Be careful, we didn't get to stay in the beautiful building in the picture but up the road at a 1970's building which was noisy as people walked past in the early hours of the morning. The best thing about Hotel Dalmacija is the location - right on the waterfront less than 5 minutes walk from Hvar's main square. There's a great swimming spot right outside the front door and a small pebbly beach just a minute's walk along the waterfront. The views from the rooms with sea view are stunning. The top floor balconies must be one of the […] best places in town not only to watch the comings and going of yachts and boats from the harbour but to have a grandstand view of the sunset each evening. So that's the good news. The bad news? The decor is a bit drab. The rooms are clean but basic. Everything is functional but certainly no more than that. There's little in the way of mod-cons such as airconditioning (something of a drawback on a humid summer night) although our room did have a desk fan. Breakfast is really nothing to write home about so don't expect a feast. If you want high-end luxury, try the Adriana or the Riva. For something a bit cheaper, try the Palace or the Amfora. This is for people on a budget (during our stay it seemed to be popular with middle-aged Croatian couples) However, if you're on a budget and aren't TOO fussy, just looking for somewhere clean and comfortable with a great location, you could do worse. The hotel is very well located, not far from the main port (where you get dropped off from the ferry) and opposite a small beach- very convienient for getting into the centre. However, this is the only feature you pay the big price for- the hotel staff were OK but not overly helpful (when we first got there our room had no lights, the balcony door […] wouldn't shut despite being on the ground floor and our toilet door had no lock at all, no hairdryer either). No air con in rooms- stuffy! The room is basically hostel standard and for the price they charge, is quite frankly a rip off. You would be much better staying in an apartment- which is what we did for our last few nights, with air con, kitchen, nicer room- but for an extra 5 minute walk and for less than half the price we were more than happy with this! This hotel was ok for the price. Nice balcony and great views. The parking is at another hotel and all luggage must be walked in along the beach wall. No lift. Needs a renovation but clean. Noises also carry through rooms pretty well- most likely because of the shutters to the balconies. Breakfast is served at the much nicer sister hotel and was fabulous! […] HOWEVER- we came back from our day to find the housekeeping key in our door. It didn't make us feel to safe knowing anyone could have accessed our room while we were gone. Читати далі

This is a charming older style Hotel, well situated in a very friendly historic port. The hotel is about 120 meters from where the catamaran drops you off. However it is very easy to walk past the archway into the hotel as it is not well signed. If you get to the first little beach you have gone way past the hotel. Staff at the hotel spoke good english […] and where very friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated with no air con, but very clean and comfortable.The shower was ok.The view from the balcony was absolutely fantastic.We went snorkelling right outside the hotel. At the time we stayed (june 2010) the hotel offered breakfast at a local restaurant about 150 meters away right on the harbour front.This was a full buffet breakfast and was first class.Infact it was one of the best bits of our holiday. The Hotel is ideally situated to all the local bars and restaurants around the harbour.Water taxis to the local beaches and islands are also very close by. The hotel was visible as we arrived in Hvar by boat. It was a small hotel with big rooms with a balcony which was beautiful. The only way it could be improved would be through installing air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was fair given the great buffet breakfast included. Would recommend for couples.

I think this would be the best hotel you could get at this price, locationwise. 2 minutes from the ferry port. The facilities were a bit aged, but clean enough. Nice view of the sea from the window and from the balcony.

Nos instalaron en un anexo del hotel, sin aire acondicionado, el desayuno muy justo. La ubicación muy buena junto al mar.

Das Hotel liegt zentral in der Nähe vom Hafen. Das Hotel bietet einen zufriedenstellenden Service. Das einzige was wir vermissten war die Klimanlage.

Om du funderar på att boka detta hotell var noga med att verkligen se vad det är för rum. Hotellet består av två byggnader den ena är väldigt trevlig och där serveras frukos. Den andra byggnaden ser inte ut att tillhöra samma hotell. Delen är av något studio liknande, otroligt omodern, små trasig och verkligen inte alls värt pengarna.

