Super 8 Torrance LAX Airport Area - Торренс

We were greeted by a smile by the hotel staff, checked us in really quick. Hotel location is great and close to freeways, groceries, mall, etc. The room is very comfortable, clean and the linens are clean. They even have a shower cap in the room and there are enough supply of towels. This Super 8 location is different than others and beyond a 3 star […] rating. Nothing fancy. Located in nice quiet place. Clean. Heard some noise from people walking upstairs, but not that discomforting. Good place for the price.

The hotel had a high rating but in my opinion it wasn't that great. The customer service was so-so. The lobby smelled like a kitchen, there were a few pastries and coffee only for breakfast and the internet wasn't working. The hotel is clean and had ample parking. Its not a bad place to stay but certainly not worth this high rating in my opinion.

Walls are paper thin. You can hear all discussions from next door.

If you are looking for a hotel that is close to Redondo Beach at a reasonable price, I would recommend the Super 8 LAX Torrance. Only complaint was the complimentary breakfast. Only decaf coffee (no reg.) & juice plus muffins & sweet rolls. I expected cereal, fruit etc. like most Super 8's. On the good side, it was quiet & clean & I would stay here again.

I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Good management, convenient location, good service, clean and quiet, although on a very busy boulevard. Freeway, restaurants, etc.,are all close. It's a great little hotel if you love visiting LA and staying in the south bay as I do.

The price is good. The service is so, so. We had phone calls and when we asked for messages we were told we did not have any. After informing the desk we were sure people were calling us, they started to give us messages. The place is not in the best of shape and it is old. So cracked and dirty clauking in the bathroom and slightly damage furniture. […] Good TV channels and hot coffee and package pastries in the morning. I would not stay there again if given the choice. I stayed here for a quick trip. Management is very friendly and the room was nice. I would stay here again!

3rd floor I guess is where the "smoking" rooms are.. As soon as the elevator door opens on that floor, a really strong odor of marijuana is in the air. I held my breathe to til I got in my room. The room smelt a little bit like it too so I stuft towels under the door. I don't know if it was like that everyday, but that night sucked.

Excellent service, I had trouble opening the door and the clerk sent the maintanence person right away to see what the problem was and took care of it. I was so glad they didnt make me wait. Great location, close to shopping and convenient stores.

Yes, it's cheap accommodation but that's no good if you can't sleep because you're hearing people in the rooms next door getting up to "who knows what". There is no security on the premises, the elevator entrance is virtually on the street front and anyone can access it. There's no safe in the rooms, no internet access, no laundry service and the staff […] speak very good Mexican. Security is a major concern in this part of Torrance so please be aware of this. (Sepulveda Blvd) There are no general food stores in the area, it's at least a ten minute drive to access one. There's much better hotels in the southern areas of Torrance / Redondo Beach along the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) for the same price and lots of amenities and attractions near by. Читати далі

The service was not adequate. The manager was unfriendly. I reserved a non-smoking room through Hotels.com and ended up with a smoking room. It was a terrible experience as the manager said he did not have a non-smoking room left. The breakfast was almost non-existent. All they offered was coffee and muffins, non even milk!!! We stayed here for a disneyland trip and I can honestly tell you the rooms smelt cheap and awhful, I read the reviews of the road noise and its true! like sleeping 10ft away from a freeway. For the money i spent on mickey mouse i would have saved some and went extra on a nicer hotel

It was a nice stay, clean room, good service, close to LAX.

The managers (owners?) were very nice people and treated me with respect and kindness. One morning, around 5:00 a.m., I left my room for ice and returned to find my key had been "de- magnetized". The hotel is close to everything including the beach communities but is far from the great. The smoking and non-smoking rooms are mixed and smell like a cross between pot smoke, tobacco and cat urin. Never stay unless you are paying for a place for your inlaws or anyone else you might not like.

This was a good hotel. Nice staff, good neighborhood, clean spacious room. There is limited parking but we were able to obtain a spot under the hotel - plus it is free. THIS HOTEL OFFER NOT ONLY A CONFORTABLE ENVIROMENT, BUT ALSO A GOOD SERVICE, RELIABLE INTERNET CONNECTION, CLEAN AND GOOD LOCATION

You get what you pay for. We had to book this at the last minute for the memorial day weekend. The room was just OK. It looks run down. The bathroom fittings(faucet, toilet flush, shower) definitely needs rapairs.

I spent time reading reviews before we chose this hotel. Yes, the beds were firm. But the location was just what we needed, the rooms were clean and kept up, and we got just what we asked for. I can't ask for anything more, especially because the price was right.

This was a pleasant surprise for 60 bucks. Inside nice hallways. A hard bed (not top quality but ok). Room was clean. The sheets and pillow cases were much better than the Embassy suites I spent 190 for. The towels were actually good. The people running it seemed good as well.

Location information was wrong. It was very long way to the international airport.

The hotel is located in a very good area, not far from LAX. We got there with our 7 month old baby and found a very clean (very important to me) and very well maintained hotel and room. Employees were very friendly at check in. Room was small but nice. Outdoor Parking is limited and most of it was in a garage. If you have a tall vehicle (like we did) it can be tricky. The noisest place I have ever stayed at. The people in the next room were up at 4 am playing music loudly, talking, and singing. We could hear every word.

The hotel Super 8 in Torrance was very clean. Asked for a non-smoking room and I got it. Staff was polite. Location was close to the freeway and not far from a friend's house.

Muy agradable, con comodidad, limpieza y buena atencion.

部屋は広く清潔でベッドも大きく過ごしやすかった。 鍵は部屋の入口がカードキーオートロックですが、フロントを通らずエレベーターに乗れるのでセキュリティーとしては多少の不安はあるかと思います。 フロントの方は日本語が通じないので、少しく戸惑いますが親切な対応をして頂けました。 レンタカーがないと不便ですが、買い物・食事・コンビニへ行くのも車であればすぐです。 慣れている方には料金が安く非常におすすめです。

Trist morgenmad, den består kun af kaffe og muffins.

Morgenmaden var kedelig, kaffe og muffins.

En general todo bien excepto el "desayuno", que está muy por debajo de lo ofrecido: el café y el pastelito (ese es el desayuno) hay que tomarlo de pie!! y en ocasiones ya no había siquiera esto. Muy malo si se le compara con lo ofrecido por los otros hoteles de la cadena que utilizamos.
