Great location...in the heart of old town but difficult to find by car.

we enjoyed our stay at the Zum Dom it was very central and the room was lovely. Very romantic and very comfortable beds! Would stay again!

This hotel, located in the middle of the inner city, yet easily accessed by car, has plenty of historical charm. The owners have just completed renovation of the exterior (in fact, the last scaffolding came down during our stay); one hopes that they will now turn to touch up a few worn bits in the interior (such as the frayed upholstery on the headboard […] of our bed). Such cosmetic wear aside, our room was very comfortable and larger than you'd expect from a hotel in a centuries-old building, with an unusually spacious bathroom. Modern touches include free wi-fi. The wonderfully friendly and efficient staff are ever ready to help. If you arrive by car, you can park it at reduced cost a public garage some 200 meters away (up the hill). We enjoyed our stay at the Zum Dom and will come back, the next time we visit Graz. Читати далі

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Zum Dom in beautiful Graz. We were very privileged to be upgraded to an enormous suite with a living room, small kitchen and a pretty outdoor terrace with a jacuzzi. The Hotel Zum Dom is an ancient gem -- the converted Palais Inzaighi from the 15th century -- with lots of history and charm. The rooms are surprisingly large and full of character (if a little odd in some respects), and really fairly priced, given the old-world feel of the place and, especially, the location. Downside: the hotel safe wasn't working and we had a very stressful few hours thinking we wouldn't get our passports back on time to leave -- and the staff knew there was a problem with the safe and, very unwisely, allowed it to be used. Also, there appears to be no cleaning staff on Sundays, which I've never seen before. Overall, though, the staff were very helpful and polite, and perfectly bilingual, which I very much appreciated. Awesome location, awesome staff, awesome breakfast buffet. I was really impressed with this hotel. Especially after I picked it arbitrarily off the internet because all the other hotels were booked.

We stayed just one night at the Hotel zum Dom, and it was absolutely lovely. The receptionist was gracious and helpful, giving dining tips and offering umbrellas to borrow. The only minor quibble I had was that twice when I needed help at reception there was no one there, and no way to ring a bell or whatnot to get help. So I was uncertain about what […] to do in those moments. I understand the receptionist must step away from time to time, but perhaps providing a bell or a small sign saying she'll be back in 5 minutes would be good, so guests aren't left hanging, unsure what to do. The hotel room was larger than I expected, with gorgeous high ceilings. The floor was very creaky, but this is to be expected in such a fine old building. The shower stall was quite small, I would have preferred a larger one, and there was room in the bathroom for a larger shower, even a bath perhaps. The bed was very comfortable, perhaps a bit soft for some, but that's how I like it. Cleanliness is by far the most important thing for me personally, especially in older buildings. And everything was very clean and well-cared for. The hotel location couldn't be more central, and yet it was also quite quiet. The surrounding streets are small lanes, so not a lot of traffic. There were some late night revelers coming out of a local pub who were quite loud at 2:00 am on a Saturday, but this is not the fault of the hotel at all. I expect such things in a city center hotel. Parking in the vicinity is basically impossible. But the hotel provides a 24 hour parking place in a nearby garage for €14/day. Note that the garage is about 400 meters from the hotel, so best to unload your luggage in the hotel lobby before parking the car. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of continental fare, including several different meats and cheese, buns and other breads, hard boiled eggs, as well as eggs cooked to order. Das Hotel zum Dom ist ein alter Palais, natürlich rund um schön saniert. Unser Zimmer hatte entsprechend hohe Decken mit Stuck, war sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Das Bad war neu und modern, in einer Art "Einbau-Kabine" im Zimmer integriert - mag seltsam klingen, habe vorher auch gelesen, dass es dem ein oder anderen nicht gefallen hat, allerdings […] bietet das Bad alles was man braucht und war für uns prima. Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt, Schlossberg, Stadtpark, Markt bei der Oper, TU, Literaturhaus und natürlich die Altstadt etc. sind alle super erreichbar - man muss sich schon anstrengen, will man etwas mehr Gehen ... Frühstück war auch prima, entweder im Frühstücksraum oder im "Innenhof", der abends ein Steak-Restaurant ist. Hotelpersonal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Mini-Bar gut gefüllt, Hotel-Safe im Zimmer - sprich: für uns war es sehr schön, würden auch jederzeit wieder kommen. Ach ja: Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Motto und dementsprechend eine eigene Künstler-Figur vor der Tür; der Kunst entsprechend sind die Figuren Geschmackssache - hätte nur zugern gewusst, was unsere bedeutet (Zi 15), aber ein bißchen Geheimnis hat noch keinen geschadet. Ótima localização, limpeza, atendimento e ótimo café da manhã

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielfältig und reichlich. Das Palais, in dem das Hotel untergebracht ist, hat Flair und Ausstrahlung. Das Zimmer ist groß, vielleicht ein wenig düster.

