This hotel was a great value for its location and service. We were upgraded to a suite/apartment, presumably because the rooms were full. There was a canal view, a lounge, kitchen, and bathroom. The sheets were stained on one of the beds, and there was not a whole lot of privacy in the shower area. We loved the convenience to Rembrandt Square, and we […] were able to walk to most all of the sites of Amsterdam. Additionally, the room was quiet, and we didn't hear any noise from the nearby clubs. The tram stop is right in Rembrandt Sqaure and was only a 12 minute ride to Centraal Station. The staff was kind and courteous. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so we cannot speak to that. This was a beautiful hotel with very nice rooms. I especially liked the frosted glass shower that looked directly into the sleeping area. The front desk and concierge staff were extremely helpful.

Decent hotel and good price. It's very close to the tram and party area of Rembrandtsplein. Location is very close to the tram and you can rent a bike from the hotel. I would recommend doing this vs. renting it outside as it's very convenient to return the bike (and you get to keep it for 24 hours).

Close to trams, great location for nightlife, friendly staff with good English, room was very clean with an excellent view of Rembrant Square. They even accommodated late check out at no extra charge. Free internet in room was a pleasant surprise.

Good hotel. Great location and friendly staff. The wireless internet is a bit spotty in the lobby, which sometimes was bothersome.

The Eden Rembrandt Square Hotel in Amsterdam was a worthwhile experience. It was relaxing and calming to enter our room after a long day of sightseeing and picture taking to enjoy the amenities offered on-site. We found the room to be spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Hotel is great for those on budget & who want to be in central but not so touristy/overcrowded location of Amsterdam. Lots of great restaurants & cafes in the area. Check-in & check-out had long lines - they should employ a few more people at the hotel. And was hard to get hold of concierge & bellman. But otherwise hotel was a good experience.

Nice place in a good location. The room was very stylish and comfortable. The front desk staff could have been more friendly, but they were helpful and weren't rude. Also, there were some stains on the carpets, but the room was clean and comfortable and I didn't really mind the stains. we enjoyed our stay at the Eden-Rembrandt in Amsterdam - very well located, clean and nice. One thing though - they did not have Wi-Fi in the room only VPN connection) and that made life harder and inconvenient. Other than that - great hotel.

Great hotel. Perfect location! Close to Rembrandt Square where all the action is, but just far enough away (1/2 block) so there is no noise or foot traffic. Plenty to do in immediate area. No complaints about the hotel. Our room did overlook tram line, so there was some noise from the passing trams, but aircon meant we could keep windows closed overnight to limit that. Good location - felt safe. Could leave luggage in secure area after check out which was very convenient.

The hotel was located in a convenient location (walking distance to Rembrandt Square, fanstatic shopping, an outdoor market, etc...). The trams runs along the same street the hotel is on, which makes getting around very easy. However, there was construction going on the road we were facing which kept us up at night and woke us up early in the morning. […] The walls and carpets of the hotel room itself were dirty! Would certainly recommend this......excellent location to central part of Amsterdam, easy to access both tram and bus. Took bus to Central Train Station for additional touring. Room was small but adequate, would stay here again. Many close places to eat and drink.

It was our first time in Amsterdam. Am glad we chose this hotel. It was easy to get to it from the airport by train, then tram. Walking distance just a few minutes from tram , rembrandt square and nice stroll to red light district. This hotel is in the heart of the Rembrant Distrcit and makes it easily accessible to many different activities in Amsterdam.

This was our second stay at the hotel and it was a wonderful experience as always. Last time we had stayed in the rooms with a double bed - these rooms are larger with a huge, beautiful bathroom and shower. This time,as we booked last minute, we managed to get a room with twin beds, but the beds were pushed together to form a huge double bed, brilliant! […] The room was smaller compared to the previous one, but equally delightful, no bathtub but they have the amazing rainforest showers which I think makes us want to come back to this hotel more than anything else. Room is spacious for 2 people and very neat and clean. The hotel is in an excellent location, 30 seconds away from a tram stop and bang in the middle of Rembrandt Square so lots of pubs and great places to eat are at your doorstep. The only negative for me is that breakfast is excluded from the rate and it quite pricey so you are better off going to the numerous cafes in the Square. Very helpful, friendly staff. Another note, if you get offered an upgrade to the hotel apartments, refuse it, as although the apartments are bigger, they are older than the rest of the hotel and not refurbished to the high standards of the rooms and the quite stuffy and warm. The hotel was in a good location but walls were thin and you could here guests next door and the carpet was stained and very worn. Staff was friendly and the restaurant FLO was excellent.

Excellent hotel in a very central location. Easy access to both Dam square region and Museum area. Staff helpful and cleaniness perfect. The two entrances offered a door to the canals or into the Rembrant Sq cafe area.

