Aria Suites - Тіра

Demetria and her staff (Christos, et al) did everything they could to make our stay wonderful! They were always ready with recommendations and advice and their welcoming spirit made for a wonderful stay, in spite of the windy weather. I would definitely recommend Aria Suites to anyone traveling to Santorini. Just be advised that early in the season […] (early April), the weather can be tricky. It was cold and extremely windy when we were there so we couldn't enjoy the fabulous outdoor amenities that Aria Suites had to offer. Thankfully, the breakfasts were delicious (whether they were consumed indoors or out), and the staff directed us to many other sites and activities that were weather appropriate. What an amazing stay we had at Aria Suites! Excellent staff - very attentive to all your needs and always very friendly and service with a smile. Claudio and the woman at the front desk (forget her name) were especially great. The large spacious rooms are clean, well air-conditioned, and comfortable. Each morning they set up your breakfast on your […] private veranda. You specify what you want for breakfast the night before from a good list of different items, and you specify the time you want it delivered. This is only one of ways that make Aria Suites top notch. There are only 6 suites in the hotel, so the staff takes care of you like you are a guest in their own home. It's a very unique experience and I had a great relaxing time. One thing to note is that this hotel is on top of the cliff, not on the side, so the view is not quite what it could be in other hotels that are on the cliff. The suites surround the pool, so they don't have a view of the caldera from the room, but from outside at one end of the pool there is a nice view of the caldera, but not a full 180 degrees. You can get spectacular views by walking just a minute or two from the hotel. Balance this against the unique experience at Aria Suites. I was not disappointed at all. Great views were all around that I experienced all day and night, and while at the hotel I enjoyed a relaxing time by the pool, still with a nice view, and the service and overall experience at Aria was another dimension that made the vacation extra special. Lovely location, lovely staff who are unbelievably helpful, lovely rooms with lots of wonderful little touches. Fabulous.

Excellent service, great view and well located

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Aria Suite for our Honeymoon. We stayed at La Boehme suite and it was spacious with living room, dining area, master bedroom, and another queen bed at the attic. We had breakfast served right at our front patio area, which overlooking caldera and Aegean Sea. The customer services provided by the staffs were impeccable […] and unbeatable. We never had such personal and friendly services before this. The host of the suite is run by Dimitra; further, she goes the extra miles to make sure our vacation was enjoyable and pleasant. Dimitra informed us upon our arrival that our ferry from Santorini to Mykonos might be impacted by Greek’s general strike on 5-11-11. She followed up with travel agency to accommodate the ever-changing strike situation. She made sure that we won’t to be strained with the strike. We met with some other people on the island that stayed in different places and had no idea of the strike until the night before. We will definitely stay at this hotel when we come back to Santorini again. Also, I forgot to mention that the location is in the center of Fira which is near many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Surprisingly it’s also serene and peaceful to stay here, even though it was very close to the town and we sleep so soundly at night. I only wish we could have stayed longer there. this hotel was great. Dimitria at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. she had answers to all our questions about the surrounding area, dining, shopping, excursions (boat trips to see the volcano, etc.) .. the check in was quick and our room was clean. these are important things to me, so i was satisfied from the […] start. .. the staff tidys the room TWICE daily..but was never intrusive.. it was great. the bed was clean but hard which is the only reason i gave 4 stars vs 5 for comfort of room.. everything else was just fine. the set up is the apparent standard (for santorini) cave-like apartment style villas with small kitchen areas, living room, loft with spare bed, and bathroom with full size tub. the view from the hotel rooms is perfect.. you can see the volcano hills, the beautiful water, sunset, etc. the pool is only moderately sized by comparison to large resort hotels but was not crowded so it was also just fine. there is snack/drink service for the bar but no on-site restaurant.. however, breakfast is served daily on your balcony at the time you choose! it is perfect. loved that as the start to the day. ...the hotel is literally steps from the restaurants and shopping area. there are several cobble stone streets to walk up and down in this area. ..there are a few small pubs.. and a small restaurant called "Nikolas" was GREAT for an informal delicious inexpensive meal.. people lined up in the street for a table in this small but good place. Aria (and the Fira area in general) was a beautiful place to stay, i definitely recommend it. Читати далі
