Palazzo Sant'Angelo sul Canal Grande - A SINA Hotel - Венеція

Hotel was very nice; two suggestions.1) Better lighting in main room.2) The bath tub is very high and difficult to get out. Perhaps a step by the tub.

we booked this hotel mainly due to the positive reviews and it lived up to our expectation. my wife is hard to please and she loved everthing about the hotel. we can't recommend it highly enough. we shall stay there again when we return to venice

Chose this hotel on location by Canale Grande and got a room to the back, which was a bit of a disappointment at first. But the room was comfortable, the bed supercomfy and the location was great. Close to Rialto, San Marco and Accademia. The staff at the hotel was friendly.

The Palazzo Sant'Angelo sul Canal Grande is well located on the Canal Grande and generally of a high standard. My only criticisms were: 1. Breakfast - not up to standard for a 4 star hotel and the coffee is appalling. 2. Front desk - Service was professional but not particularly friendly

Beautiful hotel. Worth the extra few dollars. Courteous helpful staff. Nice rooms. Great location ( are any locations not great in Venice?). Easy walking to Rialto Bridge and St . Marks Square. Very convenient for public water transport from Marco Polo Airport. ( much cheaper than water taxi)

Make sure you know which ferry line and stop in San Marco to reach this hotel before getting to Venice. (Piazza Sant' Angelo)

I frequently stay in 4 and 5 star hotels in the US (for business travel) and this one is comparable in my opinion. Very nice with modern ammenities but classic Venetian style. Conveniently located in a quiet area, only steps away from the Sant Angelo vaporetto stop (look to your right when you get off the boat), and a short walk to shops, restaurants, […] and the much busier Piazza San Marco. Breakfast offering is substantial with both hot and cold selections. And the hotel has its own dock on the Grand Canal which is convenient for catching a water taxi to the airport for early flights. Beautiful room & friendly, helpful staff,

The Palazzo San't Angelo Hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, large and varied and served in a beautiful salon. Fabric on the walls in the bedroom was surpassed by the marble bathroom with a jacuzzi and double sinks. The neighborhood was quiet and there were numerous shops and galleries within walking distance. A complimentary […] water taxi ride was provided to Murano and back to San Marco. Although the hotel was close to a water taxi stop, it was too far from San Marco. There was no storage in the hotel room, or bathroom. The front desk never had any change, nor do they have a computer for guest's use. Most of the employees were friendly, but there were one or two, who seemed to be bothered when you asked for directions, etc. The breakfast […] buffet was very limited. Palazzo Sant' Angelo had a great location right beside the San Angelo Vaperetto stop. The staff was very helpful with all request and breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Venice!

Being that Venice is so old It's hard to judge It's hotels with the same standards I normally would use. It was an overall nice hotel, but a little overpriced. Staff was pretty nice as long as you don't try and talk to them anymore then necessary. We did find a bottle of proseco in the room when we checked in, which was thoughtful. I think Hotels.com […] told them it was our anniversary. The bed was hard but we were so tired from the long flight it didn't matter. The room was big, but our view was a little side stream in an ally. We didn't spend that much daylight in the room anyway to care about the view. Overall It was Pretty good. Hope this helps!!! Easy & convenient to find near the vaporetta stop, welcoming staff, room was fantastic with jacuzzi bath, overal a great experience. Would stay here again and recommend it to others. Only negative is there is no resturant in the hotel, however lots close by

The Palazzo San't Angelo is very well located while still in a quiet neighborhood. It is two steps away from a vaporretta stop and once we found our way around, I couldn't believe how centrally located we were from everywhere. The staff was very professional and friendly. The hotel was small and very sweet. The rooms where clean and the hospitality was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although I think the breakfast could given by them could have been better. overall a very good hotel.

Extremely comfortable. First class staff and the accomadations were great. Good sized room with a very comfortaboe bed. The bathroom had everyting you needed with a jacuzzi. Long weekend in Oct 2010 - will keep this simple. The Pros ( Great Location , Quiet at night, Good staff, nice rooms (if a little small). Cons - Expensive, poor breakfast, WIFI not working ) All in all - Venice was a great weekend, and Hotel did not take from overall enjoyment..

