Stayed Dec. 2012. It's not the Hilton. It's a motel. If you're expecting high class, this Motel is not for you. It's ok for me and so was the price. They have lots of cable channels and WIFI. Room was AWFUL. We were in town for a parents' weekend at Hillsdale, and all the area hotels were booked. ABVI offered a very decent rate, but the room was nothing like the photo on the website. Musty smell hit us immediately, but we assumed the room had been unoccupied for a while and we tried to air it out. When we returned later that night after […] a campus function, it was still dreadful, and we soon found out why. The floor was completely damp - I assume from recent rain in the area - and we had no idea until we removed our shoes and felt the squish of the carpet. The smell was so strong my husband couldn't sleep in the room that night. Unfortunately, at that late hour, nothing could be done for that night's stay - but Expedia was very understanding and was able to book us a room in Coldwater for the next night. They also issued a refund for the 2nd night since we could not stay in the room, and gave us some money off the next night's reservation. I don't know if this facility is any better when it hasn't been raining, but we were not impressed even had it not smelled so bad. The bed barely fit in the room, and the facility was poorly maintained. We would recommend driving the extra 20 miles and staying in Coldwater - that's what we plan to do from now on. Читати далі

We went here for parent's weekend at my son's college, the amazing thing is we were in the exact same room as last year. Improvements over last year included an updated TV (not flat screen, but good size and good picture quality), mini-fridge and microwave, and the addition of a rack for hanging clothes, which was not present last year. Room is small, […] not good for lounging. Manager is not friendly, not sure how good his command of the English language is. Last year there was a breakfast buffet (cold cereal, juice and danishes), this year there was none and the office was kept locked until at least 8AM (the time we checked out). Mattresses were not comfortable and the bed frame shook for what seemed like minutes anytime you rolled over. BUT IT WAS CLEAN, and there is a very nice diner next door. Читати далі

We chose this motel because it was pet friendly. We have a teacup chihuahua. The first thing the host did was YELL at us that the dog can not be on the bed and the dog can not be on the chair. Dogs tear everything up. I need your ID for security and the charge is $7 per night. We didn't mind paying the $7, but the host was very rude yelling at us. We […] were in room 211 and the WiFi was very poor. I had to put two pillows on the table and my laptop on them to get reception through the window. The room was small but clean. This was a clean, simple room- I do feel like it was too expensive considering the surrounding motel prices, even with the discount offered through hotels.com.

Carpet and bedding clean. Maintenance on room poor-old heat vents rusty in room and bathroom. Manager was not friendly. Continental breakfast was poor - no milk or OJ. We left quickly.

Just stayed there for the August NASCAR race. the room was dirty and smelled like sewer gas. manager was not friendly or helpful.Would never recommend this place to anyone.

The room had everything we could want really for the money we paid. The bed wasn't very comfortable though.

What is this? Too simple to be called à hotel. Owner (?) barefoot in joggning pants in the morning, and breakfast .... Not good. I would recommend Hillsdale days inn! Same price but 10 Times better! This was Fawlty Towers!