1. The location is great don't get me wrong: close to trams and subway and in a happening square. Of particular mote was an organic supermarket nearby which is perfect for breakfasts/snacks to go. 2. Our first room was filthy. Carpet, drapes, and walls. Looked seriously like someone threw up in there. And then spilled ten pots of coffee. Be warned against […] the "standard room". We later moved upstairs to a suite which was better kept. 3. All the finishes and furniture of the hotel are cheap and the wear is obviously showing. No expenses was spent on this place! + Located in between the Red Lights / drugs center and the museums/clubs areas. Good design. Good bathrooms. - Not everyone at the reception are ready to help. It's my 4th stay here and rooms are getting dirtier every stay. This time I changed rooms due to noise from the elevator and both had lots of stains on the carpet.

The hotel was centrally located. The staff and particularly the concierge was very helpful. They offer a breakfast option - which I recommend. Nothing special, but very European and a good value in comparison to nearby options.

Hotel is very European with stylish amenities in room, if you don't care for modern spaces -- don't stay here. Executive room had comfy king size bed. Smart use of space to unpack and store your suitcase contents in a small space -- I normally don't do this, but closets were very well done. This hotel is about a 20 minute walk to Central Station and very close to a Canal Bus stop. The rooms are sort of small but I spent most of my days touring the city so that was fine. Overall, a good hotel.

We had a great time staying at this hotel; great location with restaurants all around. Flower market was incredible and only a short walk away. Amsterdam is very walkable and things aren't as far as they look on the map. Shopping was nearby as well as tourist attractions. Staff was very accommodating, just be careful of the extra taxes and/or charges. […] The glass doors to the bathroom was most unusual, but we got a good laugh out of it. This hotel is in a fantastic location close to lots of restaurants and a metro station. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was exceptional. There were some stains on the carpet as others have commented, but they didn't ruin my stay.

I recently stayed at the Eden Rembrandt Square Hotel, the location is good on the Amstel canel. The staff was great when I came to the hotel in the early am, I knew I was going to have to wait for my room until 3:00, checked my bags and took off to do some errands, when I came back at 3:00 to check in the gal at the counter was rather rude, when I asked […] about using the internet with a printer she stated that the hotels printer was down and I would have to figure something else out. I was so tired I did not argue with her, the consigner told me where I could find internet to I could print my boarding passes. I will not stay here again. It was over priced and not friendly. Maintenance: 1. The bathroom sink was sluggish in draining. This was reported to the front desk the evening of our arrival. Two days later no action had yet been taken.2. There was no soap in the dispenser at the bathroom sink. I told the maid personally about it the next morning after our arrival. Two days later the soap dispenser was still empty. Comfort: […] 1. The mattresses are too soft in the beds. 2. There are no drawers to put clothing or personal effects in, only shelves. 3. The hotel was clean and met our expectations. The rooms seemed like they went through an update since they had a nice decor as well as an updated bathroom. The hotel is located next to a few clubs so the location was great for us.

"Outstanding Hotel", but Pricey

i loved amsterdam. this hotel was great as well. i loved the style it had. i had a little trouble finding it at first, but i blame that on my stubborness to not ask for directions. the desk staff i did not care for at all, luckily i did not have to deal with them except for check in and check out. the other staff in the hotel was very pleasant. the […] location was good as well. close to a town square with resturants that stay open late. it is also at the end of there shopping area, so you can start right at the beggining and walk all the shops. it was a little walk to the red light district and sight seeing, maybe 10 - 15 minutes... but it did not seem bad at all. i would definitely stay here again. This is a nice hotel, but definitely not a four star.

excellent location in Amsterdam, comfortable quiet room ....the glass bathroom doors weren't as bad as reviews indicated. The Concierege was located on other side of building which is separate hotel! We are researching why we were charged city tax at discharge.

hotel was in rembrandt where a lot of the places to hang out were. within walking distance to any of the other hot spots or tourist sites to the north and south. the room had all of the amenities and felt like brand new. staff was very friendly and spoke english fluently. highly recommend for the value.

Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional, hotel was modern and clean and very well situated, perfect for couples and also for single people, not one bad word to say about the hotel.

We spent 3 weeks in Europe, and this hotel was our favorite one! We received helpful service and the room was gorgeous!

They did alert us to the unique mini-bar that automatically charges you for any items that are picked up or moved. We arrived on a Sunday after a large party weekend in Amsterdam. My husband and I stayed in Amsterdam for four days during the past week and spent all of them at the Eden Rembrandt Square hotel (in two different rooms). I was happy with almost everything there. The room was much bigger then any other European hotel I have been in, including the bathroom. I found it quite comfortable. The only problem I had was with […] the cleanliness. There were stains all over the carpet, something that kind of grosses me out, because I don't like to think about what happened in there to make the stains! If you're not too picky about the cleanliness, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. I would also suggest looking at the Eden Hotel Amsterdam. The two hotels are actually connected.
