Named after the Hussite leader Jan Zizka, winner of a historic battle against invading forces in 1420, this is an eastern suburb. A huge equestrian statue commemorates Zizka on Vitkov Hill, where the Communist-era National Monument (1927–32) symbolizes the Czech struggle for independence. Lovely budget hotel, nice breakfests, Zizkov surrounding is very interesting (Cerny's sculptures on TV tower), but (there is always a but), but the quilts were as thin as paper, It was so cold, I could not sleep, even though I set the heaters to full heat. "Hotel Dalimil in Prague - good choice"
Very nice hotel. Good localization (near Florenc Bus Terminal). Clean room in fair standard.. Nice and helpfull stuff (special thanks for possibility of earlier check in). Big and tasty breakfast. IMO Excellent choice for one who are looking for cheap stay near center and don't like hostels.

Warm and welcoming hotel with very helpful staff and good sized comfortable rooms. Breakfast lacked a little, but apart from this an excellent stay. The local area is not very tourism focused so you get to see the real Prague which is excellent. Situated in a good neighbourhood. Good breakfast with attending pleasant staff at the restaurant. You get the feeling other personnel are pleasant but poor communication in english.Only five available TV channels with one english speaking i.e eurosports.Should make available at least one news station for english speaking visitors.
"Value for the price"
5 minutes in the tram to the city centre. Can buy tram tickets at the store across the road Bit of a hill up to the tram stop but not too steep. Breakfast included and well stocked. Good cheap Pilsner bar/restaurant half way up the hill to tram stop. Ate there every night.

My boyfriend and I stayed there for 4 nights and the overall impression is good and we enjoyed the stay. "Nice hotel with nice people ...."
Hotel Dalimil is a perfect place to stay when you are on vacation in Prague. The hotel has all the facilities and nicest of staff people. You will get all possible facilities in the hotel. Hotel is located at the heart of the city and it takes only 10-15 minutes by tram to reach to the city center. All in all, a good hotel with good service.

we got a nice room with a small bathroom (very clean!!!). breakfast buffet was tasty and fresh. entire spot is located pretty close to the main train station (very handy if you travel by train). Walking distance to city centre (up to 25mins walk to Vaclavske Namesti or Namesti Republiky). if you don't feel like walking, get a tram - it is only 3 stops […] away from the hotel (line 5 & 9 get you to the above locations). tram stop is located 5mins away from hotel. don't buy one or three-day passes, as it is not worth it. you get to the centre and back for 36kr (18kr each way). what i would suggest before booking is that you make sure you have a chance to select what type of bed you wish to have. after i had hit "submit" and printed out areservation, i spotted that we have a twin-bed room, so I emailed hotel before arrival to ask if there is a chance to get a room with one bed (i didnt get married to sleep on the couch/ separate bed:) ) they replied to me they would do their best to provide us with such a room. upon arrival we got a room with....2 beds!! "Hotel Dalimil Praag; prima prijs/kwaliteit."
Prima prijs/kwaliteit. 5min bergop (!) naar tramhalte Lipanska waar zeer regelmatig verschillende lijnen stoppen. Sober maar prima ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Ondanks enkele voelbare veren in het bed, prima nachtrust gehad. Vele malen veeel slechter verbleven voor meer dan het dubbele per nacht.

