"Small but satisfactory"
Room extremely compact, as was the bathroom. But this was really the only drawback, given the price paid. Breakfast basic but fine, and staff generally very hjelpful and welcoming.

This hotel offers a great location for the price. While the rooms are not large the location more than makes up for the size. If you are on a budget. This is the hotel to stay at. Very business style hotel-but fine for what we wanted. Easy to find from the local subway station.

The hotel is a bit old, but it is closed to the busy area for dinning and the subway station. For travelling, it is not a bad choice.

Was there end of Dec 2011 for 2 nights. Hotel is less then 2km away from Nagoya station where huge underground shopping and big department stores - Takashimaya, Meitetsu are situated. It's conveniently located @ Sakae district, 5min direct train from Nagoya station + another 5min walk to hotel; close proximity to other shopping malls like Mitsukoshi, […] Parco and lotsa restaurants. Few restaurants & a convenience store are found in the same complex. Hotel lobby provide free coffee/tea and wi-fi service, but unfortunately wireless access via mobile phone was perpetually down and the front office couldn't do anything about it besides apologising.. hope the management will look into this area as quality (free) wi-fi connection is provided in most hotels. The only word of caution I would give to the people from booking this hotel, is how unsafe the hotel seemed. I was made aware about the security issues of having the lobby on the 1st floor, but from the ground floor, one could take the elevator up and bypass the lobby up to the room floors. "Recommended"
convenience location, the room is a bit larger and the breakfast is better than most standard Japan hotel, the staff are friendly & helpful. Just, in case possible to provide wireless (Wifi) in room will be perfect.....
"Convenient location and great service"
No complaints with this hotel whatsoever, and one of the better hotels I've stayed in this year. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and in a country like Japan where english is seldom spoken and few know it, it's a great attribute. The subway is a three minute walk, if that...there's a shop with food and whatever else you might need whilst travelling […] on the bottom floor, and you don't have to sell your kidneys to purchase from it...it's very reasonably priced. Also, the internet is free in your room, and not just in the lobby as with most hotels. I was there on business, and subsequently used the internet extensively during my time there....I can't imagine what the bill would have amounted to if it wasn't complimentary. To be honest, I wouldn't visit the city Nagoya for a holiday...there are much better places in Japan for sightseeing and relaxation such as Osaka or Tokyo...Nagoya is just a sprawling metropolis and not much else, and had I not needed to be there for business, I wouldn't have. But, If Nagoya is where you need to be, then you won't go wrong staying at this hotel. Just don't presume you'll watch any TV there, even the news, unless you speak Japanese...because all the channels are in Japanese, including CNN and BBC. That was my only irritation there, but, that had nothing to do with the hotel...it's just the way it is in Japan. P.S. Do not catch a taxi in Japan....it is EXTREMELY expensive, as I found out. "Great stay"
Even though the hotel is a bit walk distance from the subway station, but it is in a great prime area, surrounding with shopping malls and landmark areas. It is quite easy to get around. The coffee at hotel was very nice and offer for a take out cup too. My boyfriend loves it.
"B hotel - great stay"
B hotel is within walking distance from Sakae subway station (which is 2 stops from Nagoya main station). Clean and functional. Got discounted rates so it was quite worth it for a single traveller like me. No negativities noted for my 2 nights stay there.
"Great price, great place."
I have stayed at two B hotels now, in Kobe and Nagoya, and at both I have had good experiences. They are both close to the nightlife and the service is excellent. Also, there is usually someone working there who speaks English. The rates are great, better than many places, and the hotel is very clean and comfy. I highly recommend it.

"The B Hotel in Nagoya Japan"
It was far more than my expectation. Price is very reasonable for such city center location. The room is very spacious as Japanese "business hotel". People are very friendly and helpful. There is conevenience store in ground floor. You can buy sandwitch, soft drink, and even beer in 24 hours. I will recommend to all friends without any hesitation.

The hotel is located just 400 m from Sakae station exit 13. The hotel room is small but having king size bed is great. 満足したが、 名古屋マラソンの前日の料金が３倍近かったのでは？ と、思うと、腹立たしい

"Good hotel in heart of Sakae"
Hotel is near Sakae metro station ja big departmenstores, a view over nice park. Breakfast included both western and japanease foods, many of them suitable for vegetarians. Only reason of dissapointment was the heat in the room, we couldn't make it colder.

주변에 쇼핑센터 및 가까운 관광지가 많아 굳이 차량을 이용하지 않더라도 걸어서 여러곳을 방문할 수 있는 좋은 위치에 자리하고 있습니다. 서비스도 좋지만 호텔방이 정갈하고 깨끗 깔끔해서 지저분한 느낌에 반감이 있는 제게는 최고 만족스러운 호텔이었습니다. 가격 대비 정말 최고죠! 나고야 여행을 하신다면 이호텔을 강력추천해 드리고 싶네요!

지난 나고야 여행에서 만족도가 높아서, 이번에도 더비로 이용하고 왔습니다~ 지난번엔 혼자가서 싱글룸이었고, 이번엔 둘이라 조금 큰 방을 사용했는데 역시 너무 좋네요~ 가격대비 너무 좋은 호텔 같아요~ 로비에서 무료로 먹을수 있는 커피도 굉장히 맛있습니다!^^ 나고야 가시는 분들께 적극 추천!!

"나고야 사카에에 위치한 더비호텔"
8박9일동안 머물렀습니다. 우선 결론은... 최고입니다!!! 13번 출구에서 5분거리라고 나와있지만 실제적으론 5분도 안걸립니다. 사카에는 물론 직진으로 횡단보도를 3개 넘으면 로프트가 나오는데 물건을 사러갈수도 있고, 보도로 20분 정도 걸으면 오수상가도 갈수 있습니다. 또한 나고야역과는 지하철로 2코스정도입니다만, 바로 옆골목에는 테바사키로 유명한 야마짱과, 야마짱 바로 건너편에 모스버거가 위치해 있어 저녁을 간단하게 먹으려면 멀리 걸어갈 필요가 없습니다. 그리고 호텔 1층에서 나와 커브만 돌면 로손편의점이 있습니다. 친구와 느낀거지만,.. 호텔을 제일 잘골랐다고 여행하는 동안 계속 말했네요.. 기본 서비스도 좋지만, […] 역시나.. 번화가와 가까워서 이동하기에 편했습니다. 버스를 타지도 않았고, 거의 걸어다녔습니다. 교통비를 생각하시는 분들이라면 적극추천합니다. "사카에 역에서 가까운 호텔"
위치도 좋구요!! 나고야 가실꺼면 나고야 역보다는 사카에역이 쇼핑하기는 더 좋은거 같아요~ 그리고 호텔도 일본호텔치고 방크기도 크고 깨끗했습니다!

Todella hyvä ja siisti hotelli keskeisellä paikalla. Edullinen hotelli joskin pienehkö huone. Huoneesta puuttui kaappi (vaatesäilytystilat) jos majoittuu pidemmäksi aikaa. Ilman kaappiakin tuli toimeen.
