i highly recommend hotel aniene. modern, clean, professional, nice breakfast, friendly staff. the location of the hotel, as a known problem, didn't bother me much as when i was in rome, i found that there were so many buses with which i could gain access to it. in case of going back to the hotel after mid-night, taking a bus from termini would cost about 13~15 euros.

"Conveniently located"
Conveniently located to all major sight seeing locations. Walking distance to Metro Station. Good neighboorhood .
"Good Location"
This hotel was close enough to Rome's main Train Station (Termini) to be very convenient, yet far enough away not to be in the thick of the 'colorful clientele' that hangs around the station. Clean and serviceable, albeit the rooms were small and the furnishings were old. I'd stay there again.

"The Hotel D'Este"
The neighborhood is not very good. Nothing like the Website. The comforter in our room stank so much we had to put it outside in the balcony. Hotel is located in a very noisy street and the breakfast was very bad.
"Stay somewhere else"
Hotel D'Este is pretty bad. The rooms are larger than average European rooms, but everything inside is kind of dirty, broken, and old. For the same or less money you can stay at much nicer hotels in different parts of Rome. Don't worry about your location in Rome, everything is pretty convenient by walking or metro. As long as you're not on the outskirts […] of the city you'll be fine. Breakfast is included here but it's not very good. Don't expect much help from the staff other than to be friendly and polite. "Not what we expected"
The room was clean, everything else was terrible. The furniture in the lobby and room would have been thrown in the garbage if it were mine (see picture of lobby furniture). The WiFi is only available in the lobby but did not work. The desk clerk would not turn on the A/C in the room because he said it was cool enough outside (it was an 80 degree day). […] When pressed he said he could not find the A/C remote to turn it on. The windows were left open to get some cooling air but the road noise kept us up all night. The bedside lights were about 40 watts making it impossible to read a book during the night. The TV was a 12" screen (picture attached). The pictures in the Hotels.Com listing are very deceiving as was the desk clerk. I usually do not send in reviews, but future patrons need to be aware of these poor conditions. Читати далі
"Man ist wirklich mittendrin."
Alles in allem waren es schöne Tage. Das Frühstück war für mich ok, weil ich sowieso nur Süßes zum Frühstück esse. Wer Luxus will, sollte ein anderes Hotel buchen.
"Centralt belligende hotel i "China town""
Hotellet ligger meget centralt i forhold til seværdigheder, men det ligger i det italienske Chinatown... Gammelt interiør - men alt virkede - og her var meget stille og roligt. Fin morgenmad, men ikke Continental! Reception 24 i døgnet og fri wifi - desværre ikke på værelserne! Men når man kun skal overnatte og ha morgenmad fungerer det fint til den […] billige pris! a primera impresion te la da de hostal, pero es de primera calidad.El personal y servicio es excelente, la limpieza diaria ,muy centrico de todo y buena conbinacion para bus, trenes y metro. "近い 安い 快適"
テルミニから近いです。ホテルマンも愛想がいいです。なんといってもよいのは中庭のお洒落さ。WI-FIも快適です。この値段では十分ではないでしょうか。

Dejligt hotel til prisen- tæt på centrum ! Det var rigtigt hyggeligt, og personalet var venlige og søde. Morgenmaden var fin, og udsigten til santa maria maggiore var fantastisk ! Værelset var stort, rent og varmt, lå rigtigt tæt på stationen og Colusseum!

L'hotel è in una buona posizione. La camera è ammobiliata in modo modesto ma è pulita e ordinata. La TV funzionava male ma lo considero un problema secondario. Discreta la colazione (il caffè della macchinetta è imbevibile ma il resto è negli standard di un hotel a questo prezzo) però consumata in una stanza gelida. "hôtel charmant"
points positifs: jolies chambres propres et bon lit, petit déjeuner sur une terrasse avec une véranda toute en bois (très agréable), à 5 min de la gare Termini, WiFi gratuit dans le lobby points négatifs: isolation phonique inexistante entre les chambres et le couloir, menu du petit déjeuner assez médiocre, un peu excentré par rapport aux points d'intérêt […] de la ville (avoir de bonnes chaussures pour visiter), info touristiques parfois erronées du personnel d'accueil Читати далі
"Romantisk hotel tæt på colosseum"
Romantisk hotel med ok værelse. Der var, hvad der skulle være, selv om værelset var småt. Badeværelset var dog noget kompakt indrettet. Hyggelig morgenmadsrestaurant med ok udvalg. Hotellet lå i gåafstand fra hovedbanegården Stazione Termini.

the room was clean and comfortable, not recently renewed but still OK. the bathroom a little bit too old. very poor water pressure in the shower. poor breakfast. Still D'este it's a good choice in the area.
