i go for cheapest rates i can find, this was far better than expected, clean, very nice american folks at desk. walk to steak house, very happy happy happy!!

Was disappointed with the room. The interior walls of the room were the same as the exterior. The air conditioning did not work well. Even after turning on high cool the room was still stuffy and remained so all night. The halls smelled of smoke. The room itself did not but we were next to a smoking room. They should separate them better. There was […] nothing to do in town but visit a WalMart. This seemed to cater more to truck drivers looking to get off the road for the night. front desk staff always friendly and helpful, the breakfast time is understaffed, the front desk person is the breakfast person, she was not able to wipe down tables and stock the food as should have been. Housekeeping? Stayed there 3 nights, they did nothing but give clean towels n cups n coffee and empty trash. didn't make the beds, didn't turn off […] coffee pot etc. otherwise ok hotel. hall carpets needed cleaned but rooms were ok. not the Hamton but good for Super 8 Читати далі

For the price, I am pleased with the conditions. My only real complaint is that they mix the "nonsmoking rooms" with the "smoking rooms" so while our room mostly stayed "nonsmoking," as soon as you opened the hallway you would be enveloped by the smell of smoke. It was so bad at times, we almost left.

This is a dive motel just off the interstate, so don't expect much in the way of service or amenities. It is what it is, a motel next to a truck stop. Overall the building was clean (yet dated), but the area (next to an abandoned McDonalds and a truck stop) isn't exactly pretty. However, it is a stones throw away from the interstate so you can be back […] on your way quickly. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked well, the old TV had issues and the non-smoking room and nearby hallways had clearly been smoked in recently. Hotel smells of cigarettes, and chair in my room was dirty. I found some cereal on the floor when I checked in. The breakfast has no fruit or protein to eat. The parking lot needs to be paved. The hotel is safe, and and the bed is comfortable.

Motel is in need of re-modeling. Caulk around tub was cracked and had been repaired so it just was kind of a turn off to look at. Toilet rocked on its setting. Would like to see them expand their breakfast selection a little. Staff was super freindly and courtesies.

The room was comfortable as well as the beds. The hallways smelt musty and the room had felt humid. The dinning room for breakfast was very nice. Could have used the TV in the dinning area instead of in front of the front desk

The Super 8 in Corbin, Kentucky is clean, comfortable, convenient and inexpensive. I enjoyed the stay and will stay again next time I'm in town.

Found a bug in the bed, looked it up on the internet to make sure it wasn't a bed bug. Room was stale, and had stains on the chair in the room. No elevator.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Day staff went out of their way to help with finding a good place to eat. Pets are welcomed. Rooms were clean. We needed adjoining rooms and when I made the reservations I asked for first floor since one of our group did not get around very well on steps. Signed in and was given the second floor. The young man at […] the desk apologized and switched us to the first floor immediately. Am going back down and will stay there again. I also left some personal items there. This exper ience was not a good one. We arrived late and have never had problems getting a rollaway bed before but were told we could not get one - if it had not been a holiday weekend I would have cancelled at that point, worst of all the guy at the hotel did nothing to try to rectify the situation he did not care. Then the hallway to the place smelled […] really bad. The free breakfast was a joke. So glad this was just a one night stop on our way to our holiday vacation. What the facility lacked in overall condition it more than made up for in the quality of the service. The building looks tired inside and out, seems to be maintained at the bare minimum. We asked for an upper room after the original lower-level room we were assigned did not meet my wife's minimum criteria because of the dankness of it. It smelled and […] felt like a basement. I'm sure that running the AC would've cured it, but my wife would have none of it. Our request was cheerfully, even eagerly granted and the upper room was quite satisfactory. We were amused by the art over each headboard. The only difference between the two scenic prints was a stain in one corner of one of them. But hey, we just needed a bed for the night and grub in the morning. Breakfast was just passable, but was being served by a lady who, like the woman who'd worked a double shift the day/night before, was sweetness personified. I'd return just for the hospitality of the two women we encountered who work the desk. They were absolutely delightful. As we were leaving, the owner was arriving and he seemed braced for something else when I stopped him to tell him how pleased we were with his desk staff. He was visibly relieved when he realized that that would be the extent of our dialog with him, almost as if he's used to somewhat more negative feedback. Читати далі

I can't really say a whole lot about this hotel. My family and I only stayed there one night while traveling to Gatlinburg,TN. It was in a good location, just off main interstate. It was nice that there was a McDonalds next door. It was good for the price.

Motel was ok, all surfaces sticky, in-room coffee never replaced, beds only made once, towels never replaced. Map of motel location given by Hotels.com was incorrect, took an hour to find after calling motel.

As stated by other travelers, the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. The room had a musty odor, but lowering the AC helped that. The room was clean, the area was quiet. Worth the money. Warning: located in a dry county!

The motel is older so the rooms were not as modern as some Super 8s I've stayed in but it was tolerable. The breakfast was so skimpy that we chose to eat at Cracker Barrel. We had to swap out some of the bath linens because it looked like they had dirt spots on them. I stayed in this same motel two years ago and don't remember having these kind of issues. […] Access to the motel is difficult also. No elevators to the upper floors. Don't even know where to begin. When we arrived it was 90 degrees and none of the air in the rooms was on. Beds were like rocks. Bathtub had dirty footprints in it. "Breakfast" was stale bread/bagels and a "wafflemaker" that the waffles stuck to and had to be pried off. Stay elsewhere.

The location was good with resturants nearby and shopping. We were surprised that my husband could not get his wheelchair around in the room but they did tell us they did not have handicap accessible rooms. However, they did have handicap signs on some of the room doors on our floor. We won't stay there again because of non-accessibility and smoke in hallway. However, the breakfast was nice, the service and friendliness of staff was good, the room was clean & sheets nice. Dieses Hotel ist es nicht wert, diesen Namen zu fuehren. Als erstes stimmte die Beschreibung der Lage nicht. In der Map ist es ziemlich weit entfernt von der Interstate. Als Resultat, es war direkt an dieser. Der Rezeptionist, in dreckigen Klamotten, war mehr als unfreundlich und ausgebildet. Das Zimmer war der Horror selbst. Dreckig, Flecken auf den […] Kissen, durchgesessene, zerfetzte Sitzmoebel, ein auseinanderfallendes, dreckiges Bad und fast undurchsichtige Fenster. Die Klimaanlage haben wir uns fast nicht getraut anzumachen, blieb uns aber leider nichts uebrig, es war zu kalt. Auf die Frage, was das waere mit den Kopfkissen, wurde mir nur gesagt, "normale Kopfkissen". Auf meinen verzweifelten Blick bekam ich nur zur Antwort " Jesus, its quiet OK ", aber ich koennte auch andere haben. Ich lehnte " dankend " ab, ich hatte den Vorratsraum hinter ihm gesehen.
