Don't miss the Museu Picasso and the Museu d'Història de la Ciutat, as much for their palatial settings as their content.

Best location, near Placa Catalonya. Great, totally new (renewed?) hotel, with spacious rooms, huge beds, a cute balcony, mini-bar and coffee/tea. There's a nice mini-spa (also open during the winter) with free access. Highly recommended!
"CATALONIA RAMBLAS HOTEL-Barcelona"
We had a great experience here. Very convenient location and comfortable hotel -- room and other areas. Staff was outstanding in advising us location for tours and other nearby areas. Everyone was so friendly.
The location was great. The free Wi-Fi service was wonderful. The room was very comfortable (softer mattresses would have been nice). By 11 when the Fitness Center opened we were already touring the city. Opening the fitness center earlier in the morning would have been more tourist friendly.

Vi er meget tilfredse med oppholdet, og kommer til å reise tilbake dit så snart vi kan. Ble oppgradert til juniorsuite med eget basseng, strålende! Kostet jo litt mer, men det var det verdt!

Hotellet har en meget sentral beliggenhet, like ved Place de Catalonia, og La Rambla. Vi følte at vi hadde gangavstand til det aller meste. Veldig sentralt for sight-seeing bussene som går rundt i Barcelona. Hyggelig betjening og pene og rene rom. Gratis bruk av trådløst internett på rommet. "Can recommend Hotel Catalunia Ramblas in Barcelona"
This was already my second stay in Catalunia Ramblas. I appreciate the clean room and particularly the elegant and well functioning bathroom. Location is perfect. Room was quiet. Breakfast great. Everything was as expected. However two areas of improvement: 1) The staff at reception does not speak English well enough, and we did have some harmfull misunderstandings […] due to this. 2) There was not really place where to keep clothes and other things even though the room was spacious.