"구시가지에서 조금 떨어진 조용한 호텔"
11월24일부터 29일간 이용하였습니다. 프라하의 기온은 추었구요. 호텔 위치는 주요관광지와는 조금 떨어져 있습니다. 그렇기에 관광을 위해서 트램이나 지하철, 버스를 먼저 숙지하시고 관광하시는것이 편할것입니다. 아침식사는 한국사람들 입맛에 맞지는 않을것 같으며 따로 고추장이나 컵라면 등을 챙기시는것이 좋을것입니다. 영어가 통하지 않는 직원이 있을 경우가 있었는데, 많이 불편했구요. 덕분에 방에서 따뜻한 물한모금 못 마셨습니다. 드라이기 역시 없었구요. 화장실에 바디솝만 비치되어있고 나머지는 모두 가져가셔야 합니다. 주변은 조용해서 쉬기에는 좋았습니다. 마지막으로 물도 유료이기에 가까운 편의점에서 사가시는것을 권해드립니다 […] . "Bra hotell-rimelig pris-5 min trikk til sentrum"
Du får mye for pengene. Frokost er inkudert med bra utvalg av pålegg og kornprodukter. Tilogmed kake til frokost kaffe. Mange lokale resturanter i gå avstand: Tjekkisk, kinesisk og italiensk. Anbefaler tur til parken bak hotellet med nasjonalmonument, museum og flott utsikt. Trikk 9 går 8 ganger i timen til sentrum.

Et helt greit hotel for de planlegger å være mye på farta. Hotelbetjeningen kunne vært noe bedre i engelsk. Gåavstand til sentrum ca 25-30 min. Går regelmessig buss. "Hoteltaxien" tilbake til flyplassen er ikke en taxi, men rett og slett en gammel caravelle som mest sannsynlig blir brukt privat.

Excellent mix of location, price and quality! Plus great breakfast - best choice for those who wants to forget about a car or transportation and have just a couple of minutes walk to the must see places in Prague!

Rustig, net hotel op ca. 2 km lopen van het oude centrum (iets meer van de Praagse Burcht). Redelijk goed ontbijtbuffet. Het hotel ademt een sfeer van vergane glorie en de inrichting is nogal oubollig. Geen eigen parkeergelegenheid dus je moet op straat parkeren (betaald en niet al te veilig) of een parkeergarage zoeken. De receptionisten spraken nogal […] gebrekkig engels. Ook geen goede restaurants in de directe omgeving kunnen vinden. Maar ondanks dat voor ons een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Читати далі

Très bon séjour à l'hôtel Dalimil. Proche du centre historique de Prague, simple d'accès en bus (le 133 est direct). Le personnel de l'hotel est très sympathique et serviable. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables - très lumineuses le matin, il faut penser au masque de nuit pour pouvoir se reposer !
Greit hotell,god frokost. En fin spasertur fra sentrum. Personalet var veldig hjelpsomme.

"Dalimil-Bra hotell i billiga kvarter."
Denna hotell ligger lite utanför, vilket vi inte alls såg som en nackdel. Tvärtemot- man ser mer när man bor lite utanför. Riktigt bra och lätta förbindelser till centrum med både buss och spårvagn. (ca. 10kr). Många billiga affärer och små autentiska Tjeckiska restauranger i området. Trevlig personal, ok frukost. Ett tips: be inte hotellet boka taxi, […] boka själv eller be om att de bokar en "riktig" taxi (gula bilarna). Eller kolla åtminstone priset med chauffören innan resan. Kan bli dyrt annars. Malgré les apparences extérieures, cet hôtel est très bien entretenu. La chambre que nous avons eue était plutôt grande et propre. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux (chaud, froid, salé, sucré) et la serveuse très active pour débarasser les plats terminés. Pour aller dans le centre, il y a 2 options : - A pied (25 à 30 min) - En tram (5 min de marche […] jusqu'à l'arrêt, puis 5 min de tram) Points négatifs : - Il n'y a pas de volets dans les chambres. Donc c'est réveil assuré entre 5h et 6h du matin l'été ! The area around the hotel has a fairly bad reputation, but it seemed unfair to us. Many houses are being repaired and the area will probably be a lot more fashionable in a couple of years. It is possible to walk to the city centre (ca 2 km). The breakfast is rich and good, and the staff friendly.

