Most travellers to Vienna will spend the majority of their time exploring the Innenstadt (centre). Neatly circumscribed by the Ringstrasse, this area is largely pedestrianised, with quaint cobbled streets and medieval squares. The city's focal point is the Gothic spire of the Stephansdom and key attractions include the huge Hofburg palace and the Spanish Riding School.

We just returned form our visit to Vienna, Austria where we stayted at the Bristol Hotel. We have been there befre and we will certaily go back there again. We have been to hotels all over the world and constue to believe that this is our most favorite. Great ambiance, great service, stupendous location.

"Hotel Bristol Fantastic Location"
Wonderful historic old building. Service was impeccable, room was terrific. Europe needs to discover the heavenly bed, but otherwise couldn't have been better. Handy to entrance for the U Bahn. Restaurant has terrific food a d friendly help. I needed help selecting an affordable bottle of wine, and got that help with no attitude attached.

They have their act together when it comes to treating their customers like they mattered. They spoke english, responded immediately to our needs, and "did it right". Across the street from the Opera House, it's 50 ft. from bus, tram, and underground stops and within walking distance to museums, churches, and the Hofburg. Comfy bed, nice decor. Beautifully restored, 5 star historic hotel. Gorgeous bath, bedroom w/ balcony view of opera house. Outstanding experience.
"Beautiful, but weigh costs against benefits"
The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and in a very convenient location. The staff was extremely helpful and service was great. However, the cost isn't really worth it unless you plan on spending all your time in the room. We saved quite a bit staying a little further out for a couple of nights (near Westbanhof on U3) and just used the U to get into […] the city. Other things to know: the hotel charges for everything ("convenience fees") and breakfast apparently isn't included with your room (despite the confirmation letter we received). We also spent about 2 hours waiting for a technician to "fix" the hot water in our room, which wasn't working because it hadn't been used in a number of days(!?). Читати далі

"Good location, but lousy room and service"
We had booked a de-luxe room and were given a miserable dark room wthout windows. Staff showed absolutely no interest or willingness to do something about it. The hotel has a very good location, but avoid it.

Har aldri bodd flottere. Et vakkert hotell i sentrum av Wien. Fredelig, ikke sjenerende støy fra gaten. Et stort værelse med utmerket bad og mye garderobeplass. Safe på rommet. Flott service fra vi steg ut av drosjen, hvor våre kofferter ble hentet og bragt opp på værelset. Hyggelige personale i resepsjonen som uoppfordret ga mye informasjon. Utmerket […] resturant med stor frokostbuffet. Prisen på frokosten, som ikke er inludert i prisen, kanskje i overkant dyr. Det kommer vel an på hvor glad man er i frokost og hvor mye en spiser.