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is lovely, with views of the Rialto Bridge from the pier, and there is a vaporetto stop just steps from the hotel. Drinks are served at little tables outside the front of the hotel facing the canal. I was able to sit and watch the world float by for hours and it was very pleasant and interesting […] indeed. The Palazzo Sant'Angelo is a beautiful hotel on the Grand Canal. It is right on the number 1 water bus line, which is a handy thing if you want to use a water bus. Being on the Grand Canal is also extremely convenient if you need to take a water taxi to the airport, which we did at 5 in the morning. While other people might have had to lug luggage down […] the windy streets and over the multiple bridges to get to a water taxi or water bus, we just walked outside. Our rooms were beautiful and well-maintained. We were at the back of the hotel so we didn't have canal views, which must be been lovely. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, which is a nice change from the crowds and noise of other parts of Venice. It was easy to get around (after a few mistakes, which happens very easily in Venice's maze-like streets) by using the signs to San Marco or the Alle Academia and Palazzo Grassi. The hotel staff was polite and helpful. The continental breakfast was adequate. There is a lovely bar where they offer a light menu. My son got sandwiches at 8:30 PM. There is a nice lobby to sit in. An excellent hotel, from arrival to departure, it was all great. The room was very spacious, the service excellent. The breakfast buffet was rich; we even got a glass of Prosecco each day.

We stayed Palazzo Sant'Angelo after a cruise. The hotel is exceptional. It is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful. The front desk speaks English well. We arrived early and they were very accomodating. They brought our luggage to the room and left us in early at no extra charge. Take water taxi 1 to the Sant'Angelo stop. As you leave the taxi […] make a right. The hotel is the second building on the left (the canal is on the right). You can view the Rialto Bridge from the hotel. The rooms were much larger than expected. The robes and slippers are a nice touch. The beds were comfortable to my husband and I. They were much better than the bed on the cruise ship. The area is quite and peaceful but close enough to the hussle and bustle. The hotel scheduled anything we asked for or needed. Our water taxi to the airport was on time and very nice. The location is perfect...close to everything, while also in a quiet area. Everything was great, the only reason I marked it down at all is that the glasses were not washed during our stay (2 nights).

Hotel staff was outstanding. Helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Eagerly arranged trains and tours of Murano for us. Room was spacious and very comfortable having every ammenity. Breakfast was a bit sparce for a Sina hotel. I would not opt for that again. Location was good. We got a great deal on this hotel from Hotels.com and were very satisfied to find that it was such a nice hotel. It's a little out of the way, which you appreciate during the day when you're tired of the crowds in the more popular areas, but if you are walking home from a later dinner, it gets a little desolate - not unsafe though. I would highly recommend […] - the staff was very friendly. The Hotel's location on the Grand Canal in view of the Rialto bridge is excellent. You can walk easily to all of the major tourist attractions and the vaporatto station is literally one door down. The quality, condition and decor of the hotel are all excellent. We were pleased with the size of the room and the furnishings. The staff went out of their […] way to be helpful and most spoke english (or at least enough english to communicate). The breakfast that was included was a nice way to start the day without having to go find someplace to eat. Overall the only things we were not completely happy with are too minor to mention specifically. We would definately stay here again on future trips and would recommend it to anyone going to Venice. 個人旅行で行くならヴァポレット乗り場すぐのこのホテルをオススメします。重い荷物を持っている場合、ヴェネツィアでは自分で引いて歩き、橋を渡り、ホテルに着くころにはぐったり・・、と言ったことにならないためにもヴァポレット乗り場近くのホテルを狙ったほうが賢明です。 さて、ホテルの中ですが、今回カナルグランデ向きのジュニアスイートにしましたが、正解でした。多少外がうるさいものの、リアルト橋が眺められ、ヴァポレットに乗る観光客からは羨望のまなざしを向けられること間違いなしです。内装もすばらしく、友達と共に「こんな部屋がほしい！」と思うくらい可愛らしい部屋でした。

トリップアドバイザーで高評価だったので、予約してみました。その評価の通り、良いサービス、フレンドリーなスタッフは非常に好感を持てます。目の前の水上バスで簡単にあちこち移動出来るので、非常に楽な場所です。 小さなバルコニーからグランカナルの見えるスイートを予約し、部屋はおよそ想像した通りでした。壁は紙では無く素晴らしいデザインの布で出来ており、内装のレベルの高さは流石に歴史の町という感じです。ニュージーランド人の彼女もこのサンタンジェロの暖かくロマンティックな雰囲気にうっとり。旅の雰囲気を盛り上げるには十分なホテルでした。ただ「超豪華」を求める方は遠慮された方が良いでしょう。「小奇麗で小ぢんまり」したホテルです。 カップルでしっぽり大人の雰囲気を味わいたい方にお薦めのホテルです。

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Particularily the breakfast staff, they were extremely nice and made sure the breakfast buffet was never missing anything. Even when we went to breakfast at 10:00, we had a wide choice to choose from. The hotel is very conveniently located :10meters away from the vaporetto stop Sant'Angelo, a 10 minutes walk […] from Piazza San Marco, Accademia and Rialto. Ein wirklich schönes Hotel mit hervorragender Komtetenz geführt. Sehr aufmerksamer Service machen den Aufenthalt zum Genuss. Nahezu zentrale Lage und unmittelbarer Wasserbusanschluss machen die Exkursionen zu einer Leichtigkeit.
