something I could not handle. My husband and I stayed there for all of ten minutes. Don't recommend this hotel due to safety issues! Teenagers waving gun outside in the parking lot and not a very good responds from police when called!

If you are up for a little adventure this is the hotel for you! But if you demand 5 star quality for 1/2 star prices then you will be shocked to find you get what you pay for. The other reviews were right, the hallways do smell like smoke….because there is smoke in them but I enjoyed it. It was nostalgic, taking me back to the hotels of my youth before […] Americans got so politically correct and overly sensitive that grown adults will act like they just got shot in the face when they detect the slightest hint of cigarette smoke. My room was well worn but clean, you can tell they change your sheets every day because the cigarette burn holes are in different places when you come back in the evening. Plus speaking of nostalgia they have old tube TV’s! I forgot the gentle telltale hum they make when you fire them up! As a bonus I got to practice my Spanish language skills with the other patrons in the establishment and felt very safe because the police showed up about every other night. I thought for the little that the hotel offered, it was very overpriced. A little "seedy" looking.

People working there were friendly. Rooms however have old outdated furniture, beddings and such. It was clean but not as clean as I usually like to have my surroundings. The room was non-smoking but the way it smelled led me to think it wasnt always that way. I read the reviews on Hotel.com. The room was clean, staff was friendly, continental breakfast was nothing to boast about. The review I read before leaving said, "Mildew smell in the rooms." There was that, but the room was clean. Tube T.V., no flat screen. It was decent for an overnight stay.

The ice machine was inconveniently located. Otherwise, it was a good value for the money. I will stay there again.

Location was close to DC area,short driving time. Not too far from shopping and dining. Not a 4 or 5 star but if your looking for a reasonably clean and comfortable place to stay it is pretty good value for the money

Very clean, newly renovated room. Nice TV, microwave oven and mini-fridge. Hallway had strong smell of smoke. Breakfast was honey buns, juice, coffee, two cereals and milk. US Hwy 1 relatively traffic free going 7 minutes south in the morning to Quantical Marine base and north from base in afternoon. My stay had issues, some of were no control of hotel employees. But, upon arrival to our room there were no towels, cleaning lady did not speak "American" english hardly at all, hard time explaining needs. No pun intended but gets old. Second night, big storm, no power. Storm not the issue, we had no backup power where other hotels did. Had to drive […] 30 miles at 1a.m. To buy a fan to cool off somewhat in 105 heat. But other than that, all I cared about was seeing my Marine Son before he headed back over seas for another 3 years. I'm thankful for what I had, no fault of Hotels.com, I will continue to use it in the future. Will also pass on how helpful Hotels.com was with my troubles. Читати далі