Das Zimmer (ein Komfort-Zimmer, also bereits die bessere Kategorie) war relativ klein und sehr dunkel. Auch die anderen Zimmer, welche man uns zeigte waren so. Das Hotel ist ein altes Stadtpalais, schon etwas heruntergekommen, und in die Zimmer wurden "Sanitär-Kabinen" eingebaut. Die Handtücher waren zwar sauber, aber schon sehr abgenutzt und eher "durchsichtig". […] Ein paar auf dem Zimmerboden herumkrabbelnde Käfer fanden zwar das Interesse unserer Tochter, uns gefiel das aber eher nicht! Das Hotel hat KEINEN eigenen Parkplatz, man muss also in ein ca 1km entferntes Parkhaus fahren. Der Preis für das Parken dort beträgt mit spezieller Hotelermässigung 28.- EUR pro Tag (Achtundzwanzig EURO!) . Das Frühstück im Hotel ist eher knapp und wenig Auswahl. Obwohl wir unter der Woche da waren, gab es nur aufgebackenes Brot. Als um 08:15 kein Brot mehr da war, wurde uns erklärt, wir müssten jetzt halt 10' warten bis neues Brot aufgebacken wäre (Zitat: "Soviel Geduld werden Sie dann schon haben müssen..."). Wer Kaffe will, wird auf die dort stehende Espresso-Maschine verwiesen, und kann sich dann selbst (!) seinen Kaffe machen. Das Personal (überhaupt nur 2 Personen im Frühstücksbereich) hat sich wärenddessen mit der Receptionistin unterhalten und Radio gehört). Für ein angebliches 4* Hotel alles sehr seltsame Zustände. Wir kommen sicher nicht wieder dort hin! Читати далі

Das Hotel zum Dom ist ein komfortables Stadthotel, die Zimmer trotz zentraler Lage ruhig. Das Personal am Frühstücksbuffet wirkte teilweise unprofessionell. Ansonsten alles prima, danke!

Hallo Dieses Hotel kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Liegt sehr Zentral, man kann sehr vieles zu Fuss erreichen. Zimmer sehr sauber. Super Frühstück. Achtung die Parkgarage ist ein paar Gehminuten entfernt. Die Ermäßigung der Parkgarage durch das Hotel hat beim Zahlautomaten nicht funktioniert.

Hotel estremamente confortevole, posto in una splendida posizione, stanze enormi e ben arredate. Giudizio ottimo Nino

Got a very dark room with a bathroom which had a very strange, bad smell to it. The reception staff was very helpful and nice. At breakfast there were no clean tables and no service at all. Had to go to the kitchen to get some coffe. Only a cold breakfast with no scrambled eggs and bacon or sausages. Not 4 stars in my opinion. Great location though […] . Читати далі

Hotelli oli erinomaisella paikalla keskustan välittömässä läheisyydessä, kävely keskustaan n.10 min. Vastaanotto oli hieman nihkeä,mutta muu henkilökunta oli avuliasta. Hinta-laatusuhde oli hieman korkeahko. Ostoskadun alkuun n. 100 m. Samoin ravintolakadun alkuun (Y-risteys).

Hotelli sijaitsee vanhassa palatsissa. Huoneen lattia oli voimakkaasti narisevaa vanhaa parkettia, sisäikkunoiden puitteissa oli halkeamia. Huone oli vanhahtavuudessaan tyylikäs, mutta eteistiloissa komerot olivat ehkä lastulevyä ja tyyliin sopimattomia. Henkilökunnan ystävällisyys oli vaihtelevaa, mutta saimme huoneen pidetyksi lähtöpäivänä klo 16 […] asti. Aamiainen oli hyvä. Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen. Читати далі

Hotel muy bien situado en la zona antigua de la ciudad de Graz Personal muy agradable. La habitación muy acogedora y muy limpia. El desayuno abundante y bueno.
