The UNESCO-listed old town lies within the walls of Emperor Diocletian’s 3rd-century Roman palace. The pedestrian-only, marble-paved streets and piazzas are filled with medieval stone buildings, cafes and boutiques. Daily ferries serve the nearby islands and many yacht charter companies are based here.

Lack of maintenance. Hotel owners indifferent to guests. Only saving grace were the reception girls and restaurant staff.
"Nice family beach hotel with pool"
The hotel was perfect for a family for a four day beach vacation. The hotel has a small pool, I didn't see very many other places in the area with a pool. We spent our time between the beach and the pool. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance on the beach and we liked the attached restaurant, Crazy Brothers. It is not a great location […] if you want to take a boat out to the islands. You either have to go into Split or take a pretty expensive charter from Le Meridian Lav marina. If we stayed longer, we might have gotten tired of the local restaurant options but for a short stay it was perfect for us. "Good Hotel on the Podstrana Beach"
Hotel Villa BB was a nice, clean, modern hotel on the beach just south of Split. The hotel location is about 10-15 minutes from the ferryport or 30 minutes from the airport. Very clean nicely decorated room with a modern bathroom (though water pressure was a bit weak on the 3rd floor). Hotel outdoor pool area was very nice (had great live music the […] 1 night we were there) and the Cafe between the hotel and the beach was great for a beer and a bite to eat. The beach itself wasn't anything special (considering what's available on some of the islands right off the coast!) but it was good for our transfer day between the islands and flying home. "BB VIlla- Split, Croatia"
The hotel is located in a very nice location and about 30 minutes by public bus to the city of Split. It just cost about 1.5 euro per trip.The hotel facilities are good as the price charged. The staffs are friendly and helpful. However, I would like to recommend to add some varieties of buffet breakfast. The food are same everyday. As I have stayed […] 5 days, I would like to see slight changes in term of the food. And there is no lift for those who have climbing the staircase problem. "Hotel Villa BB in Postdrana Croatia - a nice place"
We enjoyed the place which is close to the sea. Nice people, nice rooms without a small refrigerator (which is not so good). Close to Split and comfortable as a place to be there and tour to many places around.

This hotel was very nice for what we paid. It was more like self catering room. New painted. I would have liked a bed side light if I had to mention an improvement. Nice terrace with view of the sea. "Nice with a small room for improvement"
Nice hotel, good service, there was a small problem with the breakfast yoghourt, the use by date was far away, but there was mould on top of it. May be the very hot weather.
"Great little place by the beach"
The hostess was very helpful. Great room right near the bus stop and the beach. Great breakfast downstairs and a bar/cafe on the beach! Would stay there again if going back.

"Hotel BB en Croatie à Podstrana"
Hotel avec toutes les commodités à côté, ( magasin, port, ferry, car, plage restos. Très joli dans l'ensemble , chambres, petite piscine, hotel récent , resto de l hotel tres bon. L'entretien de la chambre lors du séjour laisse a désiré, seulement 1 fois en quinze jours.
Het appartement/hotel is niet super maar in combinatie met balkon, zwembad, beach bar en strand is dit een hele geschikte locatie

hotel recentemente ristrutturato negli arredi, gradevole. facilmente raggiungibile da spalato, seguire via principale in direzione makarska. posizione non bellissima, si affaccia sulla strada statale, posizione rumorosa.

"ikke imponert"
På hotellets nettside er det bilder som langt fra beskriver virkeligheten, Vi ble tildelt et lite rom som knapt nok hadde plass til en seng og et garderobeskap, og fikk heller ikke noe prisreduksjon pga plaaseringen.Personalet så vi knapt i de to døgnene oppholdet varte, og omgivelsene var heller ikke noe å skryte av pga manglende tilbud både av spisesteder […] og severdigheter.Beliggenheten var i et lite tettsted utenfor Split, og en er avhengig av transport for å komme inn til byen.