Jeg bestillte hotellet på nett og da stod det at det var et 3 stjerners hotell. Men resepsjonen var 3 stjerner og selve hotellet var 2 stjerner, og het noe helt annet! Det var ikke aircondition og ikke ble rommet vasket på 3 dager!! Hotellet er plassert ikke langt fra CarpeDiem, noe som førte til MYE bråk på nettene...Vi måtte ligge med døra åpen pga […] null aircondition! Følte at dette hotellet var lureri da det bare var 2 stjerner!! Aircondition er et must i den varmen som var i juli!! Anbefaler ikke dette hotellet!!!! Читати далі

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Meeressicht gebucht, im 3* Hotel. Wir wurde aber zuerst bei unserer Ankunft in ein anderes Gebäude verwiesen, das sich als 2* herausstellte. Wohl mit Meeressicht, aber ohne Klimaanlage und definitiv kein 3* Standard. Wir mussten zuerst wieder bei der Reception reklamieren und dann erst wurde uns ein Zimmer im Hauptgebäude […] gegeben. Auch dieses Zimmer hatte KEINE KLIMAANLAGE, aber immerhin war der Standard besser. Wie wir später herausfanden, handelte es sich um eine Junior Suite (mussten bei der Verlängerung um eine weitere Nacht den vollen Preis zahlen, da haben wir es bemerkt). Die Aussicht war fantastisch, schlafen konnten wir zum Glück mit offenen Fenstern, was den Mangel der Klimaanlage einigermassen korrigierte. Alles in allem ein gutes, preiswertes Hotel. Mühsam aber, dass man immer wieder reklamieren muss, bis man ein angemessenes Zimmer erhält. Hätten wir nicht reklamiert, hätten wir unsere Nächte in einem schäbigen, überhitzten 2* Zimmer verbracht. Me and my sister stayed on Hvar at this hotel for 5 nights and were very happy with our stay. Hotel is clean and fresh and service really good. Only issue was that our room was that there is simply no sound isloation in the whole hotel so you can here everything from the other rooms. The noise from other guests coming home late, showers, TVs, loud converstaions […] etc keeps you up at night a bit. And there is no AC, only a fan on the table. But apart form this is it was a clean nice hotel. Читати далі

は言う事有りません。 近くにフェリーのハーバーも有るし、裏は旧市街だし、海に直面し、眺めも抜群です。 が、ちょうど目の前に泳ぐ所が有るので夜中の２時や3時に酔っぱらい達が泳いだりすると、とてもうるさいです。酔っぱらいでなくても夜中に泳ぎにくる人もいるので、声はかなり響きます。 それ以外では、言う事無しのホテルです。

Flott utsikt og beliggenhet. Rett ved badebrygge, strand og sentrum av Hvar. Pent hotell utenfra, men hotellrommene er slitne og lite delikate. Ballkongdörene gikk ikke an å låse, og det var ikke aircondition i rommet (men vifte). Personalet kunne bra engelsk. Jeg rejser tit alene og er vant til at enkeltværelser ofte er små ombyggede kosteskabe, men denne gang blev jeg positivt overrasket. Fint stort værelse med én suite bad og toilet. Det eneste lille minus er, at der kun var en håndholdt bruser, men det er helt i småtingsafdelingen. Dejlig og varieret morgenmads buffet, dog på et andet hotel, men der var […] tale om 2 min. gang. Hotellet kan bestemt anbefales til en anden gang. Det kan godt betale sig at give lidt ekstra for oceanview. Udsigten ud over havnen er helt fantastisk. Читати далі

Bästa utsikt jag någonsin har haft! Vi bodde på tredje våningen med en panoramavy som man bara blev lycklig av.

Gammalt hotell som är slitet. Mycket bra läge till "centrum" men nackdelen är att det blir stökigt om nätterna från folk som kommer från nattklubbarna. Stannar gärna utanför vid en kaj och badar, super och skriker/sjunger. Hotellets personal är mycket trevlig, servicen är ok. Frukosten är på ett annat hotell medn är av MYCKET bra kvalitet.

Hvis du bestiller et rom med sjøutsikt på dette hotellet, kommer du til å få en uforglemmelig tur til Hvar. Utsikten her er fantastisk! Da må man heller tåle at rommet ikke er "helt nyoppusset". Selve hotellrommet var ok, badet trengte nok en oppgradering. Dette hotellet tilbereder ikke egen frokost til gjestene sine, du får derimot et kort slik at […] du kan gå å spise gratis frokost på nabohotellet. Frokosten her var veldig bra. Godt utvalg og fine omgivelser. Hvis jeg reiser tilbake til Hvar en gang, kommer jeg nok til å bo på dette hotellet, men da håper jeg at de har oppgradert badet. Читати далі