Bra value for the money hotell, med god frokost. Litt harde senger, men ellers rent,ryddig og enkelt. Perfekt hvis man ikke vil bo midt i suppa, men allikevel kort avstand til sentrum. Riktig taxipris er rundt 30 norske, og metron` koster nesten ingenting inn til main city. Gjennomgående god service fra personalet, og hjelpsomme med det man måtte lure […] på. Mye lokale puber og barer i nærheten, men jeg tror man skal være litt forsiktig med å surre rundt der alene midt på natta, selv om jeg gjorde det. Tar man de vanlige forholdsreglene går det greit. "経済的で満足な朝食"
建物は近隣のものと同じく古いよう。レセプションは感じ良くスムーズ(町では感じ悪いサービスがよくありましたが、特に電車の切符売り場は最悪)。部屋は広いですがちょっと暗い雰囲気。清潔さはだいたい問題ないと思います。地下鉄の駅までは10分ほど、町の中心までは30分ほど歩きますが、周辺は静かで安全。使いませんでしたがバスが通っていました。周辺の便利な店は小さい中国人が経営しているスーパーくらい。ここでは朝食のビュッフェに色々なものがでて楽しめました。
Accueil trés sympathique...Déjeuners copieux...Bus à coté...Metro pas trés loin...Prix sympa... Seul petite ombre au tableau ,il n'y a pas de parking pour la voiture a proximité...(pour ceux qui viennent en voiture

Ett riktigt bra och prisvärt hotell! trevlig och hjälpsam personal, fräscha rum. stor frukostbuffé. lätt att ta sig in till alla huvudattraktioner med buss eller spårvagn. finns dessutom många bra restauranger nära hotellet. rekommenderas varmt!!
"Good service for a verry good price"
What a journey in Prague, the Hotel was verry good, even that it was a little complicated to get there, but by following the instruction of earlier comments about the hotel, it became much easier. Bus 119 from airport to end station Dejvická, then take the Metro to Mustek, then take the tram nr 9 or 33 to Lipanska, 200 meters downhill and you ar there. […] And advice is to look att googlemaps and streetview before to get a hint of how to get there. It takes approx 45-60 minutes. Back to the hotel, the service is verry good and the receptionist have a verry profesional attitude, i was impressed that some of them were multilingual. We had some problem with the lights but it was fixed verry fast. The room we lived in was basic, no luxury but with a verry high confort. The WC was clean so no remark there. The thing that makes this hotel even grater is the breakfast, omg so good, it's a full continental breakfast bufé with all kind of things, from bread to cereal. The thing is that it's kind of hard knowing if it's good or not since all py diferently, we had 5 nights att the cost of approx 160 euro, for two person. So due to that it was verry high valuable for us, i've never been so satisfied for so much for such a low price. But if you pay more i could understand that the review might be different. Читати далі

"Slitent hotell - hyggelig personale"
Vårt rom hadde hatt godt av å gjennomgå en moderniseringsprosess. Resepsjonen og matsalen har sett sine bedre dager. Noe trafikkstøy og utidig klang i kirkeklokker må påregnes. Ca 15 min spasertur til sentrum, buss og trikk tilgjengelig for de som måtte ønske det.

Hotellets personale er smilende,søde og venlige og stiller sig gerne til rådighed ved spørgsmål. Det der gør at hotellet ikke får enestående som topkarakter, er at du ikke har mulighed for at have din bil parkeret hvilket vil sige at du skal leje dig ind, ved et andet hotel. Som oplysning skal det nævnes at man skal passe meget på med at bare at parkere […] bilen, da politiet tager store bøder og fastlåser bilen til du har betalt. Читати далі

Hotellet ligger centralt och på gångavstånd till de mesta sevärdheterna. Frukosten var bra och de flesta i personalen pratade bra engelska.

Ett prisvärt hotell femton minuters promenad från gamla stan. Enkel frukostbuffé, trevlig personal och en hotellstandard som inte erbjuder någonting utöver det förväntade. För den som inte orkar gå till centrum finns både buss och spårvagn alldeles i närheten. Det tar mindre än tio minuter att ta sig till gamla stan därifrån.
